The “OpenRice Best Restaurants 2025” Awards Ceremony is one of the most important events in the catering industry. It was successfully held today (31st October) at Hotel ICON in Tsim Sha Tsui! The awards aim to recognize the most outstanding and popular selected restaurants in 2025. It was a great pleasure to have representatives from award-winning restaurants and renowned gourmands participate in the ceremony, witnessing the announcement of 'Grand Award' and all the other categories in town.

The “OpenRice Best Restaurants 2025” Awards winners in each category were determined 100% by public voting, creating a food guide certified by citizens of Hong Kong. This year we launched the “OpenRice Best 100” which breaks the boundaries of traditional cuisine categories. It is curated on a comprehensive scoring system that includes final public vote counts, total annual page views, and the number of Bookmark times. The result, listed in no particular order, is a definitive list of the 100 most popular restaurants among Hong Kong diners this year. These standout establishments truly deserve your attention!

During nearly 2 months of public election, and resulted in 120 awards. The “Spanish”, “American”, “Bakery”, etc., have been introduced to the Cuisine Category which is resulting in a total of 33 cuisine categories for the ceremony this year.
