Last night, I went to have dinner by invitation of a friend. Our table was set inside a spacious room. Dinner started at about 8:30. Food were fine in both quality and quantity. Though we drank much and our voices were a bit too loud, the waiter and waitress served us very well. Our only complaint was the fish which were over-cooked. Before leaving, we were surprised that a senior managerial staff came in asking for our comments on their service and food. Well, it was more than OK!
It could not be worse, coz it is the worst on earth (and I\'m not exaggerating)! I always wondered why people would waste time on writing negative comments about restaurants that they did not like but now I understand. Asiana’s service made me feel that I must do so, to help locals and tourists not to get fleeced. We are talking about a restaurant that has been in existence for about 30 years, but this is not a reason that we should tolerate bad services: The servers have an attitude, the managers are worse. Here are a few examples for what happened on Sunday, June 10, 2007 when I went there for dinner with a friend:
1. After waiting for more than 30 minutes, we were informed that a dish we ordered was not available. 2. One of the chefs kept on chatting with his friends who sat next to our table, why didn’t he just sit down. 3. Just be careful of what they charge you. They did not serve us any appetizers (what they called “preserved vegetables”) but charged us HK$10 per head. They charge tea separately (I believe it’s HK$7/head). When we pointed out that we did not even see any “preserved vegetables”, the server said “oh well we are very busy but at least you had the tea”...it was kind of like “consider yourself lucky”. 4. I shared the beer with my friend but we were charged two bottles of beer. They did rectify this after. 5. My friend threw up twice after the meal: She vomited once in the lavatory at Asiana and once when she got home. (And I had a diarrhea on the next day). I called Asiana to complain about this and their lousy service, I was told to send them the medical certificate (!), no apologies made. 6. I told to two “managers”who were unprofessional and rude and not helpful. They should be thankful that I withhold their names here. One of the managers insinuated that what I wanted was a free dinner and said he would refund me out of his own pocket. 7. The Visa payment went through on June 13 anyway and when I called to complain, the manager said it was the bank that processed the payment, not them, and that they were completely out of control (can any consumer believe that?!) He hung up on me every time I called. 8. When they finally let me say something, I let them know that what I asked was a simple gesture from them by admitting that their service was not acceptable. I was only willing to pay 50% of the charges. They then asked me to fax my particulars to them so that they can process the refund. They refused that I give them my account number over the phone because “we cannot just credit the account of anyone who gives us his/her account on the phone”(do you think this is a reason?). 9. The manager said there are many other restaurants in Hong Kong so I am sure he does not value his clients. The managers asked me to bring my receipt there to get my refund. Honestly I will not bother to spend time on finding my receipt, it doesn’t matter to me. What is more important is that I have to let my friends know that Asiana Restaurant think that they are well established and invincible, so they can afford to treat their clients like stupid. Conclusion: Asiana is worse than any “Cha Chan Ten”(local tea houses that usually sell egg tarts) or kiosque, at least you don’t have to check your bill twice at those places. What is most important, since Asiana doesn\'t treat their clients seriously, why bother to go there? They are too busy to serve you!

乳豬及小菜皆有水準
結果,食物質素真係唔錯,而且服務態度亦良好,叫佢開酒,換碟非常快手亦無黑面,究竟係我好彩定係人地咁唔好彩就真係唔知。所以我決定上黎俾番個笑面佢!
叫左半隻乳豬,唔太肥有鮮豬肉咪又卜卜脆!
另外叫左花龍躉2味,tempura略嫌多左酒,但蒸garlic珍珠米真係好好味!
仲有洋蔥紅酒焗桶蠔,惹味非常~ 蠔亦肥嘟嘟,不過因為好大隻所以一煲得4隻.. 多人一定唔夠分!
仲叫左蔬菜,壽面同一個唔記得既小菜... 全部對板!
最抵係corkage只係20蚊支.. 勁抵!
呢d老字號仲keep到有水準, 真係值得支持呀! 唔係食黎食去都係稻香, 福臨門, 好悶!

