其實所謂嘅沙田三寶係香港嚟講都只係平凡的食物。通街都可以買到和食到。唔會好似我上次食懷舊菜式金錢雞一樣要去某些舊酒樓才有的。但因為朋友想去特色地方,所以就帶佢去呢間要「特登」去的地方。因為這裡沒有巴士線直接到達目的地。坐火車都要行一段路。這裡有幾個門面的。由天光搵到天黑😝開始進入一個復古的時光隧道這裡的餐牌都會介紹食物緣故。那些名人曾經讚過都會寫在餐牌上。第一寶-豆腐 其實都係普通炸豆腐。和深水涉那些排檔無咩分別。唔點都唔覺可惜這個所謂的素菜。賣相唔吸引。菜式普通都根本一般素菜店都可以做到。還說名星之愛。超失望⋯這個就真係值得讚一讚。菠蘿新鮮、咕嚕肉剛炸好。熱辣辣又唔入口。菠蘿真係一個奇妙嘅生果。沙田二寶-沙田乳鴿這裡有三種煮法。我地只點了兩款。每款兩隻。因為人數唔多。其實都剛好夠吃。兩款都值得一試。不過價錢又真係幾進取。試一次應該就真係夠😅乾炒牛河唔推介。因為真係同普通茶餐廳質素一樣。但價錢就比較進取⋯炸大腸朋友稱很好吃。因為以前的師傅做法都是這樣。沙田三寶最後一寶-沙田雞粥。大大煲很抵食。細煲都夠四至五人食。煲粥很有雞味和落足料,值得一試。今次的經歷都幾有趣。因為原來酒家里有鸚鵡、孔雀🦚這些動物。還有一些打咭位。店內都放了很多報到和名星相。雖然現在已經唔再風光。但都算係一個很「活」的時代見證。…Read More

這晚有親友生日,年近歲晚都怕難訂位,結果即日訂到這店,心裡已有點不妙感覺,一行六人,七點到達,點了下列菜式:紅燒乳鴿,嚴格來說應該稱為炸乳鴿,入口皮算香脆,但肉質較鞋,炸得已老火偏乾,肉汁不足。豉油皇乳鴿, 入口鴿肉鬆軟,嫩滑可口,肉汁豐富,但味略濃,算是水準不錯之作,但估不到竟是全晚的唯一佳作。炸大腸,用上新鮮大腸炸,皮炸得頗脆口,較為薄身的炸得透,入口咬落脆而爽口,但可惜部份的腸膏太厚而炸得不夠干乾,入口尚肥,咬落滿口油。椒鹽豆腐,無特別,兼且皮不夠脆,也不夠熱,入口內裏尚算滑,而味道就很淡,食不到椒鹽味。沙窩古法梅菜扣肉,扣肉用五香粉醃過,非常夠味,與一般客家菜的梅菜扣肉桐比,這個比較乾身,但入口也夠淋軟,可惜梅菜小一點。沙茶菜芯牛肉,沙菜醬汁很惹味,牛肉入口尚算嫩滑,菜芯就好一般,有老有嫩,沒有揀過。西煎軟檸雞,是全晚最失敗的菜,雞肉醮粉炸,做得非常乾,入口如同噬樹皮,茨汁嚴重不足,成個菜淡而無味。…Read More
