Cafe食物大都離不開All Day Breakfast、三文治、意粉、窩夫,而款式及食材配搭亦千篇一律,了無新意,位於佐敦的捌壹公館卻別樹一幟,中西合璧研發出多款創意菜式。店內裝潢設計走型格工業風,不過座位較少而空間亦相對狹窄。孜然風味原隻單骨雞翼 ($60) 有別於坊間一般做法將雞翼一分為二,而是將其中一條骨剪去,保留原隻雞翼啖啖肉,皮脆肉嫩且肉汁豐富,燒烤味當中帶淡淡孜然香。黑松露薯條配特調黑松露蛋黃醬 ($68) 用上幼身薯條炸得香脆乾爽,新鮮黑松露本身味道比較淡雅用以提升香氣,黑松露蛋黃醬則更加濃郁醇厚,兩者相輔相成層次更加豐富。慢煮牛肋條配香煎上海年糕 ($158) 將年糕煎至表面焦脆而內裡則保持煙韌,牛肋條肉質軟腍嫩滑而肉味香濃,雖然年糕本身味道較淡需要依賴醬汁調味,但整體鹹度太高實在是美中不足之處。麻香海鮮扁意粉 ($128) 分別有魷魚、蝦仁及蜆,青醬蒜味尤其濃郁並帶淡淡麻香,麻而不辣入口溫醇平和,質感稠厚亦不會過分油膩,扁意粉軟硬適中再加上脆香松子仁口感更加豐富。話梅菠蘿醬配窩夫及雪糕 ($78) 窩夫質感厚實近似蛋糕,蛋香十足可惜外層不夠鬆脆;雪糕綿密細滑並富奶香;話梅菠蘿醬加入港式元素別出新意,酸酸甜甜並帶一絲話梅鹹味份外清新,而除了雪糕之外連話梅菠蘿醬都同樣冰涼,與窩夫冷熱交融更是絕配。菠蘿柚子梳打 ($40) 以韓式柚子蜜為重而菠蘿為次,酸甜清爽;紅石榴香橙紅茶梳打 ($40) 茶味微不足道,而個人亦覺得紅石榴略帶藥水味。…Read More
