Tao Heung is one of the best and biggest chain Chinese restaurant groups in HK, and it's actually my favorite.I have a lot of sweet memories since childhood from Tao Heung; I used to go to Tao Heung Tuen Mun a few times every week for dim sum, dinner and hot pot. The foods in Tao Heung are consistent in quality, relatively heealth conscious, agreeable in price, and I can see the staff here serve customers with heart---- they always wear a smile on their faces no matter how tiresome the life of waitresses is, which is a well-known truth. From this I can tell Tao Heung has treated its staff very well. They even have its own museum and very presentable college for its staff in Fo Tan.
They change menus once in 2-3 months, and they constantly create new dishes with a lot of delicious promotions, such as 98HKD for a whole big grouper with suckling pig pieces and 'one dollar chicken', which is whole chicken which costs only one dollar.
Its revolutionary modern design as a Chinese restaurant is also comfy and spacious.
At night, some of the branches have 8HKD dessert buffet, which it is a bar serving unlimited Chinese desserts, drinks and soft drinks ----- sesame soup, almond soup, pumplkin soup, red bean soup, soy bean milk, sour plum juice and so on.
They have hot pot every night, which is a popular style of dining in Hong Kong and some parts of Guang Dong province. Hot pot = putting raw foods into boiling soup inside a metal bowl and cook them yourself. I recommend starchy glass noodles and seafoods while enjoying hot pot. The vegetables are very fresh. They have discount after 9pm.
I don't want to write in details for Tao Heung because once I start writing, there will be thousands of words I want to say.
