之前聽人講Kyoto Joe的食物差左, 好耐無去過. Search OPEN RICE見到佢地宣傳Sushi Buy One Get One Free, 不妨落去一試. 點知由於時間關係, promotion已完, 唯有點餐牌食物. 個侍應推介Chef Recommendation入面的炸牡丹蝦卷. 我心想平時出面食牡丹蝦唔平, 好似生食抵d. 點知一試, 發現原來牡丹蝦用來做蝦卷效果不錯, 可以介紹朋友.

食完飯後仲有甜品 試食free charge -日式版Crème Brulee & Tiramisu, 味道不俗. 聽人講有時未必可以作準, 自己親身試過最實際

星期六約左幾個朋友到蘭柱坊食飯, 上到去竟然發現有大大個招牌(就係Kyoto Joe)宣傳壽司買一送一｡ 當時8點幾, 唔算太旺. 侍應任我地選擇座上或下層, 我地揀左上層張4人枱｡ 一座低個菲律賓侍應就俾3、4張餐牌我地, 又話有抗金融海嘯1蚊特價酒｡ 我地抱全唔蝕底心態總共叫左4杯 (最衰限住一人一杯, 想叫多d就要正價60蚊). 跟住叫左8件半價壽司無欺場, size同正價時一樣大｡ 不過講特別, 就要數以下兩款菜式:
- Toro Prosciutto ($240), 意大利名既日式菜, 有8片薄切吞拿魚腩, 經過煙薰炮製加上青檸醋, 味道夠清新｡
- Beef Tempura ($160), 講真用蝦或蔬菜做既天婦羅食得多, 用牛肉做既未試過｡ 一口一啖的牛肉粒以天婦羅式製法, 面脆內裡肉汁juicy, 口感特別, 值得推介｡
- 另外, 招牌沙律($145)必食｡

埋單計4個比埋tips大約800蚊, 以食物水準來說合理, 可以有下次｡

First time I hadlunch here and had a bad experience. Pricy food, crwoded place and under staffed during lunch times.

My friends ordered a california roll to supplement the seafood ramen (HKD120). Bite one in half and saw a 2 inch black hair between the roll. Very digusting! I will never go back!

難得到蘭桂芳午膳，同事帶隊到此豪一豪。
午餐全都$100以上，點了一個$175的Lunch Box，食物有

麵豉湯－－豆腐滑滑的，湯的濃淡恰到好處，不錯
刺身（三文魚x3+油甘魚x3）－－厚切，大概有1cm的厚度，油甘魚尤其甜美。
炸蝦加洲卷x4－－炸蝦的油味很重，吃了少許便放棄了
牛肉薯餅－－牛肉切成小切的，和平日攪碎的口感很不同，可以一試
冷麵－－普通，沒特別

沒有甜品和餐飲，但已經吃得飽飽。鄰桌的四人OL平均每人都只吃了半份而已…

以價錢計當然是貴，但刺身掙了不少分數，還是值笑臉的。

I went there for lunch last week with 4 other friends. They all ordered suishi set and i was the only one who ordered cooked food. So i really don't expect mine would come first, WITHIN 10 SEC !!!!! Very obvious, it was prepared for quite some times already, and it was COLD. And my friends also said the suishi was only up to supermarket standard. So i dun think i will go again.

I have tried writing earlier about my experience on Oct 9 but it didn't get posted. So here I am, the 2nd time hope I will get luckier this time. I was waiting for my friend around 1245pm on Tuesday, Oct 9 and saw a big fat rat (one foot-long) ran out of the kitchen. The rat made a round in the back part of the restaurant where I sat, with a sushi bar (not the basement). It climbed up the chair of a guy sitting at the sushi counter and hopped back onto the floor. I was really shocked to see a rat as big! I meant, we are not at the rat alley here!? The restaurant apologized and offered us lunch elsewhere but honestly I had already lost my appetite. The guy who was touched by the rat decided to stay on for lunch, I truly hope he did not get sick that day.
It's very hard for me to gain confidence in the restaurant again, especially Japanese food involves a lot of raw food!

I was waiting for my friend to arrive for lunch at the table in the inner dining hall, on the main level just this Tuesday. All of a sudden something running really past by the sushi counter caught my eyes. When I turned around I saw this big, fat and grey rat running under those chairs lined by the sushi counter. I couldn't believe what I saw so by the time I managed to react and jump up from my seat (and yelled 老鼠呀!!!), the rat had already climbed up another guest's chair and landed on his arm. He was sitting at the counter with a lady and when we all escaped to the main dining hall, he told me the rat actually hopped from his arm onto the lady's dress. The manager offered new tables for all of us but my friend arrived at that point and we decided to go somewhere else. The guy and the lady, however, decided to stay on... I hope at least the meal was on the house and they did not have diarrhoea afterwards. The manager apologized to us on our way out and swore that it was the first time it happened to her. (it'd better be!!!!)
To be honest, I will never go back there... I thought something like this would only happen in rat alley! You know Japanese food are not always cooked so I do think hygiene is VERY important for Japanese restaurants.
I couldn't eat much for that entire day...

