After the renovation, Palm Court looks more clean, simple and chic. Services Staff were smart, efficient and polite, and able to accommodate unusual requests. Usually, staff will take time to explain how they serve their afternoon tea but Palm Court didn't. There are several teas listed in the menu with helpful descriptions. Staff is also able to give recommendations on Tea selection.
Environment Their live music was kept to a background level which encouraging chatting. Lights dimmed towards the evening. Quite romantic.
Wonderland afternoon tea set ($498 for 2)
Palm Court is served with a traditional 3-tier cake stand which means pastries should be those universal choices, not much surprise. Sandwiches come first, and serving staff are adept at positioning plates on the stand so everything still fits.
Sandwiches The Sandwiches were too dry to taste. Dull style. That reminds me what I had tasted in Mandarin Oriental Hotel before, bad sandwiches quality too.
Pastries All mini cakes are served with less sweet, which kick and offset the bad quality of sandwiches nicely.
Scone (served with strawberry jam + rose jam) 4 homemade scones arrived after our sandwiches were devoured. A bit late for that. They are wrapped in a napkin so still warm when we cut them in half. 2 plain and 2 raisin scones each were not crumbly even before I added clotted cream and homemade jam.
Conclusion There're lots of Mainlanders who used to speak like arguing. It somehow destroyed my relaxing afternoon tea mood a bit. However, it's not the main factor. Staff are a true credit. Nice.
Am quite disappointed about the quality of the pastries and sandwiches. With the price of $498, I do expect more. I wouldn’t recommend to my friends who loves afternoon tea.

當整個下午餐送來時，會放上梳化旁的一個高身鐵架，感覺高貴，由上至下都散發出一種古典高雅的氣息來。從來我都會由咸點開始，迷你三文治用上新鮮的材料製成，一口一件，分別有【Crab, Cucumber and avocado】、【Organic brown egg with mustard cress】、【Cured ham with vine tomato and grain mustard】、【Langham smoked salmon with crème fraiche and drill】&【Poached chicken with coronation mayonnaise】。每一件都很美味，特別喜歡上那件風乾火腿的三文治，足滿咸香的味道，又有點點的甜味，另外的蟹肉三文治同樣好吃，可能我喜歡牛油果的關係，以致所有關於牛油果的美食都喜歡，整體的咸點都很好吃。
中間的一層是甜點，每件都小巧精緻，遠看還以為是藝術品，與瓷碟上的圖案很匹配。分別有【Blueberry Crumble】、【Crispy Raspberry E’Clair】、【Mango Short Cake】、【Lemon Meringue Sable】&【Almond Strawberry Tartlet】五件，當中那件藍莓金寶更做得如一件藝術品般，不但美味，而且連外觀也照顧到，以一隻小小的紫色朱古力杯盛載了忌廉芝士及藍莓，再在上面有一圈閃亮亮的圓圈。也不要錯過紅桑子長泡芙，是餅廚Reinhard的得意力作，以酸酸甜甜的紅桑子忌廉釀入香脆的泡芙內，有著強烈的對比。
最上層有【Rose Scented Lychee Mousse】、【White Chocolate Pistachio Dome】、【Red Fruit Mille-feuille】&【Strawberry Lollipops】幾款，與藍莓那款互相輝映的有以前紅桑子醬及荔枝慕絲釀入酒紅色朱古力杯內的一款，帶點Ispahan的味道，好味。小弟更喜愛紅桑子的千層酥，雖然樣子不同，但味道卻不錯，十足十一件雪糕三文治。最後，我更拿了波板糖去送給朋友，很有趣的。
尖沙咀朗庭酒店的lobby lounge在今個暑假一直閉關裝修﹐雖然期間afternoon tea搬了去另一間餐廳食，但始終氣氛不同，沒有高貴的感覺 。終於它在9月尾以新面貌重開啦！裝修完好像上了妝的女性明艷照人，大堂中間掛了盞bling-bling的吊燈, 細看原來是由無數粒燈泡組成，突然想到如果要逐粒清潔都幾麻煩 。新沙發的顏色以淺色為主，看著坐著挺倘徉舒服。甫坐下，侍應殷勤地介紹tea set, 期待已久啦，menu 改了--之前的Tiffin Tea 變成Wonderland and Wedgwood。不知道與"Alice in the Wonderland " 有無關係呢? "=o=" Wedgwood 個set 跟杯champagne & 餐前小食，但稍貴，對於我們四個又想吃得高貴卻又想實惠的人，最後還是選了Wonderland set, 包 tea set & 茶。
茶先上，每人一壺自選的英式茶，新茶具賞心悅目，在雪白的瓷器上綻放了艷麗的玫瑰花，湖水藍更將與它互相映襯。我要了個Strawberry and kiwi tea, 一倒出來就果香撲鼻，粉紅色的茶在杯內迴旋，這胭脂般的甘露可能會將雙脣染紅呢！慢啜一口，味道卻是淡淡的茶香，沒有想像中濃郁的果甜，當然啦，這是茶！我竟然錯覺自己在喝果汁，自我莞爾。經靚女侍應介紹才知道茶系列與茶具都是用英國名瓷器牌子Wedgwood的，再喝一口茶，今次嚐到高貴的味道
