It was a Friday lunchtime - time to grab some good food!My friend and I walked pass this restaurant. Unlike another branch near Central Pier, seats were provided in this restaurant. This restaurant is not very spacious, but luckily we did not have to wait for seats as not many people were in the restaurant at the time.We were given a set lunch menu.As a signature dish, we ordered fish and chips with Tartar sauce (there were some more options for sauce). Fish is a bit too soft - hard to handle it
My friend and I walked pass this restaurant. Unlike another branch near Central Pier, seats were provided in this restaurant. This restaurant is not very spacious, but luckily we did not have to wait for seats as not many people were in the restaurant at the time.
We were given a set lunch menu.
As a signature dish, we ordered fish and chips with Tartar sauce (there were some more options for sauce). Fish is a bit too soft - hard to handle it with fork and knife when dining. Chips are much better. The chips are not too heavily favoured.
Another dish we ordered is White Beef Seafood Basket. The portion is a bit small. Like the previous dish, we could also choose the sauce.
We were recommended by the staff to order NZ Lamb Cheese Burger with Onion Rings. We would feel a taste of mints in the burger with the lamb. It would be better if more onion rings are served.
Lastly, we also ordered Fisherman Sandwich with onion rings. The portion is pretty large. But the down side is that more time is needed for the food preparation.
Together with the sets were drinks. Iced lemon tea was only option for free. However, the menu was not clearly presented such that we (and even the staff) felt a bit confused whether drinks are included in the sets. Overall, food is satisfactory and the environment is good. We are happy to come again.
