Chose this place for lunch with my friend because 1) really wanted to check out the nice harbor view; and 2) heard that the food here was good for value. However, it really didn't turn out that great!
I went to the restaurant and arrived there first. When I was on the lift heading up to the 9/F. The lift was suddenly stalled on 7/F. It was so scary. We were kind of trapped on the lift on 7/F for around 3-5 minutes and eventually had to press the security's button to go up again. The lift just refused to move until we pressed the security button.
Anyway, despite that little fright of getting trapped in the elevator, I managed to get into the restaurant. I was rather early and got a harborview seat. Seriously, the view is amazing, but it was far too hot and too much sunshine. So I moved to a booth seat inside instead, which was very cozy.
My friend then arrived and we ordered the following dishes:
I went for the cod fish set lunch ($108): the cod fish was very nice, but slightly too oily. The rice was not delicate at all and they gave us far too much rice. The set lunch looked pretty empty. The fish soup tasted funny when drinking it at the very end.
she went for the 豚肉 set lunch ($88): my friend's set lunch was of a big portion. They gave her lots of pork and again she complained that the rice wasn't delicate enough and not very refined. Far too much rice and the fish tasted a bit fishy when she had it at the very end.
as my friend skipped breakfast, she also ordered the tomato skewers. They were so nice!!!! The tomatoes were wrapped around some kind of pork and it tasted good.
finally the soft shell crab sushi was disappointing! ($68) There were 4 pieces of sushi and each sushi was very big, in fact, super large, compared to the others I had before. Even though the crabs smelt very nice, the sushi didn't taste that great at all. I just managed to have one as it was disappointingly unrefined. The crab was bland and had no taste at all. There was no sauce around it and the rice again didn't mix in well with the crabs. All in all, a very disappointing dish. Plus, since the sushi was far too big, whenever we had one bite, the rest will fall apart into bits and pieces.
last but not least, there was the dessert. My set had this chocolate mousse, but I gave it to my friend. My friend complimented on the mousse. She said it was extremely smooth, even softer than soft chocolate ice-cream! However, the spoon was far too badly organized and they didn't even care to give us a round spoon, which made it hard to dig in at the very end.
we also paid $1 just to get an all-you-can-eat salad bowl. But again the selections were limited and the salad bar was simply mediocre. Nothing special at all.
Anyway, service was not the best, but still satisfactory. Seriously, they really need to improve on their quality of sushi as it's simply very disappointing. Large, but not good in taste. Prices are not low either. The set lunch was good, but not the best. Anyway, with such a nice harborview, this restaurant could be doing much much better with the food taste. But it is not.
Had lunch here the other day for the first time - while I was trying to decide what to have, the waiter kept recommending to me this cheap $68 chicken teriyaki set. Since I felt like having a bit of chicken anyway at that time, I said OK...and then the whole set arrived in LITERALLY 5 seconds, BEFORE I even ordered anything else! I bet some waiter/waitress made a mistake at another able and didn't know what to do with this teriyaki chicken that they ALREADY made..... So I had to share the set with my table while ordering more food... I thought this was quite inconsiderate of them - what if we wanted to eat a set each at the same time (like most people do- surely it would be quite boring for the person who has finished a set to watch the rest of the table eat theirs)? Good thing we were opting for the a-la-carte menu anyway, so just treated this extra-quickly-served teriyaki chicken set as a starter for the table.
Wasn't that hungry to begin with so just ordered random items (mostly served piece by piece) that I felt like eating. Food quality actually exceeded my expectations, since this place initially struck me as one of those "hip" eateries that paid more attention to decor than food. I just wish they didn't make the chicken teriyaki mistake so obvious! Anyhow, I'd give this place an "OK" in virtue of the fact that they have provided decent (though not at all outstanding) food in a nicely renovated place with a good view.

淺嚐幽雅日本菜
軟殼蟹手卷
朋友今天看中了這間店, 於是連帶我這個世貿稀客也轉進來找好東西吃。朋友略嫌這個定食的魚實在太細件了,不過小巧的色的食物格外滋味吧~這道魚,朋友的評價是不錯的,單是賣相亦見皮脆肉嫩,還有直得一提是這個定食的湯是魚湯來的,但一定要趁熱喝,涼了的話會頗鯹的。飯略嫌不夠黏,少了一份珍珠米應有的口感和米香。
豚肉生薑燒定食~
這道菜,豚肉切得厚薄得宜,配上洋葱和特有醬油,吊起了肉味,助飯一流。而且份量對女仔而言是蠻多肉的,所以配上橙黃色的日本酸蘿蔔。蘿蔔爽脆醒胃,剛好抵消了吃得肉多的飽滯感。
其他鋪的軟殼蟹手卷彷彿來到小店恐怕要瘦身變為本店的軟殼蟹,這道菜用料都不少,有很多生菜青瓜絲作餡料,軟殼蟹都有入口即溶,但是朋友略嫌不夠香口。
這是一個值得一讚的餐甜品---朱古力慕士
吃過不少店鋪的朱古力慕士,一般都會有RUM 酒味的,但這個朱古力慕士就有很香濃的朱古力味,個人認為甜度剛好,而且沒有RUM酒味,適合一些愛好朱古力迷及不好RUM酒的朋友。最重要是這個慕士口感相當CREAMY,入口即溶,滑之餘不會覺得它稀,份量雖小,但乎合少吃多滋味的原則吧~

