這天小妹在荃灣工作,想起好耐都無食沙嗲王啦!白咖哩豬扒飯好出名,我都好鍾意食架!就上去食了!剛過了下午5:30,沒有下午茶,就直接叫左白咖哩豬扒飯。百物騰貴,佢加左價,加一後要成70幾蚊一個白咖哩豬扒飯。可惜個份量就細左,得3塊豬扒仔(每塊是切半)疊埋。如果下次想吃白咖哩豬扒飯,建議係下午茶時段食,會比較抵食d。飯就分開上,份量也是比以前少,看上去好似好多,但比較鬆散,大約半碗左右。以前D飯量係可以撈埋D汁食,而家就不能了。讚的是味道搭夠,保持到水準。香茅豬扒也夠入味。因為食完未飽,所以叫多了標準size的鹹蛋黃軟殼蟹。共有4塊(切半)的軟殼蟹,味道幾好,有鹹蛋香,但不夠均勻,一塊好鹹,一塊則無咩粉,唯有飲水調節下。可能同以前有對比,感覺而家貴左,份量又細左,同預期有d出入。不過佢既味道依然好食,又有coupon送,也是鼓勵到我再去食既。…Read More

沙嗲王是大學時代的飯堂,但畢業後就很少吃了。這天回憶起白咖哩的味道,決定去探訪一下老朋友。晚市時份餐廳的客人也不算少,要等一會才有位。跟大學時相比,餐廳的餐牌也作出了不少改動,有新加入的石鍋飯、薄餅等,但少了東南亞食品和一些海鮮小炒(我喜歡豉椒炒聖子呢...),不過總的來說選擇還是不少的,不難找到自己想食的東西。我們兩個人叫了沙嗲雞扒拉麵、白咖喱香茅豬扒飯、脆蝦棒,加了$20的餐湯和餐飲組合。最先上來的是餐湯和脆蝦棒。餐湯是忌廉湯,比普通茶記貨式好一點,加了一些蟹柳,不過餐湯一向不寄予厚望,不難喝就好了。脆蝦棒其實是蝦春卷,每條都有蝦肉,新鮮炸起,味道不會錯。之後再來沙嗲雞扒拉麵。沙嗲本身不辣,帶點甜味。湯底加入足夠的花生醫,不會糊口卻滿有花生香,雞扒有三塊都是剛炸好的,麵是幼、直身的拉麵,不會很索湯,我想應該是中式的拉麵。這碗因太快吃完忘了影相。最後白咖哩豬扒飯都登場了。一直都覺得白咖哩是有趣的東西,看起來微黃,一點不辣的樣子其實還是有一點辣度的,對我來說是輕量級,但不吃辣的朋友仔還是要邊吃邊喝水解辣。香茅豬扒也是剛炸起的,浸在白咖哩汁中格外美味,很喜歡這裡給咖哩汁都很慷慨,絕對夠撈一大碗飯。事隔多年,還是對白咖哩情有獨鍾。…Read More

