To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 對華星冰室既印象就係記得佢係一間明星冰室,不過從來都未試過去食佢既嘢,咁啱係筲箕灣同朋友一齊等緊人,有啲時間之下就決定去試下。星期六晏晝一點幾,見到門口都唔少人,都要等7 8個人,都有啲卻步,不過行近啲就見到條龍都郁得幾快,咁就決定等埋佢。入到去坐發現好多都係年輕既一家大細,睇嚟大家都係住呢度既街坊或者去附近郊遊既人。呢度同X牛一樣,一樣要搭枱同每個人都係食常餐,所以都跟風要左個常餐。常餐係包一個叉燒意粉(轉左做通粉)、牛油多士、火腿煎蛋(轉左炒蛋)同嘢飲。叉燒通粉既話其實都只係見到兩三舊叉燒仔沉左係底,料唔係太足,味道都係正正常常。而火腿炒蛋既蛋都係較滑,呢個唔錯,但係如果要同_牛比較,個人會認為_牛既滑蛋會更重奶味同再滑啲。而牛油多士唔會太脆,牛油味足,包都較厚,大路味道。總括嚟講,佢既常餐係正正常常,但係如果下次再要排咁長條隊既情況之下,我諗我會選擇其他茶記。…Read More

夏日炎炎不宜外出,但眼見電腦保用期快到,惟有大長征到筲箕灣的維修中心。既然難得來到筲箕灣,我事先做足功課,與baka到近電車路的華星冰室嚐嚐港式特色。:)因有親人住筲箕灣附近,所以我對這裡的餐廳都略有認識,華星冰室的大名也早已聽聞過,原打算在去書展前在灣仔的分店用餐,但假六下午理應很多人,還是在筲箕灣悠悠閒閒吃午餐較好!:)去到時大概12點,前面有4-5名食客在排隊,侍應走上前詢問我們人數,大約等了15分鐘便能入座。在等候的時候我和baka也不忘在外面討論想吃的食物。我們被安排到最裡面的卡位位置,要跟另外兩名食客搭枱,不過環境不算太擠迫,可以接受。:)餐廳裡有很多佈置,當中不乏有名藝人的簽名海報和留言。落單後不久食物便陸續送到。我們點了一個常餐($38)。首先送到的是叉燒通粉。記得小時候到茶餐廳吃早餐時總會有叉燒意粉或通粉的選擇,不過近來選擇中以火腿通粉或雪菜米線佔大多數,今次再嚐這款平凡的叉燒通粉卻使人感觸不已。通粉送到時還未看到當中的叉燒,原來全部都被通粉蓋住了。叉燒通粉很難煮得特別,略嫌份量不足,不過通粉質地和味道很有家的感覺。跟餐還有火腿炒蛋和牛油多士。炒蛋不算很滑和特別,但牛油多士烘得超好吃!已滲透進多士裡的牛油與多士配合得天衣無縫,烘得金黃,外脆內軟,好好味.:)來到華星不得不試招牌:校長多士($25)。之前看過雜誌和電視節目介紹已經很想吃,校長多士跟「校長」一樣,年年廿五,永不加價。校長多士其實就是黑松露芝士多士,以這個價錢來說可謂非常抵吃。:)校長多士總共有四塊,多士上鋪有滿滿的黑松露醬和芝士,相當足料。將兩片多士拉開可以見到有很多芝士絲,有點像西餐的pizza。:)送到時非常熱辣,多士跟常餐的多士一樣烘得金黃鬆脆,與鹹鹹的黑松露醬和芝士相得益彰,很好味!:)跟餐選了凍奶茶,但味道有點偏甜,正常茶記水準。另外還額外點了紅豆冰($25)。雖然沒有之前廣成冰室的尖三角紅豆冰來得特別,但勝在夠足料,杯裡有滿滿的紅豆,不會只得淡淡的奶味,在這種酷熱的天氣下最好作解暑之用。原以為華星冰室這麼有名,其服務態度未必親切有善,但意外地侍應們的說話方式很風趣,而且上菜速度,味道不俗,環境也比想象中舒適,有機會到筲箕灣值得為其美味的多士一試!…Read More

