I ordered some chicken masala, naan and milk tea masala. At first they brought some crackers, I started to be afraid that it's supposed to be the naan.
Luckily it was just an appetizer. The actual naan they had was good, soft and bubbly. The meal itself also. Will be going back.

在中午的時候先打電話去預約,因為沒看到用餐時間所以約了三點,服務人員直接說可以就掛電話了!
(可是他們三點半就休息了!!)
到了那邊之後點了椰汁腰果雞肉(說好的腰果呢?),椰汁羊肉,黃飯,起司烤餅

入口只有椰奶味跟香料味,雞肉雖軟嫩但是無甜味,咖哩裡只有香料的味道吃不到肉的鮮甜
椰汁羊肉咖哩(小辣)
入口是很重的香料味跟咖哩味,但是一樣完全吃不出羊肉的味道,羊肉很軟嫩,但是....
我們一直很懷疑他其實上了牛肉給我們...橫吃豎吃都不像羊肉啊!!
黃飯(配飯用的)
男友咬一咬還咬到香料,飯很硬,實實在在的『粒粒分明』- -"
起司烤餅(配咖哩用的)
算是今天還可以的一道,但是!!!!以我吃過好吃的烤餅來說,他還差太多了,過厚且沒有烤餅應有的風味。
總結:
不知道是不真的是因為要休息的關係,服務生品質非常的差(超懷疑他上錯菜),上的餐點也不如預期,
我男友還說他吃到嘴都快歪了 囧!!!!!!!

今晚去尖沙咀食飯,原本諗住食咖哩王,不過去到樓下個陣時派左張呢間新德理卡片俾我,咁就決定改行程去呢間舖試試啦~~
本身期望不大,但有驚喜喎!首先有個餐前薄餅,d綠色既醬(唔知係薄荷定青咖喱)辣辣地幾醒胃。之後有個炸魚柳,好入味又夠香口,可以見到d魚肉裡面都醃到變晒黃色,應該醃左好耐。
另外仲叫左炒咖喱雜菜,不過呢個味道只屬一般。主菜有咖喱雞,咖喱羊,勁辣咖喱牛腩(不過我覺得只係小辣),樣樣都幾好味,加上印尼烤餅/白飯非常配合。
雖然呢到d咖喱唔係話好特別,但係呢度可以食到咁ok既質素,已經係非常值得一讚!

十年前到重慶大廈吃咖哩,門外聚集樓上不同食店的印度/巴基斯坦人,雖然各為其主,但不自覺地築成一道人牆,務求搶生意,很多食客看見這個場面,即刻卻步。
現今再沒有以前的墟陷,不過仍有少數人在兜客,我們像打美式足球,只要一早有目標,無須理會他們,一個箭步到電梯門口達陣,頗為有趣。不過,你想避開這班人的話,可以選擇行後樓梯。
已不知來過C座三樓新德里多少次,十多年前由朋友帶我來,時至今日,變成我到重慶大廈晚飯的首選。
女友到過七樓咖哩王,還還沒來過新德里,這晚便帶她來試試,餐廳一如以往,人頭擁擁。
基本上也是吃那幾味,洋蔥圈不像快餐店的貨色,外層較薄,質感也淋身一點,不過洋蔥絲的味道頗突出。
多年來,喜歡這裡的咖哩角,吃過多次,仍然香脆可口,咖哩雜菜不是很辣的級別,但味道夠濃香。
Chicken Tikka上桌時熱辣辣,烤雞的質感還很嫩,也很惹味。
新德里燴羊肉非常好吃,羊肉夠騷香,肉質軟淋,醬汁濃凋中帶點點甜,用來送芝士Naan,或者是印度黃飯,一樣是最佳拍檔。
本身新德里已經夠便宜,不收加一,如今憑著貴網的優惠,還有九折優惠。
物價比十多年前上升不少,數十元一個人的消費已不可能,折扣後只是每人一百多點點,說到底,仍然很抵吃。所以,人氣不減當年,飲食網站內的好評,繼續不斷上升。
已不知來過C座三樓新德里多少次,十多年前由朋友帶我來,時至今日,變成我到重慶大廈晚飯的首選。

