Kowloon shangrila's cafe kool is known for its high standard buffets. I reserved a spot for their lunch buffet on a Friday afternoon, the service was good and they also confirmed the booking a day before. The buffet starts at 12 and ends at 3. We were seated at around 12:10, 10 mins late from the starting time.The seafood bar was very impressive and the variety was very fresh and tasty. The meat slices were a bit dry. They had chorizo and Parma ham that were freshly sliced on he counter. They also had a variety of salad greens, other fruits and veggies+condiments. The "Shake-Shake" Japanese style salad served in a jar was mediocre, and lacks dressing. Otherwise, the smoke salmon was also very fresh. Thy even served different types of salmon cuts.
Very big and juice seafood 8/10
The Salmon sashimi is also very sweet and fatty. 9/10
Sushi was not so good. The rice is very sticky... And they didn't have Salmon sushi! 6/10

There were many hot food counters
Chinese : dim sum, rice and noodle dishes, congee barand also soup noodle bar
Indian: curries, tandoori chicken, masalas etc
East Asian: meat skewers, grilled pineapple,seafood soups and curries etc

Western hot foods: cheesy pastries, seafood pot, broccoli purée, roast beef and other meats etc.
From left to right:
Seafood pot: 7/10. Nice taste but very small seafood bits
Broccoli purée 6/10: the jar was so small and it was difficult to eat. Taste like baby food.
Fried prawns: 7/10 not very fresh but they were very big and juicy.
Baked orange salmon; 7/10 it was ok but orange and salmon is not my favourite combination
Pork and chicken skewers: 8/10 very tender and flavorful
Fried tempura 8/10: good if eaten immediately
Potato hash: 8/10
Roast beef: 8/10

i went crazy for the macadmia nut, green tea and strawberry cheesecake.... MY FAV!
They also had 2 chocolate fountains, one dark one white. they give you marshmallows, rainbow marshmallos, pineapples, palmiers and sugar cookies to dip.Dessert:
