That was the first time I sat down to have a piece of cake. And it was yummy >w< the best xmas treat!
We had the chocolate truffle cake and cappuccino.
Chocolate truffle cake was really superb! I love strong cocoa and hate sweet chocolate. So this is my piece of cake. The texture is nice, and it is not heavy. The slice is big, nice for tea time.
The cappuccino is not bad as well. I keep having the foam even I finish the cup. The coffee is strong, that is what I really look for.
For sure, buying chocolates again. I had the earl grey slice *again* and the other delicate piece. They were superb! The texture of every piece is apparent ... and that is what the best chocolate is *for me*
I hate receiving food as a present but this one was an exception. My colleagues gave me a big box of chocolates for a farewell present and never did I know how delicious a piece of chocolate could be. Many says Valhrona's chocolate is the best. Well, I think Valhrona now needs to beat its new competitor. At least I think Debauve's chocolate is less commercialised.
Almost being addicted to their chocolates, I searched them on OpenRice and discovered they also have cakes as well. So I went there with a few friends for tea time during the long weekend.
I can assure you that there was definitely no dissapointment. We ordered a few things to share amongst us.
Chocolate Truffle: The sales assistant told me it was their 'MUST-TRY' item, made with their own chocolate. We all thought it was the best out of all. It was different to any truffles out there. Compare to Vanilla's and Mandarin's chocolate truffle, this was FAR better. We actually encored this one and I even bought 2 slices for take-away. That's how good it was.
Opera: Definitely up to hotel-standards. Very well balanced layers of coffee cream and chocolate ganache, with thin layers of chocolate sponge cake to enchance its texture.
Coffee Eclair: I only had a little of this one. Not as good as Opera, but it had a very strong coffee aftertaste.
Although they said they had coffee and was their new item, I was more interested in their hot chocolate while my friends wanted to try their tea. I must say their hot chocolate was very rich, almost to the stage where I had to spoon it out like gelato. Trust me...IT WAS GOOD.!! As for the tea, I didn't have any but my friends all liked it.
So in conclusion, we all enjoyed the tea time, and their cakes were as good as their chocolate.
I've bought chocolates from here a few times - they're pretty addictive indeed, although the Hong Kong outlet has deviated from its original intent a little bit already, since DEBAUVE ET GALLAIS no longer sell the 'healthy chocolates' which they were renowned for and why they got preferred by the 王室 in the 1st place!
******************* 72% CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE CAKE - When I took the 1st bite, I was kind of disappointed that it was so very dense for a truffle cake - both the sponge cake base as well as the chocolate mousse were nearly solid and overly refrigerated, a bit dry and not moist either. The Chocolate tasted surprisingly like Valrhona's Araguani!
Although I really enjoy their individual dark chocolate pieces for sale, which are even better than the 'original' Valrhona dark chocolates in my opinion (the latter's dark chocolates have been toned down too much, but Valrhona xcels in other ways and wins on consistency across the board - long story..!), I thought the cake I had at D&G wasn't up to the very high standards of their Chocolates.

DARJEELING 'GFOP' SUPERIEUR - A Breakfast Black Tea (紅茶) which theorectically goes well with chocolate cakes, I was again surprised at how unaromatic and how unsophisticated (also slightly bland) this turned out for $60 odd dollars.
I'm not a tea making expert at all, I know my coffee better than teas - so I have no idea whether its the blend or the method which went wrong, but as a customer all I know is that this tea has nothing on the Le Gouter Bernadaud or Mandarin Oriental offers, nor in that case many other tea shops! But to be fair, if this is anything like coffee at all, I wouldn't rule out the possibility that it could just be the Tea-rista's problem

