吃雞煲真的會上癮!繼美味的陸陸雞煲及奇華雞煲後,老公常常哦道要再吃雞煲。一天與食友聊到元朗的爺爺雞煲其實也不錯,馬上相約飯腳來開餐了~紅棉圍厚德樓怎麼走呢?其實就在千色廣場對開,往街市方向一直走,認到這個招牌就對了。見到光猛的入口後,要上一層樓梯,然後就是偌大而且也算舒服好坐的用餐區,圓檯與沙發都有,這晚我們選坐圓檯,感覺較close。飲品是來貨,我點了少糖的夏枯草,很對味;然後等人之際,先吃八味金磚脆豆腐($48)。成品份量挺多,外層金黃香脆之極,而中間的豆腐又細又嫩,很好吃,幾乎停不了口!終於人齊,也是時間開始雞煲環節!點了爺爺招牌雞煲,大的($198),並要了少辣版本,味道香濃中帶點微甜,十分豐富惹味,十分好吃,不消一刻2斤多的雞件飛快給掃光。吃完雞件也是時間加湯,繼續part 2火鍋環節。特別點少辣,就是想火鍋環節可以吃出食物原味;而不好辣的,其實也可選點其他湯底,最便宜的皮蛋芫茜湯/蕃茄薯仔湯才不過$38起,十分抵食。首先點了即叫即炸嚮鈴($38),成品不是來貨,而是新鮮即炸而起,油分並不多,心思值得一讚。老公超愛鵝腸,難得這裡有新鮮肥鵝腸($78),當然要大快朵頤了!我不吃鵝腸沒試,但見他吃得十分暢快,應該也值推介。繼鵝腸還點了極品豬大腸($38),簡直要高呼膽固醇萬歲了!不過我又是沒吃。我嘛,還是專攻牛類好了,反正這裡的白切牛坑腩($58)水準很不錯,肉質腍香鬆化,不妨放在鍋中久煮,帶來炆牛腩的香濃感。另外手切本地肥牛拼牛頸脊($198)也很不錯,兩款都是靚貨,肉味香濃、厚薄適中,一碟兼得兩款靚牛,心滿意足矣~四個人吃,也來一份手打四寶丸($78),剛好每人分到每樣一款丸子。最喜歡一定要數牛丸,肉濃又彈牙;鯪魚滑也挺特別,鮮蝦及墨魚丸就有點近似。也很愛吃爺爺冰豆腐($28),在吸收微辣微甜、滋味豐富的湯底後,變得十分引人入勝,見大家不太感興趣,由我包辦下3-4件來!最近想多吃蔬菜,當晚也一連點了唐生菜、菜心及油麥菜($22@)。三款菜都很新鮮,經微辣湯底烹煮後爽甜中帶惹味,十分開胃,吃了很多。頂級午餐肉($32)也是打邊爐不能少的項目,總要來幾片才感滿足。這裡的出品厚薄適中,吃得更暢快了。最後還點了鮮蝦雲吞($46)及稻庭烏冬($18@),前者帶大量木耳絲,很爽口;後者煙韌美味,又令人吃不停口。吃得又飽又滿足,埋單也不用人均$300,的確幾好味又抵食,會推介給元朗區的街坊~…Read More

天氣轉冷,便向朋友提出想吃雞煲的念頭,打算圍在火爐保暖。想知反被友人建議去元朗吃最正宗的雞煲,在機緣巧合之下,便到了元朗 -- 爺爺雞煲皇 吃一個正宗雞煲。還記得當晚溫度只有10度以下,在天寒地凍之下,本身為了節省數元,已省卻乘坐輕鐵的決定。(最終才發覺是愚蠢,因為店員口中得知,西鐵轉輕鐵是免費的) 當晚我作為遲到者,已經很急趕地從西鐵站快步走去目的地。到了附近,便被大大的門牌吸引,所以目的地很容易找的。到達的時候,當時食客已不少,亦聞到很香的雞煲味,令變得十分肚餓呢!當晚點的是: 爺爺招牌雞煲 ($198) 少辣如舊地,雞煲先將雞煮熟後,然後才加水變成火窩。將雞放進口中,吃得很香的辣味,雖然不太辣,但辣得很刺激,接著是一點點咸味。當中很香的薑蔥味,令整個雞煲變得十分可口。如是地,把一大半個雞煲吃光後,店員在詢問之下,便加湯,而變成一個雞煲,緊隨的配料都隨即而上。除了火窩之外,值得一讚的是,爺爺雞煲的刺身不太貴,故在店員推介之下,便點了刺身拼盤(大,$178)當大包括三文魚,劍魚,北奇貝,希靈魚,牡丹蝦等... 十分多,與平日放題比起,水準差不多,亦十分厚切! 值得一提的是劍魚腩,平日比較少吃劍魚腩,而這裡吃下,十分新鮮,放進口中的味道不錯,帶有一點點鮮味。點了配料: 手切本地牛頸脊 ($188)牛作為火窩的精髓,牛的肉質會直接影響整晚火窩的水平。幸好地,爺爺雞煲的牛肉質不錯,脂肪比例挺好,而且用了牛頸脊,故口感十分好。加上,牛肉味在吸收整個雞煲湯底之下,十分香。四寶丸 -- 墨魚丸,蝦丸,鯪魚丸及手打牛根丸。在店員推介之下,指丸乃店內出名的菜之一,故便點了四寶丸。結果,沒有令我們失望,蝦丸的蝦十分多,像吃蝦水餃一樣,十分多蝦的肉身。牛根丸吃得出是手打,因為吃進口時,肉汁在口中濺出,像以前小時吃醬爆牛丸似的。而肉質十分彈牙,充滿牛味,在8粒入面,我偷偷忍不住吃了4粒。 (哈哈,幸好朋友發現不了)總結: 一晚好的雞煲對於日後的工作打上了強心針。而爺爺雞煲除了雞煲外,還有其他熱食,包括小炒,炒飯等,所以可以滿足不同的口味。下次再來元朗,會再次Encore! …Read More
