Like almost everyone at Lung Moon today, we were here to bid farewell to this long surviving restaurant. We got together 8 of us determine to try out all the dishes they had to order. A few of us have been here before but a few were here for the first time. Although we booked 2 weeks ago and confirmed the booking again only yesterday, we arrived to find we had no table. It was chaotic too with people taking photos everywhere, crowded around tables and grabbing Dim Sum from the steam trolleys. After about 10 minutes when I had given up, our 2 men found a table where a party had left and right under the backdrop sign for weddings in the middle of the room, so we were relieved that we were to get lunch.
We ordered a plate of char siu and roast goose as that was recommended by previous reviews. My colleague thought pregnant woman fried rice sounds fun and the waiter recommended for our vegetarian colleague the dry fried e fu noodles. With that out of the way, we took turns in twos to raid the dim sum trolleys. Basically, we took whatever types of dim sum they had at any time. So Har gau, siu mai, beef balls, steam chive dumplings, duck web wraps, chickens' feet, steam tripe, bean curd rolls, ma lai go, spare ribs and most importantly, the giant buns. I had never tried a giant bun and cut into the first one to share. Inside was chicken, pork, salted egg yolk and mushroom in my quarter. I could happily eat one of these and be full but I had to leave space to try other things.
Char Siu and roast goose was very good. The Char siu is charcoal grilled and not very burnt but smelt nicely of roast meat and I liked the roast goose more than that of Yung Kee's as the skin was crispy and shiny. I had quite a few pieces
Dry fried e fu noodles was nice with lots of straw mushrooms, very dark in colour, dry and not oily and flavoursome, I had more than a bowl.
Pregnant woman fried rice was a disappointment when it arrived. It was white with bits of vegetables in it. When we tasted it, it was egg white, vegetable bits with ginger which tasted better than it looked but nothing like the same name dish at Xi Yin which has black olives and is almost black in colour. This dish ended up suitable for our vegetarian colleague too.
We wanted to try some fried or baked dim sums but despite walking up and down all 3 floors, none of the dim sum stations had any. Likewise for dessert, there was only ma lai go and red bean bun. The Ma Lai Go came in a big steam basket like a giant cake cut up. It wasn't as dark in colour as some restaurants but tasted really nice. Pure and refreshing and not too sweet. Our vegetarian colleague had one of the 2 red bean paste buns and said it was good but it made her too full.
I had no idea how much food cost in this restaurant and had rung earlier to ask if they take credit cards. They said yes for bills above $200 but when I went to pay (yes, you have to go up to the cashier counter), they said cash only. Luckily, it only came to $760.
We can at least say we have tried many dishes and dim sums at Lung Wah in the last week of its existence and most of the dishes were above average or good. Understand that with this type of management, service and decor, it was a clever decision to sell the building which could feed the owner for generations.

龍門.曲終人漸散
小弟有幸與其他好友預購了結業這天的龍門夜宴入場券,與各位街坊好友一同見證龍門的最後一刻,拜別這間有六十年歷史的老牌酒樓。這晚酒樓特意邀請了多位名人到場支持,包括呂珊、盧海鵬、尹光等老牌明星,還請了歌手為各賓客表演歌舞,務求令大家賓至如歸,有個美好回憶。座上客除了有一眾七十年代明星外,來支持的還有立法會民主黨議員張文光、李永達,民協議員馮檢基與黨友廖成利等。
雖然今晚大家也志不在食,但小弟上來寫食評,無論如何也要交代一下是晚的菜單,尤其是酒樓替菜式改了些意頭好的名字。
除了餸菜外,每位食客理應有一罐免費酒水,但不知今晚老闆是否賣大包,還是想清去存貨,啤酒汽水均隨傳隨到,不另收費,我們足足開了近十枝大啤,還另叫了不少汽水哩。
另外,席前每個座位先放了一盒印有龍門大酒樓標誌的舊式火柴(有齊中英日語,而電話還是七位數字加上「五」字的地區字頭),及自製的賀年濕紙巾供食客留念。席上除了有表演嘉賓載歌載舞,也免費贈送每位食客一件龍門紀念T恤(單售也要 $100)。用於聚餐食物上,$300 算是太高,但最終大家收獲豐富,「又食又拎」,相信沒有人說不值得吧!
總括而言,正如之前板友有說,龍門是間有特色的酒樓,多於好吃的酒樓,這點小弟也認同。又如上述所言,大家今晚來此志不在食,每位食客都是想來留個美好回憶,尤其是舊式酒樓越來越少,大家更珍惜失去的。最後吃的吃,喝的喝,唱歌跳舞的繼續唱歌跳舞,拍照留念的也走到酒樓每一角落盡情攝,大家盡歡到最後一刻,直至龍門的大閘徐徐落下,燈箱熄滅,便正式為這六十年光景劃上一個完美的句號。

是日我們和三個同事前往吃龍門..知道它快要結業了!
上次來吃都是剛剛入公司training時!
當時的印象是不太乾淨...點心要自己去拎,一間古老的酒樓!
今次比較早點去,因為知道一定會很多人!加上老公仔打過來又說full了!
要自己搵位,老公仔很醒目的很快找到了位
同事就出去拿點心,馬拉糕不停供應,其他則要等和爭...
老公仔說义燒不可以錯過,就點了一碟例牌...
的確很肥美!toro來的!!