凍冰冰點心,火辣辣炒米
超搞笑!流沙包不再流沙!因為裡面凍冰冰!
不過我平時食係OK架!味道係好架!
之後,食埋個XO醬咩咩炒米,嘩。火辣辣!!
真係唔知搞咩鬼,可能今日有幾圍酒席要準備,因為我見點心車都少左。。
我或者都會比多一次機會佢既。。

難吃
乳豬
合格的甜品
先來了預訂的乳豬、算是皮脆但乏善足陳。惟這已是此頓飯較好的一道菜。
個人平常很愛吃魚香茄子,但這裏的魚香茄子鹹魚味過重,簡直是魚臭茄子,加上太油膩,不好吃
脆皮豆腐味道不差、但原因是根本無味道。宮保醤爆鶏丁卻較像宮保西芹、鶏粒少得可憐。
麺豉油麥菜和上湯莧菜均不合格、死死氣的。冬菇芋頭鶏粒煲仔飯更是差勁、一點兒的香氣也沒有、吃下只像無味的冬菇、芋頭和鶏粒加在普通的白飯上。
甜品可説是這餐最容易入ロ的。有紫米露 、紅和綠豆沙三個選擇。
結論是我以後也不會再來。

比預期更好呀
我地7個人叫左個HKD1000既套餐,
1 -乳豬什錦幾好味喎, 有叉燒/汾提/豬腳仔-真係唔錯
2 - 蒜頭排骨 , 幾野味但咸左dd
3 - 一個黃金魚券西芹 (黃金蝦就食過黃金魚就第一次) 都唔錯
4 - 鮙
4 - 因為一魚兩食, 魚頭用左黎蒸 ( 因本人唔食魚頭so 冇意見)
5 - 蝦 + 米粉..米粉係濕濕地都幾好味同第一次食
6 - 密糖豆炒牛粒 ,
7 - 西炒飯
8 - 甜品 ( 紫米露 + 綠豆沙 ) 唔錯
9 - 生果
包左 COKE / 7-UP 共 6
服務幾好, 有waiter 走不時係度 ( 不代表佢地唔忙 ) , 有換過碟.
有免費代客泊車, 但當然會比 Tips 啦, 我地都泊左3個鍾比左HK20 蚊LAW
呀仲要係我地7個人怕唔夠個部長話都夠既唔需要話再特別再+ 餸

十分失望,永不錄用!!!
適逢尋日(年廿九)一行十一人食團年飯,早於一個星期前已打電話訂檯。並於訂檯時清楚說明:(1)晚上8點半,(2)訂一隻乳豬、一隻填鴨、十二隻壽飽及(2)當晚係可以用DBS信用卡的優惠。
點之我地尋晚早十五分鐘去到後,首先比人話,你地早左到,點會有檯比你。ok,咁我地等,等到8:45終於有檯啦。點之點菜時,居然話我地無訂到乳豬,而當晚既乳豬又已經賣哂!!! 想搵人解釋,等左十分鐘先有一個類似經理既人黎,話我地真係無訂到,佢地無做漏野,佢地張單明明無寫我地有訂乳豬!!!!
個類似經理既人後未話仲有小小乳豬,可以做一個燒味拚盤比我地。好,咁你係未唔收我錢先,又話無可能。
到點菜時,佢地真係當我地第一次黎食(註:以下所有野我地之前係佢個到係食過,雖不算上好味,但絕對唔係今次咁rubbish):
(1) 片皮鴨- 所有白色皮都係痴埋一舊,鴨又細,話佢係片皮,根本就係斬件。
(2) 糖糟魚- 條魚唔可以再細,細既程度可以話係同大家樂個d蒸魚套餐條魚差唔多!! 另外,個汁係只有汁lor.. 平時所見既其他配料(如青紅椒)係一粒都無!!
其他送菜,亦都係平平無奇。
好寒酸咁食完餐團年飯,準備拎張dbs信用卡埋單啦,個條類似經理既人居然話尋晚dbs信用卡無優惠!!
真係火都黎埋,打哂電話黎問有無優惠,你話有,我先黎。個條類似經理既人仲夠膽叫有拎左信用卡promotion board 比我地睇,好,個到未寫住星期一至四適用,假期前夕唔適用lor。咁個類似經理既人先話咁我地照樣比返九折你地lor。仲好似我地錯哂,佢費時同我地煩咁。
總之一句講哂,呢間野,永不錄用。
呢d完全無customer service,同講過野唔算數既鋪頭,大家要小心。