第一眼入到餐廳既感覺係裝修好靚,有我最鐘意既紫色梳化而 waiter 哥哥都好好人比我地坐卡位。 因為我好鐘意食烏冬
另外,我地仲叫左串燒牛舌、豚肉帶子及雞軟骨各一串。 其實想再叫多幾串串燒,但係係怕熱氣,所以最後冇叫到。 我覺得咁多樣野最好食係個天婦羅,因為呢個天婦羅既蝦好新鮮同埋炸到好脆。 有d日本餐廳會將d炸物擺左好耐先攞出尼,炸物一凍左就唔好食架la!
此外,呢間餐廳既優點就係d野食尼得好快,唔洗等好耐就有野食。
最後我地埋單大約 $330 左右,價錢唔算貴,下次一定再幫襯!
當我地走既時候仲發現原來呢間餐廳隔離有得整頭髮同做指甲,其實日本已經有好多百貨公司有呢d一站式既服務,啱晒d扮完靚又想食d野既女仕門。 等我下次約埋d friend 做完指甲之後順便食埋晚飯先!

煮物最強@Corner
周五,我也需要一點寫意空間的。
燒物一般。
純粹聚舊的一夜,一個靚海景加些簡單西日料理,少了複雜的食物資料顧慮下,可放懷的談談舊事及近況。
胡麻春菊菜作前菜,前菜端來,日本運來的春菊菜緊實地疊在一,有胡麻醬的香,亦帶點辛口,頗開胃的。
汁燒墨魚嘴,沒有雪味,吃起來外脆而軟韌,加上帶甜的燒汁,此品較以上兩款為佳。
溫泉蛋賣相極佳,是悅快又令人開心的味道。
清酒煮花蛤,是材料定勝負的一味。
炆牛肋骨,令人想起韓式風味,廚功好,入口鬆嫩而甜醬滲入期中,連骨的位置帶著微微脂肪,甘腴亦有肉香。

再三回味
於是pandora決定帶友人一嘗只有一個喊面的AT corner
為確保能於美好假日與靚景共進午餐,pandora於一個禮拜前book定window seat
當日一點凖時到達,餐廳人客半滿,window seat都是留座(所以要坐window seat最好早兩三日book定
1.環境:人客雖半滿,但完全沒有半點嘈吵感覺。餐廳播放著柔和音樂,伴著美景(是日天色極好),美食,pandora與友人均非常滿意。
2.食品:午餐共有近廿款定食之多,與友人分別選了鮮蝦海膽刺身飯定食($108)與及特盛刺身定食($128),另點了仍在做promo的$10蠔x2。
2.1. 味道:留意過往食評都讚AT corner的海膽與眾不同,於是與友人第一口便試海膽,果然夠鮮夠甜!(與友人不禁相視而笑)而其他刺身均在水準之上,當中吞拿魚實在頗有驚喜(pandora已經很久不敢在壽市店吃tuna了

一入去,waiter 態度幾好,熱情招待,唔錯。可能因為早,未係太多人,我地獲安排坐窗口位,個view真係幾唔錯,望住維港食野,心情都舒暢d。
Lunch 都幾多選擇,樣樣睇落都幾好咁,花多眼亂。我同cc都鍾意食魚,我揀左「銀雪魚西京燒定食」,$108; cc 揀左「鍋燒魚湯海鮮烏冬定食」,$78。Waiter哥哥話加$1有自助沙律吧,幾抵,於是我地就加埋。沙律d 料好新鮮,畢下畢下畢左勁大碟,哈哈~
沙律食完,主角上場。我個銀雪魚西京燒有2大塊,都幾厚肉,食落好鮮甜,值回票價。漬物味道比預期中好,唔錯~
Cc o個個海鮮烏冬又幾足料喎,有蝦、帶子、蜆肉同魚,湯底鮮味一般,不過以呢個價錢、食呢個環境黎講就算係好抵。
甜品有提子雪糕,cc 話好味,我覺得都唔錯,不過如果係芝麻就更好喇~
座位唔迫,環境舒服,靚海境,適合有時間坐低傾計慢慢食,應該會再去。見隔離檯個和牛陶板燒好似幾正,下次去試下~

