其實定期我們都會去元朗,因為踢一些石地聯賽,今天也不例外。踢完之後大家約定了食餐勁!所以就踢完澡個靚涼就出發。今次去呢間爺爺雞煲皇,位於紅棉圍,姐係千色店附近。係大棠路站一出行5分鐘就到,都幾方便。不過我已經餓到手震,所以一坐低雞煲都未叫,就問有什麼即食,所以點了個三文魚刺身。雞煲黎之前亦都比左一大堆配料給我們呢!!大大碗,毫不孤寒!!之後主角上場秘製爺爺招牌雞煲真係好正,叫左個雞中辣,都幾麻,食落亦有雞味,夠彈牙, 辣比較主觀,我個人覺得辣得剛剛好,但我朋友都係覺得好不夠辣。同完侍應講完之後,真係有一碗秘制辣油,都好香在雞煲店食三文魚總不能要求太高吧。其他食物都不錯,一分錢兩分貨…Read More

近來雞煲非常大熱,自上一次的經驗之後,筆者近來都愛上相約朋友吃雞煲,因此整個冬天嚷著要試吃不同的雞煲店。今次難得豬朋狗朋友號召到元朗試新的雞煲食店,下班就跑到位置於元朗大棠路附近的爺爺雞煲皇。甫抵餐廳,看裝潢感到餐廳很有空間感,每張食桌之間都有一定距離,不會感到擠迫,甚加分的。談到吃雞煲的經驗,筆者絕對是初哥,食物方面唯有交給朋友發板吧,這裡賣的是秘製川味雞煲,店員建議小辣就好了,火鍋料選擇都蠻多,稍稍看過點餐紙,朋友就像專家般點了幾份火鍋料。隨他的,反正火鍋料什麼我都愛吃。原本打算只吃雞煲火鍋,但竟然看到鄰座的食客再吃刺身拼盤!所謂"隔離飯香",又跟店員多點一客大刺身拼盤!拼盤有三文魚、劍魚腩、甘海老、櫻花魷魚等刺身,賣相非常鮮艷,沒想到這裡的刺身原來都很新鮮,亦為大件厚切。筆者最喜歡的是劍魚腩刺身,口感豐腴、魚香濃郁,入口有即溶之感  未幾店員呈上大大盤的川味雞煲,份量相當驚人!除了原隻鮮雞,煲內放置滿滿莞茜、洋蔥、乾蔥頭等,正合筆者口味!加上帶點點麻辣的醬汁,不會太油又不會一味死辣。而醬汁亦很快地滲透到熱騰騰的雞肉內,雞肉口感甚為滑嫩,合4人之力,不消20分鐘就吃完了。店員即時在我們面前拌了幾下,濃濃香味即時溢出近拍一下雞"玉照"隨後當然要火鍋一下吧,雞煲放湯之後成為濃香的火鍋湯底,配料選擇方面牛頸脊、手打三/四寶丸少不了,朋友亦同場加映了火鍋時間最match的皇帝菜。以手切牛頸脊作火鍋配料簡直是穩膽之選,這裡的牛頸脊油花分布均勻,帶陣陣的牛香,口感亦夠軟腍。值得一提的是,平日火鍋點相同質素的牛頸脊可能要花上三百元,但這裡大份的也只消一百八十多元,很划算。而手打三寶丸為墨魚丸、蝦丸及鯪魚肉丸,彈牙又很足料,可見師傅製作手打丸時需要不少的功夫,下次除了三寶丸外,還是要多點牛根丸哩。捧著肚子走,再開動第二個胃到附近吃糖水。***整體而言,雖然餐廳新開張,但於用料不錯及煮法方面經驗老到,因此不比其他人氣雞煲店遜色。最後要一讚的是這裡的員工很會主動幫忙,因此可以揀日再戰…Read More
