Villa villa burger really lives up to its name and being the signature burger of the shop. The buns are lightly toasted that gives an extra crunchy texture while the 2 high quality juicy beef patties are nicely seasoned that gives the meat a more delicate and authentic taste. The fresh tomato and lettuce slice balances off the greasiness of the patties and mayo sauce and to top it off for a perfect burger, we added an extra sunny-side up egg which I highly recommend you all to do so. The bursting of the egg yolk in a burger is just too satisfying to watch plus it gives the whole burger an extra creamy texture. For a less heavy burger we also had the lemon chicken burger but don’t go thinking that it is any worse than their signature villa burger because they are not! The moisture of the chicken and their homemade lemon sauce creates a perfect combination for the burger and offers a refreshing hint, this burger resonates me with the legendary cuisine of “Lemon Chicken” that could be found being served in most local Chinese restaurants, and who would have thought that it would work so well on burgers too! For the sides, the restaurant offers a wide range of variety including chicken wings, cabbage salad and cheesy fries. We took the normal curvy waved fries which well seasoned and made to order so they taste nicely toasted. For the cabbage salad, the veggies are juicy and fresh but I would prefer slightly less seasoning with the salad dressing. Overall, a hidden gem in taikoo place that should not be missed out on!

Visiting this newly opened traditional italian/ french restaurant in Central Duddell street. It is located at a very convenient spot in the heart of central, just 5mins walk from Landmark.
Came here for lunch, the restaurant is definitely a decent place for a date or celebration with great food, services and also stylish interior.
We took the 6 course lunch set ($880) overall, it’s really good value for money, especially with the generous portion they served.

Lobster Bisque with ravioli - the soup was so rich and creamy! Absolutely love it and the ravioli was stuffed with lobster meats 8/10
Fettuccine with carabineros prawn- this is my fav dish in here!! Definitely the best, not to mention the prawn, also impressed with the rich prawn sauce. Pasta was cooked on point 10/10
Quail-a piece of pan fried quail and the other slow cooked piece was stuffed with foie gras and mushroom, served with mashed potato. Nice dish with structure 9/10
Cod fish- nicely cooked and fresh, texture was really smooth. Served with scallop and prawn 8/10
Lamb Rack- this was another highlight in here! It was slow cooked and baked covered with rosemary sauce. I’m not a big fam of lamb but really enjoyed it 10/10
Dessert
Both desserts were out of expectation! As it is a newly opened restaurant, didn’t have much expectation for desserts in the first place but turn out the taste and presentation were amazing
Passion fruit cheese cake with mango sauce- the cheesecake was in circle shape with rich flavour. The dessert served with a thin slice of “biscuit”, cream, mini mango tubes, some crunches and foam. With the complex structure and taste, highly recommended 9/10
Ginger creme brulee ice-cream- a nice one as well, was special and not too sugary, creme brulee with a hint of ginger flavour. Served with almond cornfeuillint & caramel sauce 8/10
Took half bottle of white wine - restaurant is now offering 15% off for all the wines on menu
2018 jean-paul & benoit droin Chablis - good to pair with seafood, Chardonnay, unoarked and steely 8/10

🥗Wagyu salad- 7/10 had this to kick start our pellet as an appetiser, refreshing salad veggie and mixed with wagyu
Wagyu shiso tempura - 6/10 where the shiso leave wrapped around a cube size beef and deep fried tempura style
🥪Wagyu foie gras sando - 8/10 The star of the day, a perfect combination of both foie gras and deep fried wagyu beef between the toasted bread is undoubtedly gonna be everyone’s favourite.
Dried plum tomato- We are then served with dried plum tomato to wash down the wagyu oil in our mouth in preparation for the wagyu meat platter and Japanese style clay pot rice.

Want next level quality burger? Burger begin is the spot to go for! We had the signature beef burger with foie gras with terriyaki sauce. The buns are perfectly toasted and with pan seared foie gras with terriyaki sauce to neutralise with the greasiness, juicy beef burger (slightly well done but you can order the way you want your beef to medium rare or even rare), along with some fresh lettuce and raw onions. Credit to how they handle the raw onions that you won’t be able to feel the weird spiciness but rather sweet and juicy. For the snack we had the fried Camembert cheese that just melts in your mouth in one bite, really pairs well with a bottle of soda (or beer but you need to buy nearby since they don’t sell alcohol) and the deep fried squid lip is very chewy, tastes somewhat similar to a cuttlefish lip, the homemade hot sauce goes really well with it too I would highly recommend it. For the fries, they did it in a toasty way so good news for those that enjoy extra crispy snacks, and the spicy garlic powder gives an extra kick to the fries and bring it to a new level. This place does not provide seats but news had it that they are expanding to planning to open up a new resto with seats!

A hidden gem in Sheung wan where they serve traditional Indian cuisine. We were first welcomed with a bowl of creamy tomato soup with a lot of ingredients and you could really feel the kick of pepper and spices in the soup, enjoyed it very much. Then followed by the Pani Puri, the traditional Indian finger food. Half mashed potatoes wrapped in a thin layer of round shaped cracker and to pour just the right amount of the slightly sour sauce in the middle makes it a fun enough dish to kick start the appetite. The Garlic chicken tikka served on a sizzling pan with a touch of spring onions on top, pretty heavy on garlic (good news for mad garlic lovers) but the meat is very tender and juicy, I would recommend to eat it with Bastami rice. Then come the Beef Madras and spring onion naan, which is basically the inseparable combo when it comes to Indian style curry. The curry is creamy with just a touch of spice, portion of the beef is generous and the quality of the meat is quite tender, feels somewhat like beef brisket to me. Spring onion naan is chewy, not too greasy and feels like an Indian version sourdough. For veggie, we went for Aloo Gobi, which is cauliflower with potatoes. Their sauce reminds me of the soup they served at the beginning of the meal but the texture is richer and thicker, which pairs well with the food surprisingly. For drinks, we didn’t go for any alcohol but instead, ordered Lime soda and Mango Lassi. It is my first timer for mango lassi, surprisingly good and not too sweetened as they use plain yogurt as the main ingredient. Overall, this seems like the traditional style Indian cuisine so don’t expect lavish decorations but the food exceeds my expectations. Good for group gatherings as there are so much more to try. I look forward to my next visit and hoping for more surprises from them.

Amazing seafood dishes cooked in fishermen style🤣🤣 The best part of this place is that the portions are adjustable for 2-3 ppl which is not common in Chinese cuisine. Been waiting for 2 months for a table for lunch. Cozy French restaurant in Wan Chai. Definitely in love with their starters! 😍💯💯💯We almost tried everything in here haha.. It would be great if you could visit with small group of friends ( I know it’s not possible for now due to govt restriction) so that you can try everything in the menu! Starters we had: Beef tartare ( signature one/ must try) Razor clam (perfectly cooked with parsley and garlic/ signature/ must try) Chicken liver pafait ( this is one of my fav dish in here, super smooth and creamy!/ must try) Oyster ( fresh/ can try if you like oyster, personally not a big fan of oyster) Summer Salad( not bad, ordered this just because we wanna have some veggies lol, not necessarily need to order) Btw, they have REALLY NICE bread!😋 For mains, I only recommend the Duck breast & they have amazing desserts ( I’m not a dessert person) !