IN MY OPINION - I WILL STICK TO THEIR INDIVIDUAL CHOCOLATE PIECES AND SPRING MACARONS! THESE ARE REALLY GOOD AND SOME PIECES RIVAL JEAN PAUL HEVIN'S AND THE DARKEST CHOCOS HERE DEFINITELY BEAT THE ORIGINAL VALRHONA (BUT NOT WHEN COMPARED AND CONSIDERED OVERALL.. VALRHONA IS REALLY GOOD IN GENERAL.)
THE CAKE AND TEAS ARE OVER-PRICED AND NOT AS ENJOYABLE.
This time I tried the truffle cake, Millefeuilles strawberry and hot chocolate with my girl friend.
The truffle cake which is made by their own 72% chocolate is unpredictedly awesome. The cake contains two layers - the chocolate sponge cake part is very rich and soft while the chocolate mousse part (it's actually as rich as dark chocolate paste) is very smooth.
The hot chocolate drink is also out-standing and impressive. I never expect a chocolate drink could be like that. The lovely staff there told me that their chocolate drinks are made by traditional french style which is very different from the ones we have in any hong kong style restaurants. it's actually a paste-like chocolate but to my surprise it is not too sweet. I can really taste the original flavor of cocoa. Someone may say it would be too thick and heavy but as i true chocolate lover, i can't tell you how satisfied i was to enjoy such this REAL chocolate drink. I would recommend all chocolate lovers try this for a unique and unconventional experience.
As for the strawberry millefeuilles, you better reserve for this in advance becoz they only have few pieces in weekends. the millefeuilles is crispy and the strawberry is fresh.
My girl friend and I was totally satisfied this time and we will come again very very very soon.=]

Original Hot Chocolate($66)-朱古力怪如我,當然不會錯過72%的濃郁體驗!燈光影射下,熱朱古力會透出迷人的金黃色閃光,那陣香味更是乖乖不得了;細嚐之下,論味道始終是Vero出品甘香許多,Debauve只勝在口感極端濃厚,甚至有點吃朱古力糊的感覺,或會有人認為不夠滑,或是太膩,不過我仍是幾喜歡的。

好食既宗旨係:新鮮既酥皮唔會有水氣~要crispy鬆化脆口+蛋香奶油味既custard!而非cream+sponge cake!
p.s岩岩打完一篇....但可能時間太長既關係...save既時候唔見哂,,希望仲記得我打過d咩啦
之前都想食呢間嫁喇..不過由於星期6先有得食,所以食唔到,
到星期6黎到既時候又太夜,賣哂所以又食唔到
今次又係因為等男朋友收工既關係,而且幸好我星期6收12點既關係,開店不久,有幸可以同友人一齊黎食新鮮的!
好~講重點:
1.唔洗講~黎到呢間店~當然上枱時既presentation都一定好!不過點解把刀會係用ikea既呢??
2.先講mango,不是很甜又沒有酸。剛好~不過唔知點解我見之前d人食勁多,面層鋪滿哂而且每層custard都有mango既~但我就得5片??唔知係咪d mango唔夠分呢?定係改良左令到d酥皮crispy一點??(因為正宗法式的根本就不放生果的)
3.面層沒有塗上焦糖..感覺很不像法式的...
4.icing sugar十分幼細,但沒有味道,一點都不甜..
5.要講酥皮了...不知是否因為少了芒果,少了濕氣!十分鬆化很有層次感!還是因為新鮮的原故?要做到脆的話,很多間店也能做到,不過要做到這樣鬆化有空氣感的話,就很難得了!我敢說這裡的是我吃過鬆化度最出色的!跟ceres一樣!不過論味道卻不夠ceres/tony wong/zoe/paul lafayet的好!因為沒有味道,少了一點甜..或許是少了層caramel?不過這店的鬆化真的很有水準!一口咬落去就很乾脆俐落~!
6.到custard了,看到這店的裝潢,本來吃這件餅的時候是想用刀叉吃的,不過友人說mille feuille用不了刀叉..就輍出去用手拿著吃了!custard可能是剛做好的關係吧...都比較呈水狀~害我吃的時候custard都從兩邊滑下去了!連我長長的手指甲也滿是custard!不過我見custard帶有很多vanilla seeds,但為什麼呢?一樣沒有很甜的味道,少了很香的牛油蛋香味...solid一點就更好了~custard感覺像小店出品的一樣稀~沒有像zoe/tony/paul做的出色!沒有吃後令我有齒頰留香的感覺~
食完napoleon再食呢件最出名既cake~因為個人不太好朱古力..而且覺得這裡的太貴了,,所以還是要多一件cake吧..不過我就覺得很一般了..為什麼呢?truffle沒有很濃的朱古力味~而且夾著的是sponge cake,令整件cake更乾身,不夠rich也不覺得smooth..而且面層還有一層成吋厚既cocoa powder所以令成件食落去都偏乾..不是我喜愛的一款cake
不明白它為什麼出名,也不明白它貴在那裡...真的有這麼好吃麼?
叫了兩壺茶,一壺是玫瑰花茶,另一壺是友人叫的,忘記了是earl grey或是什麼紅茶..
一pot夠沖3小杯...玫瑰花茶,淡淡的很清香~不過再濃一點就好了~
原本打算truffle cake很heavy,要喝一口茶中和一下,而且這壺茶也是枱上最貴的。
不過我看有機會再來的話,這個不必點了,茶也不用喝了..
是日茶點為友人請客~謝了~合共約300大元

