I was invited to the wedding of a coworker's daughter. Not too familiar with Kwun Tong,  it took me a while to find this building, only to forehead slap myself when I  realized it was next to APM.

Anyways, disregarded to take photos because I was too busy talking to old coworkers I haven't seen in a while.

The set up the restaurant is quite good for wedding banquets. It's large and spacious. No table was blocked from view from the main stage. And there was quite a stage up front, complete with a large video screen that took up the whole wall. Perfect for showing  wedding videos throughout the night.

We were offered banquet style meals. The entire dish was placed in front of us and servers separated the food onto our individual plates. Serving size was huge even when split among us.

First up was the roast pork. It came out in parade-like fashion, complete with blinding flashing lights stuck into the pig's eyes. The roast pork was mostly skin and overly salty.

Second was shrimp meat wrapped crab claw. The shrimp meat was pretty good. Nice and flavorful. Crab meat was non existent.

Third was bok choy with braised shitake mushrooms. This dish was overly salty.

Fourth was choy sum with dried compoy stuffed in zucchini. This was quite good.  The zucchini was soft and the compoy went well with everything.

Fifth was seafood soup as shark fin was not approved by the bride and groom. The soup was tasty but it was the restaurant put way too much cornstarch that it was too thick. It felt like glue while I was trying to spoon it up.

Sixth was steamed garoupa. The fish was oddly bland and way over cooked.

Seventh was seafood fried rice or noodles. I chose the rice which was also very salty.

The meal ended with dessert which was red bean soup and Chinese pastries which I didn't have as serving size was so big, I couldn't eat anything else.

All in the all, service was fine as they changed plates continuously. Though plates were chipped ... something the restaurant should take note of for a wedding banquet. Food was quite salty. I don't think I'd try this restaurant again if I had the chance of going on my own.
