沙田咸雞粥 (Chicken Congee) $42 The congee was cooked to perfection. The consistency was thick but still sloppy. Every single rice grain is full of rich chicken flavor. There is a lot of chicken oil on top of the congee as well, you could definitely tell it has been cooked for a long time for all that delicious flavor. Adding white pepper is a must when eating congee and the spice really balanced well with the oiliness. The portion was great and very filling too. You could also get a Rice roll or Twisted doughnut with a congee for $58. There was a lot of chicken pieces as well, the meat was not dry but definitely not moist as well, as it is chicken breast and back. Still tender enough to be pulled apart and the flavor not too altered so the natural chicken taste was very prominent. The chicken skin was very fatty and delicious with the congee 😋. I highly recommend this Chicken Congee either for breakfast or lunch or even a snack as the flavors itself is absolutely delicious.
