買完滷水鵝,便馬上走到對面的「祥興記」。去荃灣的次數不算頻繁,可是每次經過川龍街,「祥興記」的門前總是人山人海,這次終有機會一試。以為「祥與記」只有設置在舖外的一排吧檯,靠近了才發現店內也設有座位,那便不用站在街上進食,但座位又如何編排,一下子湧現了很多問題!收銀員看到我們的惘然,更以耐心的態度逐一解答我們的「無聊」問題!購買好所需的食物,拿著票根,我們可內進並自行選擇座位。店內雖然不大,但設計還是不馬虎。喜歡這道紅色的仿磚牆,還掛上上海的照片,挺有懷舊的味道!台灣金柑蜜大抵是那種即沖的濃縮劑,帶有淡淡的金柑味道,帶點酸甜,要求不高的話,用來解渴消滯也不錯!似曾相識的粉絲,勾起多年前到上海旅行的回憶!同樣是咖喱湯底,粉絲配搭著豆腐卜和兩片薄薄的牛肉。咖喱味鮮明,還濃得有點嗆喉,整體帶著較重的口味,說不清是清真或是那種口味的咖喱,滿足感不大,但勝在熱燙的溫度,可立即制止肚子的咆哮,趕快把它吞下!最吸引我的招牌生煎包終於端來了,脹鼓鼓的外層帶有如雀斑的黑白芝麻,還有零星的蔥花,賣相討人歡心!相信剛煎出來的生煎包,熱度非淺,還是待稍稍放涼後才進食!首先小心奕奕地在生煎包的外層咬了一個小口,測試了溫度,然後才慢慢地大口的擴展出去。外皮既香脆,又不失鬆軟,口感不錯。當沾到餡內的豬肉和肉汁時,心裡的喜悅便來,可是這刻才發現功虧一簣!剎那間,餡內的湯汁便如河水般流出,可能肚子太餓的關係,忘記用湯匙盛著生煎包進食,以致浪費了不少香甜湯汁。豬肉餡包得飽滿,質感偏向幼細軟滑,總體來說真招牌生煎包的水準真的不錯!生煎包的底部,呈現黃金焦香的色澤,怪不得入口非常香脆可口。招牌生煎包售28元4隻,平均一隻為7元,以這不錯的質量來說,在香港不是隨處可見,估計在一般的上海食肆起碼要賣上40元多元,「祥興記」的性價比較高。原來還有套餐和下午茶餐,「祥興記」價格親民,生煎包既美味又達到不錯的水準,怪不見老是擠滿了人!現在懂了,想念生煎包的時候,我會跑到「祥興記」。…Read More

剛在鍋貼大王吃完上海菜感到不太滿足,特地走到附近一間一直很想吃的生煎包名店填填肚子。當日是平日的下午茶時段,所以客人不多,店外宣傳的店員嬸嬸非常落力,她還說生煎包剛新鮮出爐呢!我們迅速點完生煎包後便入店了。店內的環境不大,我們坐在較近牆的位置,牆上掛有很多舊相片,其中有介紹生煎包是以前上海的必吃早點。這裡除了生煎包外,還有一些小食可供選擇,不過我們的興趣都不大。其實進店不久,店員便送上熱辣辣的招牌生煎包($28/4隻)。baka說這裡的生煎包是patpat向上很特別,我也覺得賣相很可愛。:)生煎包煎得金黃,上面有芝麻和蔥花,很吸引。據經驗,生煎包不宜大口吃,不然會弄得肉汁四濺且燙舌頭。我先沾醋,然後從上端較薄的皮小口咬下去,生煎包溫暖不算太熱,可以看到裡面有滿滿的湯汁和渾圓的肉餡,接著慢慢吸掉那鮮美的湯汁,湯汁味道濃郁!而我最喜歡那既軟又脆的外皮,上端的外皮很軟薄,而到底部則比較厚和脆,咬起來很有層次感,而baka則喜歡味道鮮濃的湯汁,整體來說很好味!:)值得推介!…Read More