訂枱無枱, 呆等!!
今日(一月三十日), 約了同事提早食團年午餐\, 都已經知道佢\地經常俾唔到枱, 訂了一點鐘枱, 我提早10分鐘到, 12:50分到. 但都係無枱!!!! 超谷氣, 問極都話就快有.. 最後.. 等.. 等.. 等.. 等到1:30分先俾到枱我地, 重話要同人地夾枱.. 有無攪錯! 算了, 便快快出去攞點心.. 點知接近所有點心都售罄, 無煎蘿蔔糕, 馬蹄糕, 無蛋撻仔, 無燒腩仔, 連最起碼要有的蝦餃燒賣腸粉都沒有, 剩下奶皇飽, 叉燒飽, 菜餃. 我們唯有叫炒飯食. 我們快快食完便埋單走人, 實在氣結.
喜萬年是一間經營了三十年的老牌酒家, 他到今時今日仍然存在實在有他的吸引力, 如果唔係, 早在\"沙士\"期間已經關門大吉. 但到了今時今日, 他們不但沒有給我們這批顧客見到他進步的地方, 反而那這不負責任的態度一直沒有改善, 實在令人憤怒. 在灣仔, 酒樓多的是, 有富臨, 德興, 海天..等等, 如果喜萬年再唔改善一下他的服務質數, 在不久的張來, 一定會給人家\"離棄\".

地點問題
這裏仍然是推車仔賣傳統點心,給你的感覺可能是舊,卻不是殘舊破爛或了無生氣,至少地方整潔,侍應服務周到,人客不多不過是地點問題,要是我住在左近,相信會間中過來。
假日還有特價,大中小點$10,當然亦是吸引之處。
鳳爪和頂點的蝦餃都做得不錯,前者夠腍滑而汁美味,後者則皮薄而保持彈性且不黐口。
不過未知是否叉燒包備受冷落,蒸來又蒸去的至皮偏濕軟,煎芋頭糕亦嫌鬆散了些。
埋單只是$69,滿意了。

唔得啦。
首先要投訴聽電話的不付責任。
我訂位的時候好清楚問那個女的,有乜菜係要預訂,佢淨係話“乳豬”同“鹽焗雞”。去到想叫“蜜汁金錢雞”,原來要係要預訂,我同侍應講,你聽電話個無講喎,佢都係話“唔好意思,係要預訂”,激氣。重有,乳豬可以訂半隻架!又唔提醒我,如果早知道,我就會訂半隻乳豬和一隻鹽焗雞,加埋都係$420。而家只叫了乳豬全體,要$400!
大良炒鮮奶$68:唔講唔知係炒鮮奶,似蛋白。鹹D。
懷舊蕎香生炒骨$58:唔算難食,但一定唔可以叫做好啦。
薑蔥焗基圍蝦$48:蝦唔得,又甩頭甩骨,不新鮮是也。
腐皮三星卷$48:腐皮韌,唔知有乜好食。
銀芽菜花炒鴨胸$48:一般啦,本身不太欣賞這個。
脆皮豆腐$38:味道好,裏面很熱和滑,但只有六小塊,乜事咁貴?
荔芋椰汁牛肉煲$48:好似“粥”,芋頭太多溶掉了,椰味淡了,梳打牛肉!
蜜汁燒鱔$48:我不喜歡吃鱔,只吃了一小口,個汁都唔蜜汁。同學說魚有點腥。
蜜汁燒排骨$48:絕對不是我喜歡的燒排骨,似叉燒,太多汁(稀的),不香。
紅豆沙(送):我覺得好食呀。另外還有綠豆沙(淡了點)、紫米露和果盤。
整晚乏善足陳,就連大家說好吃的乳豬,我覺得合格,好似我成班人白石燒只乳豬好食D喎。
