this restaurant is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Tai Po. my mom and I love this place. their portions are pretty big and satisfying, and the texture of their noodles is what it's supposed to be -smooth, dense and firm, yet not too stiff. we ordered Ja Jiang noodles (炸醬麵, $35 [?]), and the combination of the minced meat sauce and the noodles is so delicious! we also had noodles with cabbage pork dumplings (白菜豬肉餃子麵, $30). the skins of the dumplings weren't too thick and the ratio betwee
we also had noodles with cabbage pork dumplings (白菜豬肉餃子麵, $30). the skins of the dumplings weren't too thick and the ratio between the fillings and the skin is just right, but the taste can be slightly less salty. my favorite dish is the meat dumplings in chili oil (紅油抄手, $20) -the mini dumplings are firm and chewy, and the hot chili oil brings out the intensity and flavor of the dumplings. this dish is aromatic and scrumptious. Mmmm nom nom!