不知不覺,原來沙嗲王都好多年,學生年代食係貪佢平,但大個左間唔時都會約朋友食沙嗲王,無可否認沙嗲王近年既轉型幾成功,租鋪大多係樓上以減成本,菜式多元化主打年輕人市場,食幾多送番相應coupon俾你等你下次再黎以留住顧客,怪唔得雖然地方大,但都經常爆滿。今日荃灣呢間都係咁多人,難為樓下姐姐仔咁凍仲要企係度叫number入座。家父一向喜歡中菜,又唔能夠下下去咁遠,所以其實出街食飯都幾頭痛,今日想起沙嗲王,貪其多元化,應該總有一樣岩大家食。食慣沙嗲王既朋友都知,呢度叫waiter加水、點菜都係靠個電子人肉搖控,好處係你坐到死角位偷情,但有需要時都唔會叫天不應叫地不聞,我就幾喜歡呢個搖控了。蒜茸牛油雞翼半客四隻,炸得香口且嫩,但略嫌粉厚,蒜茸牛油味適中,但再重d會更好味。自從第一次吃過之後,沙嗲牛肉粉絲煲差不多每次都點,沙嗲味適中,偏向重花生味多於沙嗲味,牛肉粉絲和金菇都足料,撈飯超正,叫得沙嗲王果然店如其名。鮑汁扒西蘭花不要期望太高,無乜鮑汁味,是否鮑汁真的吃不出來。西蘭花新鮮,再配菇菌類,吃得多重味野有碟菜是不錯的。香芒鮮蟹肉炒飯的芒果過酸,沒之前夏天時食的過癮。這個本是除白咖哩豬扒飯外的另一招牌飯,竟然會攪成咁真係可惜。也因為今天的芒果太酸,打消了我地本來諗住係度食埋甜品的念頭。蟹肉太散,搵不到也吃不到,整體黎講真係失敗到極點。越南春卷三條共六件,有點驚喜,春卷皮薄如紙,而且炸得脆,冬菇豬肉粉絲材料入味,不錯。以韓式石頭碗配日式炸雞,就是脆雞洋蔥蛋石頭碗飯。炸雞很和風,香口嫩滑,但稍嫌乾身。熟蛋洋蔥撈飯,再在上面灑上紫菜芝麻。味道對辦,但石頭碗本身做不到飯焦,整碗飯感覺乾巴巴。椒鹽脆豆腐香口得黎內裡嫩口,椒鹽夠味,喜出望外。鎮店之寶白咖哩豬扒飯水準依舊,三塊豬扒一個人食夠晒數,只是今日幾個人分有d到喉唔到肺。豬扒應該已用香茅醃過,不點咖哩都夠晒味;白咖哩香之餘帶點辣,撈飯一流。酥炸龍係新出品,簡介寫即係HALIBUT魚骨炸,可防骨質疏鬆。好多地方都九唔搭八地話食骨可防骨質疏鬆,但我記得我睇過報導,咁食骨法係補唔到d乜的。這碟酥炸龍為試食裝,唔駛十蚊已有交易,外形似薯格,炸得香口,咬落去很脆,味道似炸魚皮,但頗多油味,感覺是多吃無益。老爸吃過之後無甚抗拒,看來以後一家人食飯,唔駛餐餐酒樓中餐京川滬,又可以多一個選擇了。…Read More

假期第一天相約朋友到久久沒有到來的沙嗲王吃午餐想不到公眾假期也有set lunch供應價錢由$39至$42,包主食,雪糕/時菜+$15的台式飲品相比起$37的一碗粉麵...set lunch真是吸引得多,一行三人決定要三個set shareSet 1: 白咖哩豬扒飯,可說是沙嗲王的成名作,每次來都會有人提議點的! 這次吃的豬扒放涼了,而且多了香茅條,吃時要小心一點,但味道方面還是一如往昔~Set 2: 菠蘿雜錦炒飯,也是常點的一樣。炒飯配上菠蘿粒,炸腰果,肉鬆,雜豆和臘腸十分豐富,唯獨飯底偏濕,如果炒得乾身一點會更好吃~Set 3: 鮮茄大蝦炒意粉,本來我想點另一個-沙嗲豚肉米線的...但之前吃的豚肉很鞋...所以還是冒險點個意粉,這下子可中伏了...意粉呈彎曲狀,好像拉麵似的...一叉起是一柱的!汁料也有鮮茄味,但蝦就太雪藏了....最大的問題還是出於意粉本身跟餐原本可以選清炒時菜或雪糕的,但店員說廚房「做唔切」所以只供應雪糕...不明所以但只好接受...最後每人一杯雀X朱古力雪糕,還可以吧飲品方面,有朋友選榴槤雪香,但聽聞奶味甚重,我在對面也嗅不到榴槤味呢我和另一位朋友就點了朱古力雪香,有濃濃的朱古力味~珍珠也夠Q而不太甜,好味道呀!扣除Coupon,每人$41埋單,但朋友事後發現找錯錢,唉...死無對證啦…Read More