A hidden surprise
We had the chocolate truffle cake and cappuccino.
Chocolate truffle cake was really superb! I love strong cocoa and hate sweet chocolate. So this is my piece of cake. The texture is nice, and it is not heavy. The slice is big, nice for tea time.
The cappuccino is not bad as well. I keep having the foam even I finish the cup. The coffee is strong, that is what I really look for.
For sure, buying chocolates again. I had the earl grey slice *again* and the other delicate piece. They were superb! The texture of every piece is apparent ... and that is what the best chocolate is *for me*

酥皮差一點點
吃著歌劇,會否想著自己身處Royal Albert Hall?
友人Jay在前文說過,利園已被自由行供佔,不過只局限在下面,樓上的Yohji,Paul Smith,滿身銅臭的大陸人,又點會看得上眼,著上身沒有大大隻字logo,鬼知你著名牌麼?懶理樓下LV班自由人或港女逼餐死,我們便坐在三樓優閒地嘆下午茶,摸著茶杯閒話家常,冷眼旁觀俗世事.
Debauve et Gallais這間來自法國的朱古力店 來頭極大,早在二百多年,已受到法國皇室肯定.其中私生活荒旦,最後被送上斷頭台的瑪麗皇后,Debauve et Gallais曾經為她製成了一道Pistole.幾百年之後流落民間,平民百姓也可一親其香澤.
香港店以朱古力,蛋糕,同各式西茶為主,幸好來之前一早訂位,兼預留蛋糕,否則便望門輕嘆.店外只有三,四張檯,奇貨可居之下,周六下午來之前,一定要預先訂位.但未必保証能準時入座,如果上一手茶客瀨死不走的話,也沒有辦法.結果,我們比原定時間,遲來少許入座.
店方為表示歉意,先免費奉上三片朱古力給我們品嘗,薄薄的菊花圖案朱古力,成份為七十二巴仙.味道香濃且甘,為這一個下午打開良好的印像.
一心來品嘗熱朱古力,但店員給我一個失望的答案:{是日已經沒有熱朱古力.}面上失望之心情難以掩蓋.這一刻,店員提出一個可行方案,是專程叫師傅搭的士送過來,但要等大約一小時.聽罷有點不可思議,區區四十多塊錢的熱朱古力,為何要勞師動眾送過來?其實,如果是沒有朱古力,大可向我推薦其他,既然店方說可以做到,而我們亦有時間,於是便答應了.
蛋糕預留了Mango Millefeuille,同Chocolate Truffle Cake,前者簡單去形容,是芒果拿破崙.吃拿破崙最緊要的是酥皮夠脆,但這個Mango Millefeuille的外層,並不是很脆,將其切開之時,有點論盡,忌廉同芒果分開,變成一劈野.不過忌廉香滑,芒果肉香甜.總算不差,與天后的Mimosa的近親比,又差一點點.
外表沒甚特別的Chocolate Truffle Cake,是兩層朱古力慕絲,加兩層朱古力蛋糕,沒有修飾的賣相,但味道十分討好.慕絲入口香滑,朱古力味濃帶甘,而朱古力蛋糕本身較鬆軟,味道同樣帶點甘,總之我們一致給予很高的評價.
見兩位友人正在摸著茶杯,享受著西茶之同時,我手上仍兩手空空.店方見狀,再免費奉上Opera蛋糕,這間名牌店果然不惜工本,給予員工很大權力來delight客人.好些五星級酒店,也沒有如此服務水平.一再而三過來向我們致歉,更加令我有點不好意思呢.說回個Opera,有朱古力之外,更帶有咖啡味道.糕身亦比之前Chocolate Truffle Cake更為濕潤.
等了良久的熱朱古力,終於來到我面前.用細小的杯盛著,賣相不及Vero,在面頭耍上金箔般浮誇.入口很杰身,口感豐厚渾圓,味道濃厚結尾苦,結合了之前等待的時間,這杯熱朱古力,可以說是"苦盡甘來"
英法兩國一向是處於敵對狀態,法國人常笑英國人不懂吃,英國人常在言語上辱罵法國人,但在這間法國朱古力店,兩國化干戈為肉帛.用上的餐具是英國名牌Royal Albert出品.圖案精美優雅,是餐具之中的"藍血".我輩只能夠在這個下午,與這位貴族萍水相逢.但用上的刀叉,只是IKEA出品.有點兒身上是Chanel的Haute Couture,腳踏Converse的搞笑場面.
不經不覺差不多喝了兩小時,優閒的周六下午,應該是如此,不一定要去酒店咖啡室,吃個喪劈朱古力甜品自助餐,來到Debauve et Gallais"一杯兩件",才體驗出喝下午茶,或吃甜品的應有氣氛,態度.

