The congee was nice and warm. We particular like the century egg lean pork congee.Flavourful and pork was done just nice and I think they did not add msg as we didn't feel thirsty after eating the you tiao was awesome too. we buy back to eat at our hotel as we stay just opposite. The 2nd round we try their fish slice congee, it wasn't that good, there was so many tiny bone and my daughter got so tired trying to spit out the bone during eating that she didn't manage to finish eating the congee. Overall not too bad but depends on your expectation.

今日去咗佐敦食粥，上網睇過話呢一間啲粥品唔錯就入左去試下。入到去見到牆上有個大餐牌，係一個有泰文翻譯的餐牌，可能佐敦附近都有啲泰國人居住啦!環境比較舊式，一入去就有啲焗的味道，坐耐左就冇左浸味，仲覺得都幾涼快。粥品我揀左及第粥，粥入面有豬腰、豬潤、肉丸，除咗肉丸有啲調味料醃過之外，其他的味道都比較淡。食粥要配油炸鬼，油炸鬼唔係好脆又唔係過左氣，屬中間口感。食完粥已經有啲口渴。店入面的夥記雖上左年紀，但都幾有禮貌。

When I arrive at 8 o'clock in the morning, I have to line up, many people. Wait a minute, then go in and eat. Point and porridge, fritters, noodles. The environment is generally the same, but the waiter is an uncle, and the public is awkward, and don’t care too much. The stuff is very delicious, the porridge is delicious, and the fritters are cut into small pieces for a short period of time.

外賣左一碗皮蛋魚片粥。拎到返公司打開蓋先發現漏左皮蛋，但粥舖同公司都有段距離就無返去換了。魚片新鮮，粥底（應該）無味精，但頗稀同埋有啲結埋一舊舊。$48（外賣雙併）值唔值就見仁見智了。建議外賣就當面 check 清楚先走。

當食物越來越多花樣，這個fushion那個，新鮮的感覺吸引人走在潮流。隨著日新月異的味蕾挑戰，有時候，還是想回歸基本、重回初心。💖一個舊招牌、一碗不花巧的粥麵，加上樸實的港式裝潢，「傳統」終究是最大的根本。🙏在佐敦走著走著，到了不起眼的「彌敦粥麵家」。一般的粥品供應齊全，約40元一碗，慨嘆時而轉易、物價飛騰，小時候的一碗粥只算十餘錢呢。店內最特別及貴價的是飽魚粥，每碗過百。👀我們叫了生菜鯪魚球粥(左)👈 及 傳統及第粥(右)👉。 粥綿，滑而軟 ; 料足，配又香。雖不是食過而來最感動的粥品，這種單純的感覺卻是豐足。😙😙😙當然，怎能忘記粥的好朋友--油條呢? 👭永遠的配撘，找不到一個更好的。比起複雜的調味，單是一口粥更使人滿足。😋反正，難免人心悵惘時，何不暫且停下，享受簡約的味道? 😊
