Woke up at 10 O' Clock, and since I didn't want to eat cha chan ting, we instead tried something new. We had seen the classified in Happy Valley many times before, and this time we just decided to try it. Finally..
Anyways we found out the ordering was individually based, and the menu was very flexible. I ordered a classic egg benedict, pain au chocolat, darjeeling tea, with side order of english sausage. And a spanish chozziro. We also ordered 2 more egg benedict, 2 side order of sausages, 1 of ham, 1 of bacon and 1 more darjeeling tea, 1 caffe latte, and a apple juice.
The food was really good. The benedicts were very well prepared, the egg was like a onzen egg, which was awesome, and there was ham in the benedict. A very good benedict. The spanish beans with toast and tomatoes was also very good, because the beans tasted good, the toast was well toasted, and the tomatoes were seasoned well.
The tea was ok, but it was not strong enough in taste.
The staff were very friendly, and the people there were also very chill. Liked the place a lot.
We payed 470 for 4 people. A good breakfast deal.

Good day today! Get some time out of school 2nd day of the week. So got up had a good breakfast close to home in Stanley, then we went to this awesome place to have lunch. Just me and my family.
We come here maybe a few times a year, always in good weather, and it is a good experience most of the time. Except when there's someone smoking right behind you.
So we sat inside, even though it was a good day, and ordered our food. We ordered tandoori Lamb shoulder, seafood platter for two, spagetti bolonaise, caesar salad with chicken, and a spagetti with meatballs for my sister(baby set). We ended up ordering 2 bottles of san peregrino, and 2 cups of rose wine for my dad.
The food was good.
The Lamb shoulder was cooked well, it had good taste, and the vegetables cooked with it had absorbed the good tasting lamb, tandoori style.
The seafood platter which was not much, but the oysters were very fresh, and the crab was very good too. I didn't really mind the clam and mussels, but they weren't special.
The salad was a good salad, albeit normal food, yet the green was very fresh.
I liked the environment, and overall the food was good, this place has very steady quality of food. If you can afford it, come here and have a good time, whether it is with your family or friends.

It was my brothers birthday, so we decided to CELEBRATE!! Because we had booked another restaurant for the night, we went here for lunch. As the recent nuclear power plant crisis had been the attention of the media for so long, people really are getting scared of Japanese food. Only around half the tables were filled. A super weird Nobu Saturday. Anyways we ordered our stuff, I got a sashimi and sushi combo lunch, so did my cousin, we both went with no salmon. Then the birthday boy only got a sushi lunch. No salmon also. My uncle and aunt got the pick your own bento box and normal bento box respectively. My dad went with a tempura cake rice or something. Mom went with the crab roll lunch. My grandma got the tempura lunch set.
Basically it was a lot of food, and because I only ate my own, I'll only talk about mine. With my set there came 3 slices of tuna sashimi, 2 slices of some white fish sashimi, 2 slices of fatty tuna sashimi. There was a conpoy sushi, shrimp sushi, and 6 pieces of cucumber sushi. It was a good meal. And with the set came a salad and miso soup. I LOVE this place. Although not the BEST Japanese food I have eaten, it is close to the top. The fusion elements are very well used in the food and its awesome. Don't expect prices to be cheap though. We had a VIP card and the meal still cost 2,000 for 10. And we didn't order expensive. Our card gives us 20% off. So the original cost was 2400.

We had heard the old one had moved, so we decided to go and have a nice Sunday brunch there. We arrived very early, one of the very first people there today. We had 5 people.
We ordered some dimsum. Normal stuff. Basically the tea is really good, the dimsums alright. Mediocre meal, and at least theres no MSG in the food. Props for that.

Went here after I was shopping with 2 of my friends. They had been buying a ton of clothing, and then they said they were hungry (so was I), so we went to this restaurant. My friend had been here before, but I hadn't, so we decided to try anyway... (lol)
There was a lot of people, although the recent Japan crises meant there was less people going to Japanese restaurants in general.
We sat down, and then we started ordering. (No duh)... I got the medium sized tuna fish rice, with both minced tuna and sliced. My friend got the normal, $98 one, and my other friend got the biggest one. And also a sashimi of "油甘魚". We also got spinach and tofu. Not a fan of vegies..
When the stuff came, my first thought was if I would be full from eating the rice and all that. It didn't seem like much, but when I started eating I LIKED IT! The minced tuna was ok, albeit a bit dry, but no fishy taste. The tuna slices was better. It had no tendon bits, and it had a good, fresh taste. The sashimi was alright, but I didn't like how they sliced it so thick, because it made the taste not as strong...
We paid 650 for 3 people, it was worth it, because it wasn't expensive but the food had achieved this level of quality. I was impressed, and so were my 2 friends.
I do recommend this place, although I think lunch would have less people. I think you could try and book this place, probably don't have to wait then.

