星期二平日的一個下午,遠離工作,決定到西貢走走,舒舒筋骨。穿越橫街窄巷,發現這裡又多了一些新的精品小店和咖啡店。在飲食網站搜尋一下,就決定晚飯到這間Takka Fusion Japanese Cuisine。地點不難找,就在海濱公園附近的福民路。甫進入玻璃門,就見右手邊貼滿明星照,大部分都是無記的明星藝員,不知老闆是否和該電視台甚有淵源呢?舖面整潔,裝修走西日式格調,配合Fusion主題。因為時間尚早,我們是第一批客人,座位則選了裡面比較近刺身凍櫃的。食物方面,先來個招牌特色沙律,顏色醒目,特別欣賞店方用雞尾酒杯盛載;材料也吃得出新鮮,有吞拿魚刺身、熟蝦、中華沙律、三文魚子和生菜等等,非常醒胃。詢問店員今天的時令刺身後,就要了一客鱆紅魚刺身。新鮮不在話下,反而對其擺盤和刀功方面留下深刻印象。壽司點了(由前至後,左至右)特上海鰻、海膽、馬刀貝、和牛和帆立貝。海鰻燒得乾身;海膽配了兩片青瓜,兩者配合得宜;馬刀貝爽口鮮甜;和牛沒有吃,男友說只是一般;帆立貝也不錯。接著是燒物和炸物,炸物有炸生蠔和魚仔天婦羅,燒物則有燒三文魚腩、燒牛脷和燒蘆筍煙肉(原本只是要燒蘆筍,但店方弄錯,給了燒蘆筍煙肉,所以後來免費送一客燒蘆筍)。最後再以一客厚切且筋少的吞拿魚刺身作結尾,清清口中的油膩感。太飽的關係,沒有吃甜品。埋單連加一八百多元,即一個人約四百左右,價錢與質素成正比,值得再來。

撰寫這一篇短文時,這 Takka Fusion 已經不再提供早市服務。所以,這會是一篇比較特別的報導。住在西貢多年,向來都有留意這一家細小的餐廳,可是西貢確實是有太多更好,更有特式或價錢更合理的選擇,所以對這一店,一直都是經過門前,看看餐牌就走。這兒提供的早餐,Fusion 嗎? 我就點下這一個叉燒拉麵。湯,就不是濃濃的豬骨湯啦,只是一個清澈見底的醬油湯,味道沒有什麼特別,而叉燒亦只是普通至極的日式叉燒,整體上,這一個早餐麵,沒有什麼大特別。早上,奶茶是必須品,這奶茶不濃,可以說是沒有茶餐廳的水準,未能令人醒神。早市的確做得不夠好,不夠好之餘又收得貴,覺得他們決定 discontinue 早市是對的。

TAKKA Fusion Japanese Cuisine is a small restaurant found between two bigger shops; a Chinese restaurant and a dental clinic. If you walk past this restaurant, you wouldn’t even know it was there unless you were looking for it. With a press of the button outside, the glass door slides open and you would walk into a modern style Japanese restaurant that can be found in any city in Japan. The restaurant is small yet has a cosy feeling to it. The decorations - bottles of Sake are placed on a shelf - simple yet appealing to the eye and it creates a modern Japanese atmosphere. With only 32 covers arranged around small tables it would be bad for busy days but on most occasions it would be full. When you sit down your green tea is waiting for you; hot, steamy and ready to be poured! Everyone starts off with a heart-warming, traditional miso soup that is served in a unique, slanted bowl. The taste of freshly made soup warms up your body, and even on hot, sunny days like these you wouldn’t say no to it. While taking casual sips of my tea and listening to a Nora Jones-like song, I waited for the main course: Chicken Teriyaki. I had ordered the chicken teriyaki with assorted sushi; sounds delicious! The wait took quite a while but my food came eventually. It was a nice, flavourable combination of famous Japanese dishes; chicken teriyaki, assorted sushi and nigiri and some salad with sesame dressing as a side dish. The first bite of the chicken was memorable; it melted into your mouth in an instant and an explosion of fireworks erupted, filling your mouth with new, sensational flavours!We shouldn’t forget the dessert! Who wouldn’t want to eat something sweet to finish off a beautiful meal? Unfortunately, there were only two desserts on the menu; green tea ice cream and sesame ice cream. They weren’t the best desserts but they were still edible. I ordered the sesame and waited ages. Looking around me, people had already paid and left and I was sitting there waiting for a scoop of ice cream. I waited impatiently and 10 minutes after the main course, I finally received what I ordered. Two scoops of ice cream in a small bowl; had I seriously been waiting all that time for just two scoops? Ah, but it was worth it! It was cold to the touch but warm to the eyes. This delectable dessert is a perfect dish to end a scrumptious meal!A set lunch meal for one person would usually be around $60-70; there is a 10% service charge. It’s a bit higher than most fast food restaurants I go to but it certainly was a better restaurant than most. 4/5 stars!Robbi Bradbeer

同事推介,一定要試下。間野唔大,約20-30個位。12:30 去到已經有人等緊位,好在一個人食即刻有台。lunch都有好多選擇,平均$60-$70到,幾化算,當然刺身定食同魚生飯會貴小小。未叫野食一坐低就上0左個麵屎湯,唔太咸,幾好,平時唔係好飲麵屎湯0既我都飲晒叫0左個鐵板牛脷拼雜錦壽司。壽司雖然唔係咩貴價貨,但係好食0的飲一粒粒軟硬適中牛脷因為最後先食,所以凍0左,但係味道唔錯沙津就不嬲都唔係好食,食到尾試0左少少,感覺OK。最後係餐飲同雪糕,雪糕有紅豆,芝麻同綠茶三種味,我就揀0左紅豆。埋單凍飲加三蚊連加一唔駛$70,抵另唔知間野係咪好出名,有兩台大台book位已經霸0左大半間餐廳。所以個侍應一落單已經問定我食咩味雪糕同餐飲...~建議如果冇book位最後早0的去,見到有散客冇book位冇得食...~

第二次光顧此日本餐廳,可見上次光顧的體驗還是挺好的~~ 這次顧客比較多,進去的時候已差不多滿座,只剩大門口和bar 檯傍的座位。叫了兩個 set lunch: 滑蛋豬扒飯、燒鯖魚。後者是 encore ,前者就係新嘗試。 滑蛋豬扒飯味道可以,不過無咩汁,飯入口較乾。燒鯖魚保持水準啦。Takka 仍是在西貢吃日本野時既首選!
