Year ago it was a great hit spot with long queue always. Seems the heat has gone now and it is bck to be a quite place for tea. Stepped in at 4-ish there are seats free to choose. I picked an indoor one facing the balcony. I was here for the mocha molten cake and so i should pick something other than mocha for drink. Dan Cong was my choice finally. The tea came with a set of utensil: the rank, a little glass jar, a sip cup and a lid cup. I wasnt quite sure how to play with but the staff were helpful to explain and helped me out. The tea was soothing, so warm and smooth when it slip down. With a little honey taste its so nice under the cold winter.
After a while the green tea molten cake came when i almost forgot, it took quite a while. Very deep strong green tea, the taste has nothing to criticize. And went so well with vanilla icecream. Just it was not hot enough when arrived at table.
I spent hours there and staff were smart to help out with refilling both me pot and my cups, good service (so i wonder why did some people commented that the service was terrible?).
Interesting that it was like a semi opened area with a balcony outside. But the balcony was surrounded by all the walks n it looked really not good, feel like sitting at the backstreet. However the indoor was too dark. At half 5 i felt pretty hard to continue with my reading.
Overall the tea was good food was good service was good. Mocha was their highlight so i think they should stay with whatever they are good at. Great choice for green tea lovers!