店員剛才說今日有檸檬撻和芒果mousse cake,此際我覺得仲可以食多件檸檬撻
o係咁失望之際,唯有試吓朱古力啦!
最出名的橙花朱古力片&杏仁味朱古力片。前者聞吓已有好香的橙花味,食落也非常之香,係好natural的橙香
Oursin是店員推介,dark choc包住焦糖脆層,最內層是軟榛子朱古力,論口感&味道都相當出色!
Spring Macarons,揀左紅莓味,外層是難得的薄薄紅莓朱古力殼,餡也是紅莓朱古力,由於是dark choco,所以一D都唔甜。

今年生日亦都唔例外,今年男朋友仔買左Debauve既Chocolate Truffe Cake比我呀!

1打開個蛋糕盒, d朱古力味已經湧出黎.
佢地係1層Mousse + 1層海綿蛋糕 + 1層Mousse + 1層海綿蛋糕.
蛋糕用72%Dark Chocolate整,所以唔會太甜太滯.
我1個人都可以食到差唔多半個whole cake.
Mousse口感好濕潤,記得雜誌講過佢地係無加雞蛋去整個Mousse,所以口感會比坊間既更好.
所以佢地雖然話係Mousse,但我覺得似食緊特濃朱古力多d囉!
食得到朱古力本身既甘甜味. 好正!!!! 真係好好味!!!!
食得出個蛋糕用左好多朱古力去整, 雖然價錢係就係貴dd,不過1分錢1分貨ma.
Debauve既朱古力1粒都買20蚊~30蚊,咁計番個蛋糕就好似好抵咁.
上年男朋友仔買過Awfully Chocolate Cake做我Birthday Cake,點知失望.. ..

