We were the first guests to step into the restaurant on this Sunday lunch. First thing I noticed was the menus were dirty. I thought to myself, hmm, this isn't going to be a good experience. A new restaurant with dirty, oily menu. (Hope they read this and wipe down their menus)
As this was the first time to this restaurant, I wanted to "play it safe" and order more cook stuff than raw. Tempura udon ($50), special sushi combination ($30), chicken wings-yakitori ($40, I think), and chicken cartilage-yakitori ($20)
Tempura udon was better than imagined. A nice layer of crunchy batter, not oily, on the items. The two shrimps were pretty big, the length of my hand. Strong shrimp taste, yum. Also included some veggie: eggplant, pumpkin, yam, and a small green chill. Considering the price I give it a 4 out of 5 for the tempura. Udon not as good though. A little soggy no texture. Soup base was just ok. 2 out of 5 for the undo and soup base.
Sushi combination-a pretty good deal. You get a tofu skin sushi, a cooked shrimp sushi, octopus and squid sushi, 3 kinds of fish (salmon, and 2 white fish) and one flying fish roe. Pretty good quality for everything except for the flying fish roe. That was yucky-tasted like plastic. Again considering the price 3 out of 5.
Yakitoris were good. Nicely salted, and perfectly grilled. Crunchy chicken wing skin and cartilage. I would definitely recommend this. Just slightly over priced.
Overall a good experience. Two things I would like to mention are dirty menu and too attentive waitress. They would take away the bowl immediately after you put down your tooth stick. Felt a little rushed. Hope they can improve. Can’t wait to go again cause I’m looking forward to see their improvement!
I had my dinner there by myself tonight, ordered only two items: grilled mackerel & sashimi rice bowl, both items were good in terms quantity, quality, taste & freshness. The staff were pretty attentive for my tea cup was never empty. Will I eat here again? Hell yes., they'd better stay in business until I get tired of eating their food.

靜靜地的日本餐廳,相當ok
燒雞翼 - 拆咗骨都幾有心機,味到幾都ok.
炸豆腐 – 幾滑.
刺身 – 新鮮份量都ok ,秋刀魚配咗個酸汁好好味,兩樣刺身都擺得好靚.
二人前 – 相當豐富, 有蟹籽沙律,8件壽司,雜錦天婦羅,(魚生冷麵or鰻魚飯)
order咗魚生冷麵,本來有燒秋刀魚師父同我地改咗條燒青魚.
天婦羅 完全唔油膩,炸蝦,日本南瓜蕃薯好……………..好好味.
整體都相當有水準.

出乎意料有驚喜~~
環境幾寧靜,我bf就叫左個櫻花魚生飯,而我就叫左個鰻魚飯,再加多客三文魚壽司,不過跟餐就得汽水,仲有麵豉湯送,個魚生飯一上枱,嘩都幾多三文魚粒,又有d白色魚肉既(唔知叫咩魚),我試左一舊,d魚好有魚味,我bf話d魚新鮮所以先禁有魚味,正喎,鰻魚好有炭燒味,d肉又厚,又幾正,壽司就細細件,起碼夾得起先,有d日本料理d壽司標榜大件,但唔好味又有咩用,之後佢仲送埋三文魚刺身6塊,臨走仲有鏡盒送,呢餐lunch真係食得好開心...

荃灣 "井上" 新日本料理
好鐘意呢個擺設, 精簡有特色
這間舖雖然不是很大, 但裝修很舒服, 很有格調
我們都是從刺身開始, 除了鮮味之外, 很喜歡那種溫度剛剛好, 不喜歡有些雪味感覺
壽司方面, 我平時都不大鐘意吃饅魚, 但這裡真的很不同, 平時食感覺很"肥膩, 但這
裡不單沒有這個問題, 而且味道適中之餘亦不會有腥味, 壽司飯軟硬適中, 更
不會像 "某間" 出名的壽司舖, 我看到有兩種不同形狀的米出現, 一夾就 "散"....
串燒方面, 配合黑椒非常野味, 肉汁豐富, 亦都有試到 M9 "和牛", 比起出面差不多成千元
一塊都係同樣質素, 真係好抵食
至於炸物 "天婦羅" 完完全全沒有 "油膩" 感覺, 唔覺得會好熱氣, 所以食多左....
整體來講好有水準, 亦感受到用心對待顧客, 一定再來食過....

我們要了兩個套餐分享 : (今天還有刺身附送, 新鮮奉上三文魚六件)
壽司刺身定食 - 壽司四件 (腐皮, 熟蝦, 三文魚及蟹腳), 刺身四件 (三文魚, 帆立貝, 鯖魚), 熱烏冬及麵豉湯 + 汽水, $42! 壽司飯微暖, 但不夠黏口, 蟹腳沒有什麼味道, 熟蝦都幾實正, 帆立貝硬了一點點, 三文魚厚厚的, 幾新鮮! 店員介紹汽水可選, 可樂, 芬達...沒有其他選擇, 我們也就沒有要飲品了!
牛肉窩定食, $48, 牛肉窩 有兩大塊牛肉, 金菇, 旺菜....湯底甜了一點點, 附上生蛋一隻, 但窩不是現煮, 吃時有點膽心蛋仍未熟透, 米飯真的麻麻, 不夠煙韌, 黏口! 牛肉水準一般!
整體是...環境舒適(沒有太多人, 靜靜), 店員笑容不多, 但勝在不滋擾, 現階段不能說食物好與不好 (只試了一次), 下次再 a la carte, 叫些燒物, 煮物再下定論吧!

在"井上日本料理"(荃灣)買了"鹽燒鯖魚(塩焼き鯖)"($35)。在家用平底鍋翻熱約1分鐘。
鹽燒鯖魚---半邊鹽燒鯖魚,附有檸檬、白蘿蔔蓉、紅生菜和車厘茄。鯖魚魚皮十分香脆,鹹香惹味,魚油香十足。鯖魚肉質較結實,略為乾嚡,魚味濃而不腥。灑上少許檸檬汁和白蘿蔔蓉來吃,十分醒胃。

在"井上日本料理"(荃灣)買了"天婦羅熱赤麵(天ぷら温かい蕎麦)"($50)。天婦羅、蕎麥麵和昆布鰹節醬油湯是分開盛載的。在家用平底鍋翻熱天婦羅。
天婦羅熱赤麵------內有蕎麥麵、蔥花、昆布、昆布鰹節醬油湯和什錦天婦羅,包括大蝦、南瓜、蕃薯、茄子和青辣椒。湯頭清淡,帶點昆布及鰹節味,鹹味輕怡。蕎麥麵麵質爽口彈牙,蕎麥香十足。大蝦天婦羅的脆漿層厚薄適中,非常香脆,大蝦肉質爽彈,蝦味鮮甜。青辣椒天婦羅味道很苦。南瓜天婦羅和蕃薯天婦羅外脆內軟,味道甘甜。整體水準非常好。