自己一向愛吃像小楊般的上海生煎包,可惜之前一直在香港吃不到正宗的上海生煎包,直到最近獲公司安排到荃灣上培訓課程,終於可以順路一試這間評價不錯的生煎包店。這天放工時約六點到達,在對面的行人路已經看到不少人在等待外賣的生煎包。到達店外隔著玻璃看著店員在煎生煎包,看到他們所使用的用具和生煎包的外形都跟上海看見的沒兩樣,再加上門外的等取外賣的食客,相信店方會有一定的水準。店家採取半自助的形式經營,食客要在店門的收銀處先點食物,再拿著點菜單到店內找個座位坐下,食物便會由店員送上。可能是時間尚早的關係,這時店內的食客不多,各人都可坐得比較鬆動一點,不過店外等候外賣的人則駱驛不絕。等了幾分鐘的時間後,一碟四件的生煎包便送到我的面前。從外表看,的確是跟小楊的十分相似。剛煎好的生煎包熱辣辣的,的確很吸引,不過吃的時候也不能太心急,否則很易燙傷舌頭。看一看生煎包的底部正正是上海式的有摺的部份,輕輕的咬開一個小孔先散熱,一看包內的湯汁很多,而且也很清澈和油份不多。先喝一點湯汁,味道帶著豬肉的鮮味,比起小楊的來的清鮮,味道不錯。再說生煎包的皮,這裡的皮吃起來也算很薄,但就欠了一點彈性和煙韌的口感,這方面就比小楊差了一點點。整體來說,這個生煎包煎很夠香脆,湯汁也算鮮味,而內裡的肉餡吃來也有不錯的豬肉味和醬油的味道,水準也有小楊的七八成,亦可說是自己在香港吃過最接近上海風味的生煎包了。除了生煎包外,這天也點了一杯老上海烏梅汁來喝。這杯烏梅汁喝起來酸甜度剛好,入口感覺清新也解渴,也是個不錯也配合的飲品。…Read More

入院禁食前,選擇在祥興記吃早餐。之前傍晚時段路過,門外店內滿滿都是人,今次因為早,所以只有一兩枱客人。餐廳裝修非常簡單,最突出莫過於店內那面紅磚牆。不過新簇簇的紅磚牆配上一張張老舊的上海照片,似乎有點突兀。換一幅感覺破舊的牆,也許更能突出黑白照的震撼力。祥興記之所以矚目,其中一個主因,是因為該店請到曾於上海馳名的小楊生煎任職的師傅來幫忙,製包技術和工具都是原汁原味,令人期待。該店採自助形式,收銀處在門口,先買票後入座。店方提供的食物及飲品種類繆繆可數,今次試的正是人氣王「招牌生煎包」。買票前,特意望了廚房的平底鍋一眼,確認有足夠包子才買,不然的話,分分鐘要等半小時才有叧一盆出爐。詳興記的生煎包形態飽滿,摺口朝下,白色的包底朝上,驟眼看真的有點像饅頭,難怪在上海有「生煎饅頭」之稱。在底部的摺口,每顆均同樣是12摺,底部煎至金黃色,硬香酥脆,那種硬底皮,顏色和口感都有點像煎午餐肉,我非常喜歡。生煎包裡的豬肉餡鮮嫩帶嚼勁,咀嚼的時候除了可以嚐到表面的黑白芝麻和蔥花的香味,還可以嚐到內餡的湯汁。吃的時候要小心的咬,並以湯匙來接,以免爆湯,濺了自己一身肉汁。有些人會拿上海生煎包及台灣水煎包做比較,其實兩者系出同源,做法大同小異,都是利用平底鍋將包子排滿後加水,然後蓋上鍋蓋直至水分收乾,再打開蓋加油後,閂蓋再煎至包子鼓起。不過印象中,台灣的包子摺口朝上居多,形態大小也有點差異。飲品方面完全不合格,粟米汁和豆漿的味道都非常人工化,粟米汁竟然有點像玉米濃湯星球的爆谷味,而豆漿則很明顯用豆漿粉精沖調出來,營養價值大打折扣之餘,又擔心可能含有添加劑,感覺非常不健康。服務方面,店員態度稍嫌粗魯而且帶敵視,感覺就像我是來偷師的間諜一樣。自問樣子不似可疑人物,當日雖然有在店內拍照但自問沒有騷擾他人,也沒追拍什麼商業機密,不過就算是不准拍照其實也可以開口說明,這樣的氣氛就算味道再好,客人心𥚃也難受。那一刻,什麼肉香、油香、蔥香、芝麻香統統都被我拋諸腦後...如果我跟他們說我是米豬蓮特派員,他們會否對我寬容一點(笑)?…Read More