我愛法國
一直很喜歡茶, 不論是中國茶、日本茶、英國茶、土耳其茶....統統不放過。被我這茶痴慢慢薰陶了的友人, 一發現品茗好地方立即拉我一起行動!
Debauve et Gallais 的地方比我想像中小, 只有三張枱。幸好, 利園人流不多, 坐在商場的open area 也很開揚舒適。店員, 唔...應該稱之為產品顧問才貼切, 因為他們親切有禮之餘, 對每位顧客都耐心細心解釋每種茶及朱古力的飲/食法, 而且一點也不硬銷, 不就是產品顧問嗎?
正當我倆對茶, 糕餅同朱古力都眼花撩亂之時, Debauve et Gallais 的Operation Manager Ricky 先生親自分享飲茶/ 揀茶心得。 與君一席話, 勝飲十年茶!
經Ricky 先生介紹下, 二人決定點了:
The Rooibos de Noel - 這是法國的如意茶, 不含咖啡因, 色澤呈火紅色, Ricky 先生解說茶色越紅, 味道越甜, 故此 以Rooibos 配合味濃的甜點, 既能化解膩口感覺, 也淡淡保留香甜無比的after taste。
Original Chocolat - 72%濃度的熱朱古力, 非常濃郁厚身, Ricky 先生解說他們用上了8種不同可可豆製成, 所以味道會比較複雜, 恰到好處地包含了香、甜、甘、酸, 誰也搶不了誰的風頭。
Gateau de Truffes au Chocolat - 這裡的signature Chocolate Truffle Cake,同樣是72%濃度朱古力製成。入口很rich, 而且非常幼滑, 可能他們經之前的食家反映後改良了, 蛋糕層已不再乾身。
Millefeuilles (saveur Mangue) - 我們之前沒有預訂, 幸好那時還剛開店不久, 仍有存貨, 不過據知他們限定製造, 想吃Millefeuilles的朋友們請勿像我以身試險, 分分鐘食白果收場。 比較, 是人的天性。個人認為 Zoe, Mimosa 和這裡做的, 各有千秋。個人喜歡Zoe 的酥皮夠脆口, 不過Zoe 沒有芒果。也喜歡Mimosa的 酥皮夠鬆化, 不過卻嫌它的吉士太甜太"杰"。Debauve et Gallais的酥皮明顯比另外兩者遜色, 但勝在吉士幼滑, 甜度適中, 芒果香甜。如果三者可以結合, 就完美了。
一個非常relaxing 的下午, 與摯愛邊享用美點名茶, 邊聽健談親切的Ricky 先生分享其專業泡茶知識及個人經驗之談, 滿足極了!!! 真想高呼一聲: 我愛法國!!
後記: 臨走買了300g 的烏龍茶 - The Jardin du Luxembourg。急不及待回家沖泡品嚐, 其色澤金黃, 略帶花果香。正如Ricky 先生所說, 茶色越紅, 味道越甜; 茶色越金, 口感越"爽"。 所謂"爽"是行內語 , 即入口陣陣涼快, 很滑喉的感覺是也。Ricky 先生叮囑, 要泡好The Jardin du Luxembourg 非注意水溫不可, 若太熱會流失茶本身的維他命, 反之不夠熱, 又會泡出咳藥水味。回家試過, 不夠熱的Luxembourg果真有咳藥水味! 幸好, Ricky 先生傳授了一套技巧, 否則浪費了矜貴的法國名茶。

意想不到的星級服務

未夠鬆脆
久未踏足過利園, 也很久未買過城中名牌, 事實上現在變成'自由行"天地, 但環境總比sogo一帶寧靜, 難怪不少人到此享受時光. 雖已事先訂坐, 但到步後仍需等侯一會, 因為坐位就是眼見的五張小枱而已, 而且地方太舒適, 客人不願離開亦有道理, 店員亦多番前來致歉, 入坐後還奉上數片 72%朱古力片給我們品嚐
飲品方面, 我與友人分別選擇GREEN TEA MINT 及 EARL GREY TEA. 不得不讚賞其靚絕的茶壺及茶杯, 真有法國皇室的優雅感, 還有"茶名紙牌", 整個組合就如博物館的展品一樣. GREEN TEA MINT 清雅幽香, AFTER TASTE 有少許薄荷味. 至於一心來到想試Original Hot Chocolate的友人, 竟從店員口中得知熱朱古力已售罄!! 不會吧~~ 原來這個都要預訂?? 我們還說是老遠走過來飲的 !! 真想也想不到, 大家正失望之際, 店員居然提出我們不介意的話可以等 1 小時, 請師父打的士送過來!!!
先說蛋糕, 一早來電留了TRUFFLE CAKE 及 MANGO MILLEFEUILLES, 各一件, 如各下是WALK IN 來到買朱古力的話, 絕對不知這裡有蛋糕供應, 因為朱古力櫃並看不到有任何蛋糕放出來, 看到的都是客人堂食ORDER後店內的小房間取出, 真神秘! TRUFFLE CAKE 不是很大件, 單看外表更是平平無奇, 沒有酒店餅房的華麗裝飾., 四層的結構是 chocolate mousse + chocolate cake, 入口舌尖先感到mousse 絲般幼滑, 後而是微甘的黑朱古力, 完全不會有普通蛋糕的甜膩感, 三人一致叫好! 值得一試!!
芒果拿破倫亦是此店名物之一, 心理卻暗暗用mimosa 的出品作比較. 酥皮做得不夠鬆脆, 層次不夠 想用刀切開三件時亦有些狼狽, 總是"剪不斷, 理還亂" .芒果肉, 酥皮與忌廉最後分散解體, 忌廉雖夠滑, 但整體上仍是mimosa更勝一籌!
等侯熱朱古力愈大半小時,期間店員再次前來致歉, 又奉送OPERA一件, 我們既高興, 又不好意思; 相對TRUFLE CAKE, OPERA 口感較為濕潤, 除有朱古力香, 忌廉的甜, 還有點咖啡濃, 但個人認為不算強烈. 此時又令我回想帝苑的 GREEN TEA OPERA, 那個綠茶+咖啡 +蛋糕共10 多層的味道交錯, 做得實在出色,教人難忘!
千呼萬喚始出來的熱朱古力, 比 espresso 份量多一點, 友人說果真夠濃, 畢竟用上 72% 可可製成, 看似一杯朱古力醬! 相信喝罷一定十分頂肚, 但如果你是百份百朱古力迷, 不妨試試