上一次坐電車到筲箕灣電車總站, 途中被「華星冰室」佑大的招牌的光芒所吸引住, 店外還排了長長的人龍...今天專程到來一試, 但下車後, 找不到那耀眼的招牌, 思考了一會, 向著印象中的方向行... 行了一會便到達!!! 原來大廈正在翻新, 架了起棚架, 把整間食店也遮蔽了...餐廳入口擺放了大雪櫃, 展示了大量北海道特選3.6牛乳, 說明了店內是使用此品牌的牛奶... 還有這些七彩繽紛的膠蛋, 小時候吃到的大菜糕就是放在這種容器內, 打開蛋殼時總是興奮莫名, 那些年... 總教人回味...不想排隊, 刻意避開繁忙時間, 想不到2時後仍座無虛席... 偶爾可以拍到一些沒有客人的情景, 很快便會有剛來客人坐下...牆上掛起了眾明星的親筆簽名... 那把牛角扇, 那幅通風的灰色石牆, 都像回到小時候在公屋生活的日子... 枱椅也是很久不見的懷舊款色...第一次幫襯, 不知吃什麼好, 記憶中, 很多人都是吃通粉及炒蛋的, 看到常餐頗豐富的, 就來一客吧...常餐 $32叉燒意粉火腿煎蛋牛油多士咖啡或茶(12:00pm-7:00pm供應) 叉燒意粉-- 可轉通粉或其他的, 我見網民多數是吃通粉, 所以也轉了通粉... 但是... 叉燒是另上的嗎?!! 猶豫之際, 發現叉燒是墊底的!!! 好, 先將叉燒救上水面... 來, 叉燒們, 先跟各位網友說聲Hi吧~叉燒香甜, 通粉軟韌, 奶黃色的湯底很香濃, 但又不會太鹹, 很不錯... 火腿煎蛋-- 火腿鹹香, 煎蛋滑溜到不得了, 滑溜之餘, 又不至水汪汪, 火喉掌握得恰到好處, 加上蛋香滿溢, 太美味了, 難怪會客似雲來!!! 牛油多士-- 多士厚身, 經烘焗後, 外脆內軟, 口感一流, 加上牛油的鹹香, 實是神來之筆, 簡簡單單的一片白麵包, 也可成為美味的餐餚...熱谷咕-- 小時候, 分不清谷咕與朱古力的分別, 只知道谷咕比朱古力好味, 每次到茶餐廳都必定要飲谷咕... 人大了, 很少到茶餐廳, 就算有, 都很少見到谷咕的踪影, 很懷念哦... 谷咕其實是用純正可可豆磨粉沖水而成, 相比起朱古力濃一點, 帶多點苦味... 這裡的谷咕, 正是小時候飲到的味道, 飲了一口, 即時心花怒放!!! 哈哈, 想不到, 原來我小時候已很會挑東西吃...其實我一向不太喜歡這種早餐, 已經很多年沒吃, 可能因為以前吃到的都不好吃吧... 今天一試, 終於知道這種早餐的奧妙之處在何處, 以後會多作嘗試...店員很有耐性, 可能知道我是新來的, 也沒有迫我秒速落單, 害他來回了好幾次, 我才決定好吃什麼... 真的不好意思哦...店內的氣氛... 不知怎樣說... 就是不敢拿相機出來拍照... 最後只用手機拍好了....…Read More

看過《起勢搖滾》,我極有興趣來這「Band仔飯堂」看看。午市顧客接近爆滿,幸好流動量快,我們無需等位便可坐在卡位。環境有特色,像回到過去。食物選擇不多,套餐只有常餐和營養餐,其他都要散叫,所以我們罕有地兩個人吃相同的食物,點了兩個$32的常餐,包括:叉燒意粉:叉燒埋藏在意粉內,肥瘦適中,好!意粉有咬勁,不會太腍。叉燒通粉:味道與叉燒意粉無異,比較易用匙羹享用。火腿炒蛋:火腿質素尚可,炒蛋值得盛讚,非常滑,味道佳!牛油多士:多士厚,牛油足,正!餐飲:凍飲加$2,凍咖啡、凍檸茶都好味道,最重要是十分夠凍,那個杯好像曾雪藏般。服務比那間以滑溜炒蛋著名的澳X牛奶公司好,起碼不會催促顧客,當我不小心打翻水杯時,態度仍然有禮,清理也有效率。…Read More