早前趁去開荃灣,順道一訪祥興記上海生煎包。平日甚少在這區出沒,只好跟著Google Map找,原來川龍街不難找,祥興記是間corner shop,店外有小巴站,附近人流看來很多。店的一半做了半開放式廚房,路人可透過玻璃看到廚房的運作,而另一半的鋪面就做了餐廳供堂食用膳。這裡的食物種類不多,除了招牌生煎包外,還有3款湯類的食品,分別為清湯底的蘿蔔湯及上海雙檔,和較濃味的咖喱牛肉粉絲湯。此外,亦有提供4款飲品,豆漿,玉米汁,臺灣金桔汁和老上海烏梅汁。這裡的各款食物和飲品中,定價最貴的是生煎包$23,其他的食物都是$15-$18,飲品都是$8-$9,定價親民。這裡的運作是先在門外落單及付款,堂食的話店員會安排店內坐位。不過這夜所見,一半以上的order都是外賣的。我一場來到,當然要來客招牌生煎包($23)啦,再加杯凍臺灣金桔汁($9)。店內座位頗逼,不過環境勝在光猛,地方打理得乾淨企理,衛生情況理想。紅磚牆上掛了不少老上海的黑白相片,佈置有心思。我的凍臺灣金桔汁先到。撇除顏色黃得有點人工化,味道酸酸甜甜,用來解渴還是不錯的。再等了一會,店員把熱辣辣的生煎包送到!生煎包一客有4隻,每隻size比一隻湯匙大些少,上面鋪滿芝麻及撒灑了些蔥花,單看賣相已經覺得頗吸引。咬開生煎包時真的要小心,裡面的湯包很熱很燙嘴。皮的確薄,而底部,即包的接口位,煎得金黃脆口。餡料的豬肉肉質頗嫩滑,味道鮮美,雖然肉香不算太濃。生煎包蘸著醋一齊食,味道不錯呢。轉眼就食完這4隻生煎包了,滿足!離開時看到師傅們還在不停手在做包,用新鮮材料加新鮮即做的包點,其實不易會難食。這裡的生煎包雖好食,但又不至於好食得我會專誠走來荃灣。如果我下次再來這區的話,絕對有興趣順道再來食過。:)…Read More

上週五已慕名而來,惟六時許店員已稱「冇飽賣喇」,轉身便去今天與女朋友仔同放閒日,看完西洋電影Now you see me後再來看看原來只有幾款食品供應,招牌生煎包、蘿蔔湯、咖哩牛肉粉絲湯、上海雙檔另外就是四款飲料除蘿蔔湯外其餘各點了一份最快來的竟是生煎包,還要是一仆一碌,不如相中般整齊但店員在後提點,建議我們先輕咬一口,用膠羹盛著湯,否則一口咬下,湯則狂噴輕則盪傷自己,重則禍及旁人果然,湯如泉湧、如水塘、如狂流可媲美小籠包的湯我想我只在南小館吃過這麼多湯汁的生煎包而這兒的只售$23/四個湯多,香濃,熱盪肉鮮,皮薄,底脆夫復何求咖哩牛肉粉絲湯牛肉薄薄一片,不太硬,惟有點兒像是雪過,味道不太濃咖哩其實感覺與上海式有點兒格格不入即是,如果叫小朋友從四項東西指出不同的,肯定會指這個 上海雙檔有件類似生筋又像魚腐的東西,釀有菜與肉另一條似是腐皮又近乎豆腐的卷物,亦釀有菜與肉查問下得知,是西洋菜及豬肉類似生筋物體就是生筋,而條狀物體則為百葉烏梅汁,味道像紫貝天葵有點梅味,不太點,微酸女朋友仔不喝了,因她認為有點兒像涼茶很多師傅默默耕耘一大鍋包子…Read More
