轉眼又到了老爸生日的日子, 今年為了遷就老姊和我, 決定提早吃生日飯. 老爸一向喜愛中菜, 生日飯十之八九都是中餐, 今年也不例外, 他選擇了新斗記, 為的是它的粟米班塊, 同時也希望試試它的燒鵝! 數數手指, 已經有兩年多沒有光顧新斗記了. 在平日夜晚準時七時半到達後, 我們被安排在樓上的坐位. 環境與上次來差不多, 最大分別是食客不多, 只有八成滿, 與上次全場滿座的情況很不同. 可能是因為新斗記開了幾間分店, 食客可以有其他選擇, 不用全都擠到佐敦的總店有關. 今次的坐位是在樓梯旁邊, 兩旁也沒有其他枱, 所以沒有擠迫的感覺.店家仍舊採用公雞餐具, 既美觀又懷舊! 餐前小吃仍然是花生和酸蕎頭. 花生一般香脆, 鹽花佈滿表層; 蕎頭保持水準, 脆口而不太酸.除了平常的餐牌外, 今次多了一張菜牌, 上面的菜式全是店家特別介紹, 大部份都是較貴價的海鮮, 例如鮑魚, 老鼠斑, 東星班等等. 除了訂位時已預訂的燒鵝外, 今次專門點上次未有吃過, 但又是店家有名的招牌菜.馳名燒鵝皇半隻 $258老爸說不想吃乳豬, 而且上次晚飯時, 看見鄰枱的燒鵝很不錯, 所以今次點來試試. 燒鵝說是即點即燒的, 看起來不錯, 富有光澤, 顏色鮮明. 雖然鵝肉尚算入味, 肉質也嫰, 可是燒鵝上枱時只是微暖而已,  鵝皮一點也不脆, 令人懷疑到底是否即燒? 兩老認為, 最大的問題是燒得不透, 大大影響食味, 是最令人失望的一道菜.粟米炸魚塊 $148上次吃到的粟米班塊, 熱辣辣, 肉厚且滑, 又沒有魚腥味, 味道上佳, 老爸也是為此而說要來這店! 今次菜牌上沒有粟米班塊, 只有粟米炸魚塊, 另有粟米老鼠班/蘇鼠班塊, 但價錢卻比粟米炸魚塊貴好幾倍! 粟米炸魚塊, 上枱時仍舊是是粟米汁與魚塊是分開上. 粟米汁與上次分別不大, 有粒粒粟米和絲絲的蛋花, 入口有淡淡的粟米香味, 用來撈飯和蘸魚塊同吃也很美味! 魚塊一碟有八大件, 新鮮熱辣, 入口香脆. 可是魚塊比以前的薄身了不少, 而且魚味一般, 肉質一般彈牙而已. 問過侍應, 他們說魚塊仍是班塊, 但口感方面卻大不如前, 沒有班類魚的結實彈牙肉質, 實在懷疑是否真的是班塊!琵琶豆腐 $88蔬菜類方面, 今次捨棄了啫啫生菜煲, 選擇了較少吃的琵琶豆腐. 一般外出都是吃椒鹽豆腐, 這個琵琶豆腐, 是加入雞蛋混合後再炸. 豆腐份量頗多, 外皮不會太厚, 豆腐一般滑溜, 用來伴飯也不錯.君度香橙骨 $98本來想點生炒骨, 但老爸認為生炒骨太普通, 所以點了君度香橙骨. 上枱時已經傳來陣陣橙香味, 除了橙味的醬汁外, 還有粒粒的橙肉碎; 香橙骨的豬肉味不俗, 夠厚肉, 肉質不硬很易咬開, 是合格以上的菜式.豉椒炒蟶子皇 $232炒蟶子也是新斗記的招牌美食之一, 所以點了一份. 蟶子夠大隻, 比手掌還要大! 蟶子肉厚而且味鮮甜, 沒有沙, 與豆豉, 洋蔥, 青椒同炒, 香味四溢, 連配菜也很冶味, 是全晚最美味的一道, 不愧是招牌貨!豉油皇炒麵 $68晚飯時如果沒有澱粉質下肚, 總覺欠了些東西, 不夠完滿. 這個豉油皇炒麵, 也是店家的招牌貨, 色澤啡黃而均勻, 每條麵條也沾到豉油, 很有鑊氣, 麵條的軟硬適中, 不俗. 可惜炒麵太油膩, 吃到底時, 發現有不少油在碟底! 在講求健康飲食的年代, 還是下少一點油好一點.甜品方面, 起初侍應說只有紅豆沙, 但從廚房出來後便說綠豆沙也有, 於是我們兩樣都點來試試. 紅豆沙煲至起沙, 不太甜, 紅豆不算大粒但有豆香, 百合也很鬆化, 可惜沒甚陳皮香味, 美中不足.綠豆沙比較稀身, 同樣煲至起沙, 而且有很香的臭草味, 不過海帶甚少, 一般水準.在上次的印象中, 這店的侍應們態度不大好, 今次卻很有禮貌, 服務比上次好得多. 貴為一星米芝蓮飯店, 食物的價錢偏貴是預期之內的, 不過食物水準卻似乎比以往下降了. 就算是招牌食物, 水準也不穩定, 希望飯店能有所改善, 重拾一星米芝蓮應有的水準!…Read More

