On some level I did not want to write a review for this joint as I didn't want too many people to know about it so I don't have to wait for a space. Tucked away in a little alley in Wan Chai, it's not really busy on weeknights which is almost always when I will drop by without reservation because I felt like having Thai food for dinner. The owner recognizes us by now and we are always serviced promptly. We have tried many dishes on their menu and dishes I always get areork Satays - you get 6 in

Tucked away in a little alley in Wan Chai, it's not really busy on weeknights which is almost always when I will drop by without reservation because I felt like having Thai food for dinner. The owner recognizes us by now and we are always serviced promptly. We have tried many dishes on their menu and dishes I always get are:

Pork Satays - you get 6 in one order and can choose beef, chicken or pork or a mix of all three. The pork satay here is simply the best as it is the juiciest pork I have ever had! The satays are grilled perfectly and the peanut sauce complements the meat as well.

Malay Tong Choi - the tong choi is tossed with a bit of ground pork and chili pepper so it is a bit spicy which is it more appealing to eat. The tong choi is not overcooked so it still retains its snappy texture. 

Stir-Fried Rice Noodle - you get a choice of beef, chicken, or pork again and you can't go wrong with any choice as the noodle is the star. The rice noodle is stir-fried with sweet soy sauce until the sauce is fully absorbed so the noodles are dry. It's slightly sweet with a hint of spiciness, which was appetizing to eat. 

For those more adventurous, we tried the steam fish in broth as pictured below. The entire fish is brought to our table in a fish shaped metal plate which is still cooking the fish and broth. The broth is aromatic with smells of lemongrass and lime filling our noses. The broth itself is sweet with a hint of sourness. You can eat the broth with fish or rice.

I've been pretty impressed with many of their dishes as they are very good and consistent. Best of all, there are no lines which is a rarity with good restaurants in HK.
