Very cozy old American style deco, not too nosy, we arrived around 1230 and was seated immediately, booked it just the night before online As I’m pregnant we just hv bottled water which was refilled frequently. The starters are nicely done particularly with the bread, it’s crispy outside but soft inside with a not so boring taste. Salami olive and cheese taste normal. But hope they would improve the plate, $400 per head lunch is not pricy but not cheap as well in Central so I expect an fully intact plate is a basic courtesy of an upscale restaurant? The sauce is a bit spicy creamy cheese sort of, pasta texture is nicely done. We ordered medium steak (as I can’t eat sth too rare these days) which is done to our satisfaction, the sauce is really tasty and match with the chargrilled steak, can’t help but to ask the waiter what it’s made of and was given a quite comprehensive answer. Dessert trolly Lemon cheese cake, it’s refreshing and not too sweet and heavy~ $400 per head, it’s a gd portion for us two as we hv relatively small appetite, and I like it this way more than the traditional American dish whose portion size is usually alarmingly large and remind me of wastage ~~

Been here with hubby few times before and every time their food quality is good! My bestie return from her trip in the US for her MBA, so we propose to hv our gathering here which is a good choice! Wonderful food, casual ambience and friendly staff as usual. And they are flexible with food choice as well (some restaurant would request you to order one set dinner per person but here they allow you to mix the set dinner with some a la carte dishes which provides more variety esp for woman who generally want to try more but with a small appetite 😄) Beef tarte, I can’t really comment as when I want to try it’s gone already lol Starter some salted fish mixed with citrusy fruit dice Tuna, smell and taste nice I think this is pork cheek? So soft and juicy without that weird pork smell which I often found when the pork is not done properly Steak and foie gras 🤤🤤🤤 steak is medium rare just right not too bloody but with that delicious grilled taste Dessert....I think I hv almost 2 of these when my girls are busy chit chatting lol the Nutella like cream taste like heaven when paired with nuts (I’m not sure if it’s Nutella or they make the hazelnut chocolate themselves but it feel like less sweet than the Nutella we usually hv?) chocolate larva cake is 🤤🤤👍🏻 We choose the wine pairing so we 5 ppl can share the wine, we are not very gd with wine so such sharing is just right, enough to get you a bit tipsy into that TGIF mood without getting you drunk 😵 About $550 per head, totally gd value 👍🏻

Come here as my birthday dinner with my hubby, $1200 for 15 pieces of omakase sushi and $1500 for 18 pieces, with three of them being seasonal special where rare find ingredients would be used. I can’t really recall all the names of the sashimi dish I tried, but to sum it up, here the seasonings are not heavy at all, most of the dishes are seasoned with a light citrus taste to let the customer enjoy the specific taste of each types of fish, it’s a total fish and seafood paradise and the use of ingredient is indeed exquisite. Even the seaweed is particularly crispy ❤️ Since the seasoning of the sushi and sashimi is not heavy at all, despite I’m generally a small appetite person, after finishing 18 pieces, I don’t find it very stuffy like what I would usually feel like after having western cuisine as dinner. the lady serving us has lived in Japan for quite some years and very knowledgable about the Japanese cuisine, eating habits and well verse of the origin and cooking method of the each dish and types of wine, her friendly explanation does make our night particular enjoyable. Come here for the hype of the extravagant decor and indeed such kind of decor is uncommon in HK~ was told the day before no booking allowed for lunch and restaurant opened at 1130 and asked me to walk in. Next day I came around 12pm when the restaurant was just half filled but then after the receptionist took down my number she told me need to wait possibly 1.5 hrs or less before we can get our seat, without explaining the reason 🙁 the lunch set price at $130-$200 which is normal set lunch price for this area but with this price point I hv a lot of options to choose from rather than wasting for 1.5 hrs while the restaurant is just half filled.

