Did not know Haven Street is a food haven... no, heaven I mean. Surprising for me that a lot of lesser known streets in Causeway Bay are full of roadside bars and restaurants, include where the new Frites Belgium on Tap is. This new branch is designed like a beer hall with high ceiling and even a gigantic TV showing soccer matches. I LOVE this atmo and decor, which brings me back to west Europe. Drinks: Belgium beers might have the most variety and sophistication of all, and this place has mocktails, but tonight I only tried 1 pint juice. That's so interesting, I ordered 40HKD tomato juice with extra 15HKD to upgrade to a pint. There are other juices as well.

My favourite of the night is this HIGH PROTEIN quinoa salad (145HKD), an extra 85HKD bringa you Angus grilled rib eye on top. The rib eye so soft and tender, the salad has so many fibrous and nutritious ingredients like quinoa and wild rice, but they do not really put that much. The flavour is good tho.

The Hoegardeen mussels (235HKD half a pot) is an interesting new try, up to standard execution but a bit weird for the flavour of beer with the mussels. The mussels are a bit small and not enough butter, not so flavorful. However, in general it's a big portion, enough for 2~3 people.

The rosemary roast whole chicken (235HKD) is not bad, my friend said it is great. For me the cream is a bit too sour, but the meat is up to standard and big in portion as well.

I enjoyed this night to the utmost with an unexpected exploration of this new food street. This branch is even better loking and bigger than the one at Wan Chai. The rib eye salad highly recommended.