An unforgetable chocolate
The truffle cake which is made by their own 72% chocolate is unpredictedly awesome. The cake contains two layers - the chocolate sponge cake part is very rich and soft while the chocolate mousse part (it's actually as rich as dark chocolate paste) is very smooth.
The hot chocolate drink is also out-standing and impressive. I never expect a chocolate drink could be like that. The lovely staff there told me that their chocolate drinks are made by traditional french style which is very different from the ones we have in any hong kong style restaurants. it's actually a paste-like chocolate but to my surprise it is not too sweet. I can really taste the original flavor of cocoa. Someone may say it would be too thick and heavy but as i true chocolate lover, i can't tell you how satisfied i was to enjoy such this REAL chocolate drink. I would recommend all chocolate lovers try this for a unique and unconventional experience.
As for the strawberry millefeuilles, you better reserve for this in advance becoz they only have few pieces in weekends. the millefeuilles is crispy and the strawberry is fresh.
My girl friend and I was totally satisfied this time and we will come again very very very soon.=]

始終忍不住
法藉朱古力店位於華貴又幽靜的利園3樓(Antique舊址),地方不算大,餐桌也只3數張,還好一早訂了位。迎接我的一盤粉紅玫瑰,繫上藍金絲帶十分迷人,而笑容甜美的女侍又細心有禮,服務十分到位,整體氣氛環境十分舒服。雖經BLT一役空間已不多,但仍然很享受這頓法式下午茶:
最後,全店杯碟都極端精緻,我幾乎想偷走了...
渡過愉快的個多小時,張單竟然給友人搶了去買,真要不好意思的講聲多謝~還好親切的店員為我找來了巴黎分店的地址,讓我買些手信來回禮吧!

坐底 order 左個 The Rooibos de Noel, 兩杯 hot chocolate, 一件 chocolate truffle cake 同一件 mango millefeuille
之後去揀朱古力嚕
食到一半大家都已經濟左, 要叫多杯茶送口...
就係咁, 三個人 high tea 咁就 high 左 $600... 我覺得有d 唔抵...
唔係話佢唔好食, 但係佢既然收得全城最貴我會 expect 係好好好好味...
不過佢環境同服務都好好, 侍應們都細心有禮
唯獨有一點奇怪既係你 order 左野之後侍應會先要你埋單 (驚有人食霸王朱古力?...) 有係快餐店食野 feel... 而且如果你係似我地咁慢慢坐下食下傾下計又會再 order 野既話就會要埋好多次單, 唔太方便哦...
說真的, 論朱古力, 合我心水價錢又比佢平的大有人在
不過佢個 hot chocolate 又真係抵讚既

