I was told these resisdential cafes are relly popular and this is the most popular one in Mong Kok. Well I must say, the environment ain't that bad, feels more like home rather than a cafe. There were 5 of us with laptops and paperworks so the waiteress kindly lead us to the table with enough spaces for all of us plus our belongings, first impression's really important and it was all going good.

The menu was all in Chinese luckily a well English speaking waiter (he's from England too) was there to help me out with the menu. At the end we've ordered from their set lunch menu, i had the "sliced duck's breast penne cabonara" which comes with a drink, I had an iced Cappuccino, plus a special appetizer platter to share between us.

Food was prepared fresh from our order as I can see from their open kitchen but sevice was well fast, in less than 5 minutes we've all had our drinks and in less than 15 minutes our food follows, every dish looks mouth watering and smells delicious already. The cabonara I had was a real taste of home, creamy sauce seasoned with a mixture of herbs, black pepper and fresh egg, in good size of portion, it was really filling, good value for money. The platter was ok, the samosa was a bit plain but the buffalo wings was well flavoured and cooked to perfection.
)

Cappuccino was up to standard, also was freshly brewed by the taste of it and the drink can last a whole evening, again good value for money. We spent about 3.5 hrs there for our English lesson but the place got busier then and was a bit too noisy although the waiter did tell the noisy customers to lower their noises but we thought we don't wanna disturb others party so we decided to go.

It was a good choice for enviroment, comfy and quiet (until the busy rush hrs), delicious food and drink, good value for money, will defo be our 1st choice to hold our tutorial lesson there, but earlier hrs will be better to avoid disappointment.

Will become a regular customer there, shame that they don't have loyalty discount, but will visit you guys weekly
))))

P.S: My student said Bolognese was tasty too, gotta try that next!!!
