大埔一向少有越南菜,這個週末終於有時間一試新開的「越男仔」。越南仔在其他區都有分店,選址在大埔我們真的有福了。一餐廳主打越南風味fusion菜,價錢略昂貴打頭陣先點一個海膽手撕雞檬紙卷,這個配搭夠新顆了吧。米紙卷裹上粉絲,上面鋪上海膽。吃的時候先將有海膽那面放舌底,先感受海膽的清甜。加上酸汁酸酸甜甜,開胃至極必點的還有這個。原條魷魚釀咖哩炒飯,魷魚用燒汁烤好,釀入咖哩飯,一口彈牙魷魚🦑再配上炒得乾身的米粒,真的很美味輕鬆K.O一整盤魷魚!勁惹味,怕不夠飽再點一個手撕雞檬粉味,手撕雞看得出用人手撕開,保留肉質口感!抵讚。雞肉用上少許胡椒調味,微辛更開胃湯底加入椰汁,充滿椰香味,東南亞風味料理濃郁。餐廳更供應特色五色冰,滿滿配料加上椰汁,口感可惜是日有點不適,和凍飲無緣,轉而點了一個香茅薑蜜,大大條香茅超重香茅味!冬天飲應該更正^_^…Read More

越男仔雖然已經擁有數間分店,倒是最近才發現它在大埔亦開設了新店,位於食店林立的昌運中心地下,而店舖所在舖位更正是前彩虹甜品屋,雖然門口並非面向大街,相對而言較為隱蔽,但其招牌翠綠色門面顯而易見;餐廳面積不算太大,故座位空間亦相對狹小。 午市除了提供價廉物美的套餐外,亦有自選主食供客人自由配搭湯底和配料;而晚市餐牌的菜式則更加多元化,不過部分餐點會較午市昂貴。雖然我們光顧時正值午市時段,但向店員查詢後得知我們同樣可以點選晚市餐牌上的菜式。 牙車快 ($68)牙車快其實是一道經典越南菜式——椰菜雞絲沙律,在越南話當中,「牙」代表雞而「車快」則是代表沙律;沙律汁主要以酸汁、魚露、薄荷葉和九層塔調配而成,味道酸香開胃。除了椰菜、紅蘿蔔、青瓜、芽菜和花生等傳統材料外,這裡的牙車快更加入了柚子,令沙律更加清新。 海膽手撕雞檬紙卷 ($118) 坊間大多數越南餐廳只會供應大蝦米紙卷或豬頸肉米紙卷等大路款式,而這裡的米紙卷卻相當創新,像是這款海膽手撕雞米紙卷一樣將日式食材海膽融入米紙卷,面層舖上滿滿當當的炙燒海膽和炸蒜片,而中間除了米粉和蔬菜之外更加入手撕雞,層次豐富。 燒吞拿魚柚子檬紙卷 ($108) 另一款特色米紙卷面層舖上芝麻燒吞拿魚、沙律醬及柚子,不過底層米紙卷餡料只有米粉及少量蔬菜,味道清淡,而層次就顯然會較海膽手撕雞米紙卷遜色。 招牌椒鹽軟殻蟹 ($108) 大量炸蒜及辣椒與大牌檔避風塘小炒有異曲同工之妙,辛辣惹味但略嫌鹹度過高,而且軟殻蟹粉漿偏厚,香脆度亦不足。 金菠蘿焗海鮮紅米炒飯 ($108) 炒飯以原個菠蘿呈上,面層更放滿肉鬆和大量炸海鮮如炸魷魚及大蝦,份量之大絕對不容小覷,雖然菠蘿肉偏酸但更印證了是用上新鮮菠蘿而非罐頭糖水菠蘿;不過個人認為炸物與軟殻蟹有同樣問題——酥脆度不足,而且炒飯未算十分乾爽。 越男仔窩蛋生牛肉牛骨湯河 ($88) 這裡的牛骨湯據稱用上數十斤牛骨廿四小時熬製而成,湯頭不會過鹹或油膩,牛肉肉質鮮嫩不乾韌,河粉份量更是多得足以供二至三人享用。 窩蛋烤牛肉生菜包 ($88) 先將鮮雞蛋蛋黃刺破讓蛋漿混和碎牛肉,口感更加濃稠綿密,牛肉脂香豐腴油潤,以生菜包裹同吃正好中和油膩感。 以同區餐廳比較而言,越男仔的價格固然並非最為低廉而是屬於中價水平;部分菜式尤其是炸物方面如椒鹽軟殻蟹固然有進步空間,不過個人認為整體不論份量、款式或味道而言都絕對對得起其價錢,亦是坊間少見有特色的越南餐廳,將不少創新元素加入傳統越南菜當中,令越南菜顯得不再單調乏味、千篇一律。…Read More
