話說某飯局中薯爺提到想食燒鵝,但深覺中環名牌「鏞記」嘅水準已不大如前,名廚好友聽到即推介老店後人創辦嘅「甘棠燒鵝」。真係冇諗過電話一打就通,完全唔似坊間傳聞般咁難訂位喎!餐店位於銅鑼灣南華會一樓保齡球場內,會所四周都貼有指示,非常清晰。有一點大家要留意,經保齡球場入口雖然係近啲,但係就要行上三十幾級樓梯。行動不便的話,建議喺遠少少嘅體育大廈(即禮仁小學對面)度入,嗰邊先有𨋢搭。中菜廳個門面十分起眼,以鵝形繪成嘅「甘」字標誌可愛又到題。接待及收銀處身後透出光鮮企理嘅廚房,燒味部嘅師傅當真忙個不停!傍晚六點全店滿座,早咗半個鐘嘅XO仔要等到六點半先有得埋位,幸好在場嘅經理Joyce姐姐非常好人,得悉細佬要為長輩們搵定個𨋢同洗手間嘅位置,仲唔嫌煩咁親自帶路。光猛嘅用餐大堂其實唔算太噪,主要都係保齡球場嘅雜聲多。六人用餐有最靚嘅一號枱坐,空間感都好足。桌上擺有齊備嘅自用及公用餐具,仲有個轉盤。如果想要多啲私人空間的話,客人可以要求訂房;細房可容納上十二人,大房則可容納上十六人,最低消費為$750/位。九頁餐牌只有中文版,其中瀨粉七點已經賣哂,建議有意食的話最好乜都訂定。餐牌最後一頁寫明茶錢$18/位,開瓶費$100/樽,咁又唔係好過份。甘一刀叉燒 肥燶($210/例牌):厚切嘅叉燒好靚好腍,外皮燶得黎好香,層肥膏直頭溶喺口,靚靚媽咪牙力唔好都食得到。松花皮蛋配酸薑($16/半隻):已預先開邊嘅皮蛋極之溏心,半透明嘅蛋白軟彈嘅同時,蛋黃香濃潤滑,高質美味。燒鵝下莊($220):燒鵝係就係比「鏞記」好食,但唔代表佢正!燒鵝皮層上枱之時最脆,無奈皮下脂肪多,脾肉都唔夠鬆,肉質帶點兒韌。甘棠薑蔥鵝油撈麵($58):簡單嘅鵝油撈麵超級爽嫩,食落一啲都唔油,輕巧非常。百花金腿釀新鮮鳳翼($768/半打):釀滿蝦膠嘅雞翼脹卜卜,個擺盤賣相就有啲奇怪,小弟轉咗幾次隻碟都唔知邊個角度影相先正確。雞皮尚算柔軟有彈性,可惜個百花餡就只得個膠,冇乜蝦味,薯爺狠批此味釀雞翼不知所謂,絕對唔值$128/隻:(!甘棠一品鵝雜煲($100/位):第一次食一品鵝煲係喺「鏞記」間會所餐廳「嚐真」,當時食齊鵝嘅所有部份,而且每款同樣細膩可口,印象尤深!「甘棠燒鵝」個淨雜版本明顯差距甚大,估計原因係時間管理得唔好,師傅疑似一次過煮哂所有材料,而並非逐層去煮。相片可清楚睇到煲品嘅油層,入面嘅鵝翼唔夠腍,應該要煮耐啲;鵝腸唔夠肥所以偏韌;嚡嚡地嘅鵝肝就過熟所以硬實;最好食只有滑嘟嘟又夠厚身嘅鵝紅。涼瓜炒苦瓜($168):經理姐姐極力推薦嘅招牌菜以兩種「半生瓜」炒出,一深一淺;深色嗰款個味甘啲同濃啲,淺色嗰款則清甜清爽啲,最緊要係菜式勁啱席上嘅老人家口味!隱藏於南華會嘅「甘棠燒鵝」環境開揚通爽,綜合六人意見,價格偏高嘅食物質素評分會俾三點五分,屬OK與笑臉之間,但由於服務生態度誠懇,成功提升咗晚餐嘅享樂,希望XO仔一篇微不足道嘅好評可以為小店鼓勵一番。…Read More

金錢雞、燒鵝、甘一刀肥差燒、大班差燒、涼瓜炒苦瓜、西洋菜煲生魚、湯瀨一碗,這個菜單,真正我的口胃。是的,是膩了一點,但襯健康還可以,多點運動懺悔便是。甘棠燒鵝開在南華會,據聞「甘」是中環鏞記家族的其中一位,「棠」是曾經主理鏞記的「棠哥」。一般我對故事背景興趣不大,好吃的誰煮誰理根本不重要。以前去鏞記,甚麼都好吃,除了燒鵝。想當年我經常不明白,馳名燒鵝的鏞記燒鵝最不好食,這是甚麼道理?還是因為我不是富豪大款所以好吃的我沒份?知道甘棠是鏞記的人出來開的,起初其實有點卻步,但朋友說不去便走寶,所以就去試一試。嘩!上面寫的幾味,每一樣都頂級好味,如果與鏞記是同出一脈,絕對可以替鏞記「洗底」!燒鵝好食,不用形容。差燒呢,「大班差」是正常做法的那種,好味,但不是未吃過的味道。「甘一刀」較肥,我就非常喜歡。夠肥美,差燒頂層刻意燒燶,肉味香味滿瀉,極品!涼瓜炒苦瓜原來是生炒熟炒兩種炒法放在一碟,喜歡吃苦瓜的朋友一定要試。這餐廳枱不多,晚上walk-in應該不用試,有心便預早訂座。反而中午比較疏落,午餐來一碗燒鵝瀨粉加兩件差燒一碗靚湯,一生何求!強烈推薦。…Read More