I had booked this place early in the morning, booked it for 12:30, for 4 people.
Went there first, my driver drove me, and my brother went there himself. Anyways, I arrived early, my brother arrived 5 minutes later. He ordered a escargot and pork chop rice, then I ordered a double leg rice. I always order that... Anyways, for some reason the other 2 people arrived almost an hour late, which by the time we finished already...
The soup that came with the rice, was ox-tail soup. It tasted very good, I thought it had a good, genuine flavor, although the ricey stuff at the bottom was not really good to me... But I know they're really good for health.
The rice was awesome. I thought the beef part of it was overcooked, but the pork leg was much more yummy. The rice was a bit hard, but I come here not really for the food, but mostly for the memories. The foods fine by the way, but it seems a lot of people are here for memories I think...
Anyways.. we left almost 2 hours of being there, because the other 2 people finally arrived to eat their lunch.. haha.. The desert was cake or jelly. We went for the cake. Quite the big mistake. It was no good... Just go for the jelly, you'll thank me later!

Went there this morning at around 10. There was a lot of people. I go there a lot, almost always more then twice a week.
Because we were kind of late, it took quite some time to actually get seats. Once we got seated, I ordered a pork chop and ham noodle, my parent got the"紅腸" noodle, and my brother got the satay beef noodle. We got two milk tea, both without ice, and my brother got the cold ovaltine.
The stuff took almost 10 minutes to arrive, because there was a lot of people. My noodle was awesome, although the pork chop was a tiny bit overcooked, the noodle was cooked just right. Love this place.
Go there yourself and see if you like it!

Went there yesterday for lunch with my mom and sister. We booked our table for 12:30, and we ordered our stuff.
I ordered a tuna fish rice, and my mom got the sukiyaki wagyu beef. My sister just shared... she wasn't hungry.
Anyways there was still a lot of people, despite the fact that many people are now scared of Japanese food because of the radiation leakage in Fukishima, Japan.
When the food arrived, I could tell the rice was good. I started digging in, although my moms set had not arrived yet. First thing, was the tuna mince was not the best. There was no "fishy" taste in it, but there wasn't enough fresh in it, not like when me and my family visited Hokkaido just this winter. That was alright.
The two normal slices of tuna, weren't bad, the texture was alright, but there was some "筋“ in it, so it was ok, but you could taste some not so good bits.
Finally, my oh my. The fatty tuna (2 pieces). That was awesome. I saved it for last because I could tell it was good. The color was not "dead", but it had a very good, lively color. I bit down on it, and man, it was good. It almost melted in my mouth, and it tasted great. I finished my food quick. It was good.
I tried some of my moms beef, it was ok, but not as good as in Japan, when we ate a beef sukiyaki in Sendai.
Overall, I recommend you to come here if you enjoy Japanese food, as the environment is quiet and nice. The price wasn't expensive, as my dad had 1 of the around dozen of card that gave use 20% off. XD
We still paid 500 some for the lunch. We had 3 people though. Good price

Me and my dad had some tea today, just to talk and stuff. We didn't have much time, but I still ordered an afternoon cake set and he ordered a double expresso.
The staff were very busy and you could tell it was a bit understaffed. It took quite some time to get them to clean our table, get new cutlery, and our orders. I got a blueberry cheese cake and a latte.
When the stuff came, I could smell the coffee instantly. It is not the type of coffee you see in Starbucks, much more strong in flavor and scent. The cake was ok, with a nice bottom crust. The cream wasn't bad, it had a good taste and it actually had a very smooth texture. The only problem was the jam on top wasn't good, as it had a very artificial sweet taste, and also the blueberries on top were sour as heck.
The coffee was almost perfect. Me and my dad could tell the bean was of Arabica type, as the aftertaste was very strong and there was no sour taste. Bad coffee has a sour and somewhat less strong taste, because it is made in lower regions, whereas because Arabica is grown in higher regions, it has a slower grow time, less moisture, and therefore the bean has more taste.
We had to rush, because we had somewhere else to go, and paid and left quickly. It was $190 for that.
Not bad.

Was getting some gas for my car, so I decided to stop by for a cup of Fro-Yo. First time to this shop, but anyways, lets cut to the chase.
I got the green tea flavor, because it seemed more exotic and worth a try. Then I also got gummy bears, colorful sprinkles, dragon-fruit and strawberries. The price was 31 dollars.
The green tea Fro-Yo tasted good. It wasn't too sweet, but it had a strong green tea flavor and also a very smooth texture. The toppings were normal toppings, but at least the price seemed ok.
So overall, I give this shop 8/10 for the food, and the service wasn't bad...