We went there because of the food commentaries from Open Rice and magazine's recommendations of its Michele's rating. We are lucky that we could book a table on the 2nd day of CNY at 6:00 pm, but we needed to leave by 8:00 pm. It was okay because we could walk to TST to watch the fireworks.The venue inside was good despite of its location on the ground floor, it would be better if its lighting could be brighter. 新斗記榮登米芝蓮一星,一道招牌的「火山石乳豬」(不就是炭爐嗎?)被視為必叫之菜。是晚飯聚當然有叫,賣相不錯,不過豬手豬腳卻不知所蹤,不知是否其他店也一樣?乳豬皮烤得還可以,皮得也夠薄,只是不夠鬆化。相比之下,北角店則烤得比較出色!粟米斑塊吃得出這道菜所用的斑塊肉質彈牙,並不是一般雪藏貨色,而且炸的酥脆乾身,味道還可以。加上粟米汁分開上碟,食的時候才淋上班塊,處理手法値得一讚。薑蔥焗桶蠔煲這道菜出乎我意料外的美國。焗蠔隻隻新鮮、肥美多汁,蠔味十足。加上吸收了薑蔥的味道,「送飯」一流!泥鯭粥這道泥鯭粥絕對是花心機之作。粥底綿滑,起了骨的泥鯭份量十足,可惜加入的果皮太多,辟除了泥鯭的腥味之餘,也蓋過泥鯭的鮮甜味道。另外,粥底略嫌太「傑」,如果可以稀一點口感更佳。蒜蓉糯米蟹飯這道蟹飯水準一般,味道太鹹,蒜蓉略嫌放得太多,蟹的清香鮮甜味道被蓋過之外,糯米也沒吸收到多少蟹味,有點失望。…Read More

今日的晚餐來到新斗記開餐,由於是周未的關係,店鋪門口已經是人山人海,就算訂着枱既人客也難免等一陣,因為實在太旺太多人.奈性不足的客人千萬不要周末前來用餐,為免影響心情,好彩我地4人可於訂枱時間取得餐抬,需然不是本店內,而在傍邊一道暗門後的小房間內,今次可以清靜地用餐!喜歡這裏的菜式重住家味,何為住家味?就是用心製作,精選材料的味道.皮蛋酸薑:糖心皮蛋.喜歡皮蛋黃入口糊糊的感覺,薑是自家制,酸甜度剛好,入口沒有那股沖口的化學酸味兒.鹵水乳鴿:乳鴿肉嫰少肥膏,鹵汁同樣咸甜適中,而且當中的香料味也不會太搶,樣樣都剛剛好.雞蓉粟米湯:雞蓉太碎太少,而且不太喜歡這種糊糊的口感.豉油王鵝腸:鵝腸爽口,其實這道菜的主角是豉油汁,甜而不咸的豉油汁撈牙菜食一流,下次真係要叫店家俾多些牙菜來撈.粟米斑塊:分開斑塊與粟米汁上枱是這裏的特色,确保斑塊不會因為汁液而變得唔脆口,這裏的粟釆斑塊外脆內軟,即係話用新鮮魚肉製作.點會唔係no 1好食呢?!咕嚕肉:最愛這道菜,炸到又脆又香的肉塊,咬落肉汁四溢,配上酸酸甜甜的醬汁一流,喜歡這裏的甜酸汁,一點都不搶味,這種酸入口舒服.乳豬:幾乎每枱都有一碟,外皮燒得超脆,唔乾又有肉香味.這種味道一吃就知是新鮮燒出來的,功夫菜,好味!煎蝦碌:都係呢句,這裏的菜式咸度剛好,蝦肉的鮮甜味才能品嚐得到.啫啫生菜煲:一道好有聲勢的菜式,可惜蝦醬不是我的"飛佛"......值得一提的是這裏飯後的甜品紅豆沙.不!因該叫紅豆糊,用料超足,,啖啖都係棉棉的微甜小赤豆,再加上蓮子,百合,做得傳统,正宗.比美好多糖水舖.吃到用心去做的小菜,但週未的繁忙令到這裏失去親切的招代,感覺搬上樓的斗記依然大排檔Feel......菜式好味,待應大老粗!!!…Read More