起初冇乜！招呼算好,點知當我去洗手間陣,
突然聞到好大陣煙味！心諗冇理由架？
2007年1月1巳全面禁煙.但好明顯係有陣煙味？
原來從布後有人食煙！仲係外人.
本來想同個黑口黑面女理投訴,但見到佢尊容..
見鬼（外人）就笑笑口,見本地人就狗眼看人底面口
都費事講咁多！點知唔比人加料！
男友話:好地地拉埋條廉一定有啦！
於是我好快食完就走！
估唔到蘭桂坊飧廳敢向政府挑戰！
公然比人食煙.真係不知所謂！

Came for dinner tonight with 2 friends. The 3 of us ordered:

- Spicy Tuna on Lettuce
- Standard Sashimi for 2 persons
- Yakitori (2 orders or 4 sticks)
- Seafood Yasai Itame (fried veggie with seafood)
- Beef goohan (beef pot rice)

The food was very food, esp. the sashimi which was fresh and thickly cut.

燒茄子$7X--唔濃味,幾清,有d三文魚子o係面

燒紅吞拿魚鮮蕃茄沙律$160--個沙律汁較得好省胃,酸酸的,羅馬生菜同蕃茄都好新鮮,吞拿魚半生熟,好大碟

2支大Asahi (冇生啤叫,失望)

服務都幾好

《日本料理周第七回~日式fusion》

對於fusion沒有好感，所以平時甚少試。尤以日式fusion而言，因為自己對日本料理的食物標準，對於一些地方是有近乎頑固的執著。不過「甚少」又不等如「絕不」，如是日，型仔老外攝記還飯債，就來了這裡。

地方是不錯的，兩個人坐在上層的二人檯，因為他是煙民﹝其時是零六年十一月中旬，室內還可以吸煙﹞。見餐牌中的午市定食，除了照燒雞扒及薄煎牛肉之外，大部份也有三文魚刺身在內，已經有一點啟示。要試就試到底，索性要了個刺身壽司定食，看出來是個什麼樣子。

喝過熱茶，抺手的是一塊包裝的濕紙巾，凍凍的感覺，比熱毛巾差很多；定食除了刺身及壽司外，還有前菜、味噌湯及白飯一碗，未計味道，都應該一定吃得飽。刺身是章紅、三文及吞拿各兩片，三文送了給友人，章紅及吞拿都算新鮮，但切得太厚了，個人覺得，其實刺身也不一定是「厚切」才好的，某些肉質是絕對不宜厚切的，章紅就是其一；壽司全是反卷，包得不大公整，邊位高高低低的，功夫可以再好，亦當然可以「企理」一點。炸蝦的不過不失，不過就連元氣都大做特做這味炸蝦加州卷，已不再特別。另兩位是牛油果及青瓜的，沒有問題。最後兩件竟然是蟹柳及蛋~~都不知多久沒吃這些魚肉加化學味的蟹柳了，估不到是在一個百多元的壽司定食中出現，一新耳目，但失望；

先付是醬油撈過的芽菜，乏善可陳；白飯竟然是長身的普通米飯，煲幾粒珍珠米也不能嗎？味噌湯豆腐粒及海帶都多，是全個定食中，比較滿意的一味。

侍應招呼不錯，禮貌也好。

定食不包餐後飲品，要多杯熱咖啡，埋單應該是每位近二百。以這個價錢，在中環區也可以輕易的找到比這裡好的，坦白講，想不出再來的理由。或者，人家說來也要儘量婉拒。

came here a lot when i was little to lunch with daddy. today my girl-friend and i came here to embrace the start of her OL life (thank god i haven't started yet)..
i had the black cod fish and tekka don; and her the chicken yakitori and uni don.
the portions were big and in fact quite overwhelming. though i prefer sushi hiro for the same price and better service.....
a good choice of jap food in central though (better than the H something at the LKF tower)

I come to Kyoto Joe at least once a week because I work nearby and the food is generally good, the atmosphere is comfortable and because there are not too many japanese restaurants in the area...

Personal recommendations:
Spicy seafood udon
rolls (spicy trio, spicy tuna & salmon roll)
grilled soft chicken bone
kyoto salad (although once the sashimi didn't taste that fresh - had to exchange it)
Miso cod


Not that highly recommended:
was not too impressed with their rolls involving cream cheese.

串燒又係普普通通...
生牛肉都係麻麻o地

在中環食lunch, 仲要食日本野, 想平都幾難.
去過kyoto joe幾次, 第一次去個感覺係有ｄ"不西不日”, menu 全用英文, 有點怪.
不過, 食物質素& services 都尚算滿意. lunch set $120-200. set 的魚生都幾新蘚...凍豆腐好大件, 食唔晒. 唯一要彈是點魚生的醬油偏咸,washabi不是自己磨的.
有次食完有水果送, 不過另外兩次就無送, 好唔consistant.