我地大鄉里諗住可以食住碗和牛炒飯, 一路食和牛架嘛

環境 : good, 設計都幾特別, 顏色都好靚, 個view直情係無得頂
食品 : 都好符合我個人嘅期望 (睇完michelle嘅食評特登嚟幫趁)
但係若然佢地可以係燒嗰啲和牛之前俾我睇吓佢地個樣, 應該會令我覺得嗰十件和牛更加好味, 同埋會令我諗返多啲今年生日食咗啲乜囉

中價日本菜的滿足
最近不知為何, 特別喜歡吃日本菜, 一星期內食了四次都未厭. Week night 有一半的人入座, 我們選擇了cart 位, 很大很舒服. 我們今晚興緻勃勃的點了很多菜. 先來一個特級魚生拼盤, 有生蝦、海膽、Toro等等. 整體都唔錯, 只是Toro 有點太凍, 雪了太來. 給店員游說加一份秋刀魚剌生, 一般.
之後我們點了很多燒物- 雞軟骨、花茹、豬肉卷、牛脷等. 當然少不了鵝肝多士. 第一份來的時候又厚又大, 到第二.三份來的時候竟然只有第一份的一半, 真奇怪, 可能太晚了吧, 存貨不足.
最開心是嘗了一碗 稻庭烏冬, 很彈牙又扁身, 很容易吃.
甜品選了Cream Brulee 一般.
加上熱Sake 一瓶(上善如水), 埋單 1,200. 不貴. 很滿足!

"老""實"餐廳,食完你都"HEA"
法國鵝肝雜菌炒飯

心 太 軟
餐廳坐位唔算好多,枱與枱之空間都唔算闊落,以深色格調為住,但係又唔算係浪漫,賣點係有個由兩棟大廈之間望出去嘅維港夜景,又唔可以話係全海景,始終比怡東酒店低一班,但係始終都係唔同級數,唔可以相題並論。
講返坐位,唔知係咪有訂枱嘅關係,佢地比咗張四人卡位比我地,私人空間十足,但係設計想有少少不足之處。首先,坐椅好直,佢已經好醒目預先擺放咗四個 cushion,如果冇咗個cushion,你會覺得背部坐得比支筆還要直,但係個cushion又唔足以覆蓋你整個背部,而且你嘅pat pat可以坐在櫈上嘅位置淺咗短咗,搞到兩頭唔到岸,真係唔知佢地設計嘅原意想點。再者,設計主調已經黑沈沈,仲要兩盞射燈只可以夠照一邊嘅兩個座位,咁叻一邊呢,可以係連睇menu都有困難。
餐牌賣嘅九成主要都係傳統日本料理,但係甜品又加有好多款西式甜品,例如有Cream Brulee, Cheesecake, 心太軟,都幾奇怪架。而且佢地嘅刺身嘅溢價都頗高嘅,喺咁嘅地方,一片三文魚刺身定價$22,平均一片普通款式刺身賣$25,一盤有七款各兩片嘅刺身拼盤要$388,價錢都幾嚇人架。
食物方面:
1. 日式煮花螺 $58 - 中國用辣酒煮大家就食得多,用Sake去煮我就第一次食,首先係凍食,一啲都發輝唔到酒嘅香味,直頭可以話係一啲酒味都感覺唔到,質地仲要頗實,應該係因為落咗酒去煮之後仲要整凍佢,導致啲用實到失去彈性,呢種咁嘅處理方法我就一啲都唔識欣賞 ; 仲要上完道菜,餐具又欠奉,好在一叫侍應,應刻第一時間醒目地拎嚟,但係竟然係比支用嚟食大閘蟹嘅鐵叉,都有啲搞笑,搞到我地成日就住就住,一啲都唔方便。
2. 法國鵝肝雜菌炒飯 $58 - 用上日本珍珠米,但係忘記咗炒飯基本條件,要炒至乾身,呢點廚子辦唔到,跟住佢嘅鵝肝細粒得很,亦炒到老哂,食落口根本感覺唔到原本應該香濃嘅鵝肝味失蹤咗,雜菌味就不提也罷。
3. 雜錦天婦羅 $98 - 賣相ok,但食落就知出事,脆槳有點兒厚,而且導致食到中途,碟餸開始凍,脆槳即時變得好硬,食落口會整損口腔。用料有蝦、魚、蕃薯、茄子、鮮菇等,大部份都冇問題,但係主打嘅三隻蝦就炸得過火咗,每一隻嘅肉都又老又實,就隻蝦而言,小公主話差不多係佢食過中偏差嘅一次,大家可想而知,情況有幾嚴重。
4. 串燒 (雞軟骨 $16/串 + 牛舌 $28) - 連串燒都預上同一情況,就係燒得太乾,其實未食已經見得到表面燒到乾哂,食落口即時感覺到一陣燒乾表面嘅味道 ; 牛舌就切得太薄,雖然燒得唔錯,起碼入面仍然juicy,但係又預到另一情況,就係肉質頗實,可能係肉料唔夠好嘅關係,所以話佢地定價係偏高嘅。
5. 心 太 軟 $68 - 一上枱,賣相幾好,但係碟面好細,感覺啲食物好似好迫夾,朱古力蛋糕唔鬆軟,值得讚賞嘅係但入面嘅朱古力槳仍然係暖而且可以流動嘅,雪糕係用匙羹裝住,不過點解要咁做呢,應該係因為佢地驚雪糕太凍會整凍個朱古力蛋糕,而且支匙羹係雪凍咗,個雪糕就唔會咁易溶啦,但係點解廚師唔索性轉用大啲嘅碟,咁情況就可以輕易解決啦。
Comments: 我地今餐已經冇叫佢地嘅刺身,佢地份量亦唔算大,又冇飲酒,但係都要咁嘅價錢,抵食就唔見得 ; 服務同環境方面都幾好嘅,但食物方面主要係又老又實,味道還可以,但烹調技巧就有待改善。嚟得呢間餐廳,就唔好對佢嘅食物存有太大奇望,反而應將重點放落佢嘅景觀,咁我諗大家會食得舒服啲。

