2nd time coming here! Nemuro Sashimi Rice Bowl Set (根室丼定食) $158 This time I asked for warm rice as last time the rice was cold and hard. The rice this time was much easier to mix but some parts were still hard 😔. This Sashimi rice bowl had 2 pieces of salmon, 1 piece of seared tuna belly, 1 sweet shrimp and 1 tsp of salmon roe. The salmon was plump and tender, very fresh but sadly not enough as the pieces were quite thin. The seared tuna belly was obviously not freshly seared as it was not hot. However the meat was still tender and flavorful but tastes like normal tuna and not tuna belly. Also could use more as there was only 1 small piece. The sweet shrimp was very skinny but sweet. The head also had a lot of shrimp paste which was very fresh and flavorful. The shrimp was only worth 2 small bites but both was delicious. The salmon roe was delicious when eaten with the rice as it gave a nice pop of texture and taste. Very fresh and not spoiled. Overall, this sashimi rice bowl needs more sashimi to balance out with the amount of rice it had. They also need to improve their rice as it is consistently hard but asking for warm definitely helps. Taste is not bad at all between the sashimi and rice with soy sauce and wasabi. This set came with 2 appetizers and this time it was pickled vegetables and seasoned cucumbers. The pickled vegetables were very thin and sour, could have been thicker for more crunch. The seasoned cucumber was not spicy albeit the appearance but had a good salty flavor. 住大埔的朋友有一個福利,就是擁有科學園這個舒服的地方。閒時可以跑步或單年,又可以相約朋友情人到此用餐,享受一下寧靜的氣氛。是日跟男朋友慶祝7週年,特地選擇科學園這個地方,可以擁有海景,又可以遠離人煙。餐廳選擇了一間叫「花見月」的日本餐廳,因為見OpenRice食評都不錯,而且日本菜又較低卡路里,所以就決定一試。餐廳門外光明簡潔,座位眾多入面採用日系設計,沿用原木餐桌椅,加上落地玻璃,甚有北歐感覺打開餐單,看見有定食,包含沙律、刺身、主菜,價錢親民,二話不說先點一個「北海丼定食」。食物用木餐盤盛載,非常貫徹日本文化。定食入面的三品刺身包含三文魚、甜蝦及罕見的帆立貝,令人驚喜三者皆肥美鮮甜,為晚餐打開序幕主角「北海丼」則有三文魚腩、甜蝦、海膽、帆立貝這些較貴價的食材。份量不多不少。對女生來說份量剛好。海膽與帆立貝鮮甜無比,的確有勾起我在北海道工作的日子:)男友點的「根室丼」同樣以北海道其中一個地方取名,內容包括吞拿魚拖羅、甜蝦、三文魚腩及魚子。拖羅由於是腩位,油脂香,入口即化,為整個丼飯點晴小食方面最出色為「西京鱈魚」,西京其實指西京味噌,是醬料的名稱,主要用白味噌做成醃料。燒好後的銀鱈魚表面金黃,魚肉帶有淡淡白味噌的甘甜味。加上鱈魚肉質極嫩滑,一道美食就此誕生再來洋風燒帶子,帶子新鮮,輕輕用火炙方法燒成微焦香,內裡仍保持嫩滑。配合沙律菜更顯清新,好適合這種炎熱天氣享用。最後一個「芥末軟殼蟹」,軟殼蟹炸得香脆乾身,配上加上wasabi的沙律醬,雖有輕微嗆喉感,但又達致刺激味蕾效果,成功讓我在這個令人沒食慾的夏天,食慾大增…Read More