某日看到一個飲食介紹印度菜,從來沒有吃過印度菜,也對印度菜沒有好感,主持人吃著素咖哩角,但看見她一咬下去,內裡的青豆薯泥立刻從嘴角流出來,吃得津津有味。
在「開飯」搜尋一下印度菜,發現最多好評就是重慶大廈內的印度菜館。這個地方一向給我神秘的感覺,每次經過門前也快步走過。不過美食在前怎可錯過,便拉著白老鼠帶我去嘗嘗那兒的美味。
有點像泰國的芒果沙冰,味道酸一點,有點像奶昔。
形狀獨特像個三角錐體,味道有點辣,但反而刺激食慾,難怪女主持吃得津津有味。
雞肉和魚肉也很入味,魚較鮮味,是有質素的魚柳。
烤餅不太油膩,內裡夾著芝士,切開一拉,芝士立刻流出,看得我口水直流。不過只吃了一小塊已把我的肚子塞得滿滿,當然少不了頭痛的後果呢!

Rose soda: this came out fluorescent pink, but besides the obvious artificial colour, tasted good.
Masala tea (chai): tastes home-made. creamy, and spicy. very satisfying. ordered a second one.
Veggie Pakora: this was heavy on the fried batter, but the inside was delicious large pieces of fresh veggies. i am used to sliced mixed veggies, but the whole pieces were equally good.
Chicken tikka: the chicken was mostly dark meat (which was disappointing for us, but may be something others like), but moist.
Chicken tikka masala: the masala sauce was good-creamy, well spiced, although we didn't think to order it spicy enough--it might have been better this way.
Gulab Jamun: too soft. i prefer when i can bite into it rather than it just dissolving in my mouth.
Ice cream (Malai Kulfi): this came to the table and all of a sudden there was an overwhelming aroma of something like Lysol. it might have been the rose water? i don't know--it just tasted very perfumey. the texture was also inexplicably gritty.
mint chutney: DELICIOUS
tamarind chutney: DELICIOUS
Butter naan: very doughy, not crispy, no discernible butter. but a large portion which would have been a plus if it was better naan.
Atmosphere: we walked in to the restaurant and it looked like a windowless cave with fluorescent blue mood lighting. and it smelled like a dirty public restroom. not a good first impression. (to get there you either have to go up a cramped service elevator or a frighteningly dirty stairwell). but, when we first arrived at the mansion, we were greeted at the door with the restaurant promoters who led the way through the maze up to the elevator which was helpful.
Service: we arrived shortly after 6pm and there was a table right away. service was prompt and friendly. there seemed to be a ratio of one waiter per table so it appeared bustling especially for the small size of the place.
Overall, the meal and atmosphere were disappointing. But the chai is something I would come back for if I was in the area, and the chutneys would make me want to order the samosas next time to eat them with.

每次跟朋友吃食印度餐,此間必在三甲列,味正宗價錢合理,是能叫人再光顧的那種餐廳,可惜,今晚的經驗,最少令一團四人的聚舊朋友認為不用再回來...
訂枱時間是晚上七時,不用等候便可以如期入座,點了的飲品也能在十分鐘內送上。
由於上一次部分食物有點失準,大家決定集中點些熱門菜便算,於是,安全地點了薄餅、燒雞和咖喱雜菜之類的穩陣菜式,味道繼續比以前遜色了點,也鹹了一些,但開心聚舊是重點,而且薄餅水準能夠保持,大家便不再計較。
七時三十分,食物都送上了,大家吃著談著,十五分鐘左右,桌上食物大致吃了一半,此時,一名侍應問我們要不要加菜...望著每碟仍有一半的食物,大家示意不用,侍應便走開了,再過五分鐘,又有一名侍應過來問同樣的問題,我們依然表示桌上的食物還未吃完,不用加菜,但那侍應竟然說︰「外邊有很多人等位...」大家才恍然大悟,加菜是包裝,著大家不加菜便埋單才是目的,被這樣無禮對待後,大家胃口大減,加上餐廳把所有陌生食客堆在一起搭枱般的安排,也影響了大家吃的興緻,正在商量是否結帳時,竟然還有第三名侍應走過來,在未有詢問的情況下企圖拿走一碟還剩下兩件雞的碟子,錯愕未完,第四名侍應一分鐘後走過來,放下結帳用單據,笑著對我們說︰「方便快些埋單」。
夠了,八時埋單,帶著很不好的用餐經驗離開,步出門口時,聽到一家正在離開店子的客人也投訴著說︰「好煩,係咁催人走」。
大廈裡的咖喱餐館很多,競爭之大,餐廳希望做多點生意無可厚非,但食物水準顧及不來,又不重視服務態度,這樣一來一回的「趕客」做法,又怎能叫客人支持下去?!