點知, 個晚去到, 好SURPRISE佢係度話安排唔到, 已經比人RESERVED/坐曬....我地無可奈何坐係卡位到, 望住其他個d window seats, 只見係有個牌"洞"左係度, 我地坐左有1個鐘以上有多, 先見終於有客人係坐係個d所謂既reserved位到....覺得佢地唔夠機靈, 做野死板板...我地都已經1個月之前book定, 都可以點都唔肯比我地....仲有係...4個人既個枱只係比2個人坐, 心諗有冇搞錯呀...識唔識賣枱架, 我地4個人死都唔比我地.....陣真係想即刻走..甘樣對新客...
我地又唔記得print coupon(free 鮑魚)出黎, 問佢可唔可以照free比我地, 佢地做野好死"姑姑"甘話, 只要你地是但一個有個張coupon, 我地都可以照free4客比我地...我地同佢講我地唔係唔知有呢個offer黎亂講, 只係我地唔方便print佢出黎姐, 點知佢地死都話冇如果冇個張coupon....真係好唔識做....
食野方面都幾好味道, 另外有d waiter's service都唔錯(好勤力幫客倒熱荼)....加油!!

不過好奇怪,一般嘅日本料理會先上刺身、壽司然後至到熟食,好等食客嘅味蕾從淡到濃咁享受食物本身嘅真正味道。呢度就唔係,無分次序,感覺都幾亂,而味道亦好壞參半。
清酒煮大蛤($68)— 每隻蛤都大大隻,幾新鮮。
馬糞海膽($100)— 雖然話係板裝膽而並非新鮮一隻隻即開,勝在夠新鮮甜美,正!
磯燒飽魚 — 醬汁較甜,加上鮑魚無味又太綿,食咗都唔知係乜。如果有優惠券,一試無防。
鐵板大蝦($48)— 唔係肥到出哂膏嗰種,都算新鮮爽口。
串燒黑豚肉車厘茄、露筍卷($18、38)— 露筍無驚喜,反而車厘茄嘅甜味好出。可能塊黑豚肉比較薄,燒得較乾,所以食唔到佢本身嘅味。
北海道帶子刺身($26)— 唔係大隻,但總叫ok新鮮甜美。
魚薄切($48)— 入口起初無味,但入喉就感覺到淡淡魚味。如果加上辣蘿蔔蓉同醬汁,魚嘅鮮味即刻以倍數提升。
鵝肝多士($38)— 鵝肝夠大件同厚身,入口即有滿足感。
野菜手打稻庭烏冬($48)— 幼細、彈牙。
北海道牛奶巨峰布甸($48)— 個名好吸引,賣相就好一般,勝在巨峰汁另上,咁就可以隨住個人喜好增加甜味。
總括嚟講,同三兩知己坐低响舒舒服服嘅環境,唔使太昂貴嘅消費,又可以睇到海景,此餐廳可以係一個唔錯嘅選擇。