不能抗拒的朱古力
其實對於甜食本人不嬲都好麻麻...起初未去到仍然有個感覺就係同其他坊間既朱古力唔會差太多。
未俾佢既食物吸引我之前,呢到既服務已經令我好舒服~當日幾位侍應完全唔似得其他店舖既一份夾硬同唔願意既招呼,一個簡單既微笑、簡單既"Hello"已經令到成個感覺好舒服。
剛坐落其中一張店外的餐檯後,其中一個男仔就同我地介紹今日MENU上面唔同既餐飲,我地就決定要左︰
1. 朱古力飲品
2. Earl Grey Tea
3. 士多啤梨拿破崙
4. 朱古力Truffle Cake
係等待既同時,夫人參親朱古力櫃既時候又忍唔住叫埋朱古力橙餅手指,Macaroon同埋連瑪莉皇后以前用黎送藥既朱古力餅~~~
由於人客唔多,基本上幾分鐘既時間檯面已經放滿哂野。第一樣野先要試既真係忍唔住就係杯朱古力,72%濃度既感覺真係好RICH~由於傳統既朱古力飲品係唔會加任何野,所以佢既TEXTURE都幾「杰」。
係試CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE之前先試左個拿破崙先~士多啤梨食得出係新鮮生果,酥皮底都做得好好味唔會太濕太淋~~而且佢個CUSTARD唔會太多,食落去唔會搞到自己一口CREAM。
CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE CAKE,其實市面真係有太多太多數之不盡既朱古力蛋糕聲稱自己最香濃,呢個我都相信係其一,點樣好味法~試過既朋友應該會明白。
橙餅手指都好好味,橙味同朱古力味平衡得好好唔會話邊個搶左邊個既味,反而MACAROON就相對失色,而且以30蚊一粒既價錢唔係太值。
星期日下午,唔一定要去各大店舖瘋狂掃貨~可以靜靜地係到食件餅,享受當時個刻既寧靜感覺好好。店舖既員工真係忍唔住要再讚多一次,整整一個小時同夫人既下午茶時間,佢地一次都無,係一次都無行近我地意圖或企圖睇下我地食完未要去收野~~真正俾客人一個TAKE A TEA BREAK既感覺。
當然我明白如果有客要等就唔係呢回事。但係,我亦都相信要等位既可能性應該唔會多~哈哈,因為咁樣食一食已經盛惠$320,確實係呢個海嘯時刻有點過份。以呢個價錢,其實係普通既4星酒店已經夠兩個人去食轉TEA BUFFET喇。
話雖如此,人總要俾一個理由去自己放肆下~相信我同夫人會再返黎試埋其他既甜品!!

喝朱古力都飽...
花茶還未倒下去了...只拍了杯子...
友人相約來這家皇室朱古力店high tea….這裡的桌椅都放在店外…幸好商場人流不多…坐在外面也不會覺得太嘈吵…桌椅給人一種很高貴優雅的感覺...坐在這裡過一個悠閒的下午…確實不錯~
店員很細心的為我們介紹各款飲品…最後我選了小杯朱古力…這裡只有熱的…那時候店員提及到有咖啡朱古力…我本身不喜歡喝咖啡…因為我覺得有點苦…所以我只選了普通的朱古力…友人就選了花茶…不過我忘了是什麼名字~另外店員還推介新鮮造的拿破崙…她說平日是現成貨…但今天有專人即製的…既然如此…當然要試試看…有士多啤梨和芒果味兩款…而我們就選了芒果味的…
小杯朱古力上場…細細的杯子裡面裝著深黑色的朱古力…看起來似朱古力漿多一點…果然是真材實料…喝了一口…我想除了朱古力…店方並沒有添加任何東西…杰得幾乎好像連水也沒有加進去似的…那味道對我來說實在是太濃了…朱古力帶點甘苦而且有點酸…這令我想起Vero…雖然我沒有去過…但我曾聽過食友的描述…我想大概就是這個味道了…..雖然小杯…但感覺得飽肚…本想店員為我提供少許奶可以中和那些苦味…不過店內並沒有提供…然而店員很細心的為我送上一杯暖水…而且很細心的解釋跟依照法國的傳統…朱古力是不加奶的…
友人的花茶…很香…喝起來淡淡的…其實配芒果拿破崙最好…~
芒果拿破崙的賣相很漂亮…一片片薄薄的甜甜的芒果…配上幼滑的custard cream…酥皮夾層鬆脆…果然是新鮮即製的…整體上甜度適中…很適合我吃…只是custard的味道還未及紅磡海逸那間好吃~~
那杯朱古力很明顯不是我喜歡的那一種...不過我還是會給一個笑臉的...這笑臉是給那裡細心的店員...還有就是我確信真正喜愛朱古力的人會喜歡這裡的朱古力呢~