Order one bottle of wine/ two glasses of wine per head then get 40% off the oysters 😍👍🏻varieties of choices, belon 0000 and the smallest one is 0200 , lambert and majestic are soooo creamy yet with that delicate metallic after taste ❤️ rib eye is normal juicy with char grilled taste but hv fat rim and tendon so just so so~ banana toffee cake is worth to try too, not overly sweet with quite strong toffee flavour and the banana is nicely caramelised ~~~ banana liquor ice cream pair with chocolate cookies crumbles Final bill is hkd1300 for two, would recommend trying our the oysters and dessert 🍨 I

Come here with 3 friends for a pre mid autumn festival gathering. The deco is modern and cozy We ordered 3 set lunch and 1 pizza, about hkd 280 per person. The free bread served warm and hv a few varieties to choose from, I like the cheese stick the most! You can pair it with a spicy sauce which is first time to me. Refreshing citrus and beetroot starter and avocado Salmon tartare, the creamy sauce paired well with the salmon dice~ Red snapper....can't comment as when I want it it's all gone already lol but I guess it should be gd lol This pork in the set lunch menu is a surprise, very crispy skin and juice meat, the meat is not overcooked so not too chewy, plus the mushroom sort of tune down the heaviness of the pork~~no gamy smell of the pork as well~~ I would recommend this one, 3 cheese and mushroom pizza! Crispy base but not too hard and it's overflow with chessssse which balance well by the amount of veggie, unfortunately it turned cold very fast and hope they would consider serving it in hot iron pan which can retain heat better~~ pasta, taste ordinary but well made I would say. Banana and chocolate puff pastry and ice cold mango sorbet ~~~ u can never go wrong with chocolate and banana😄😄

Come here as business dinner, all the dishes are nicely done and I'm especially impressed by their complementary dishes, which hv so much variety and a gastronomic delight ❤️ The red globe one is cold tomato soup inside a creamy shell which melts in the mouth with the cold soup 🍜 Another flavourful fried dishes, also complementary Olive flavour jelly in olive shape dipped into olive oil 👍🏻 I wonder how they shape the jelly tho ~also a complementary dish ~ First dish of the degustation menu, beluga caviar with uni, shrimp and a crustacean jelly base, the taste of the caviar is so intense but lightened up by the cold jelly base, every mouthful is a taste of the ocean 🤤 Winter truffle steamed egg, whole piece of truffle paired well with plain hot steamed egg Japanese sanriku scallop, slightly seared with the inside remain juicy and soft, paired with gillardeau oysters grain and lichen Seabass with 蟶子 and a creamy sauce Blue lobster, a memorable texture, also slightly cooked so the lobster retains its natural juice, the sauce complement well with it Wagyu beef with puree, the wagyu beef is so tenderly soft and not like some wagyu beef that's too fat it won't end up as a mouthful of oil Yuzu sorbet and a citrus ice cream 🍦, a very refreshing way to end a wonderful dinner ❤️ Definitely will come again and recommended 👍🏻 Hkd2280/ head for the tasting menu set

Wonder around in pp during lunch hour and every where is full except this one I get to sit outside the enclosed area. Once heard a so so review from colleague and never bother to come but I will just give it a shot given the crowd downstair $20x set lunch with mains dessert and bread, bread is ok, serve warm with soft butter Mains is scallop pasta, the scallop is a bit small but fresh the sauce is creamy with seaweed which add some texture to the taste Earl grey chocolate tart, not too sweet but with strong earl grey taste, the mousse is creamy Tea is nice too, can drop by again nx time

Michelin one star try out~ Starter: 1. 63 degree eggs with foie gras and smoked duck Not much of a fan for this one simply cuz the foie gras has a rather strong smell which not my personal liking 2. Paprika prawns with avocado veloute Prawns is seasoned with avocado cream and veggie, cold and refreshing starter for such a or weather Mains: 1. Lamb saddle with blue cheese Not my cup of tea as the mutton smell is there but hubby said it's delicious, gd for any lamb lover 2. iberico pork cheek with orange and tandoori sauce Pork cheek soft and juicy paired with orange and tandoori sauce so well match Dessert: 1. Blackcurrent & Mascarpone mousse The black sesame ice cream is very strong and mascarpone is milky creamy 2. Traditional creme caramel The sweetness is done just right with a gd texture, crispy biscuit and cream with a strong vanilla taste 👍🏻 Petite four and coffee Verdict:- everything nicely done esp the super soft juicy iberico pork 😍😍 lamb saddle not my fav as it has a mutton smell...better value than Robuchon and Epure ~~