蝦餃好吃,蝦似乎很新鮮呢

牛肉,牛柏葉,都可以,沒特別,雞包都可以
坦白說,點心味道不特出...只是一份情...

龍門之最終回
客人不多, 但有幾檯老伯伯, 看得出他們已在此飲了好多年茶
下月開始, 都不知他們去邊 hea 呢.
其實並不餓, 兩人只叫了個炒粉.
好快上, 剛炒起的, 夠鑊氣, 味不錯.
飲啖茶, 見到不少人在拍照, 職員也好樂意介紹牆上的黑白相及酒樓的歷史.
當日仲有拍攝隊呢.
和媽在此飲杯茶, 感覺和20年前都差不遠呢~
今餐雖冇乜特別, 但最終回, 當然要笑啦.
希望各員工前程錦繡喇!

龍門大酒樓結業了 最後的回憶.

以前的莊士敦道有很多酒樓, 龍門是其中一間, 雖然好有歷史, 但往在灣仔的我很少去龍門飲茶, 在我角度, 它是一間有特色的酒樓多過是一間好食的酒樓, 平時會見到好多人影相, 不少是歐美遊客和電車迷. 如果不是去了德國, 我應該會加入最後一日去龍門. 小時候大多都是跟祖母去飲茶,大了很少去龍門, 早幾年吃了一個叉燒飯, 真是又硬又凍. 不過冬天食糯米飯又不錯..! 近幾年看看價錢年年升, 但客人年年跌, 我真是不知道如果運作下去. 結業可能是好事....
點都好, 在出發前一天, 和好友們去龍門吃一個午飯. 一進去, 真是奇景, 真是真是很久沒見過那麼多人, 搵位都幾難, 我還記得前幾年和朋友說笑, 如果多人不想等位就去龍門, 看來今次不成立......
上到二樓坐下一個路口位, 見到不少單反相機...= = 好的我也拍一些留記念.
可能多人食, 用多一些新鮮材料,比平時的好食一點. 當點心一出來的時候, 很多人湧出來, 我見到部長打去厨房講燒賣要、蝦餃要, 全部都要...笑左..XD...................
點都好, 留個記念, 我記得是九月時去的, 那麼快, 過多幾日就要和你說再見..
返來的時候, 在地鐵站走出來時沒機會再見到

同事提議去感受老灣仔風味,
於是lunch time大舉出動飲茶去。
中午食飯時間搵位唔難,
但拎點心要自己出馬,真係好耐無試過~
點心睇岩邊籠拎邊籠,珍珠雞大大隻! 正!!
最開心係同同事周圍影相,
畢竟老灣仔,買少見少了。

入到去人頭湧湧, 有的難先找到位~~
一坐低就搵野食, 叫了蝦餃和燒賣~~味道不錯,的蝦好爽口
之後叫了馬拉糕和雞包~~
馬拉糕就差的la~~ 硬左的
可能人手不夠, 好少點心~~而且一碟點心要$22

so 我覺得係食個氣氛~~
它的炒粉麵抵的, 可以一試

再黎龍門大包
一如上幾次,今次再黎幫襯早點,呢次幫襯外型有份量的---大包,對上一次食大包已經係好多年前了,食大包的機會唔會時常有,好多酒樓未必會造,因為成本都唔少,料多,有得賣自然都會賣得貴;令一方面有得賣的酒樓,因為市面供應唔多,所以都會每日都得早賣完。
八點零黎到都買到,總算無失望,不過要$20蚊一個略為貴少少,之前睇過報導好似話賣$15蚊,唔通襯結業加下價賺番筆?!
大包賣點係一個包同時食到豬肉,雞肉,鵪鶉蛋,冬菇,炸菜等等,唔同酒樓配搭都會唔同,味道已經好難分到食到咩,一個貪婪的慾望,一啖可以食到唔同的食物....味道還可以吧,沒有太大驚喜。
大包買少見少,不如去相,未有機會食過的朋友都可以睇下大包係點。

昨天睇報紙見在沙田經營了三十年的盛記麵家被領會加三陪租,無論自願或是被迫,這些富有香港特色而又大眾化的食店,始終難逃時代的變遷,這就是資本主義自由社會,自由與否就真係見仁見智喇!
返回主題,其實在龍門宣佈收皮之前都沒光 顧過,一直都只是與它擦身而過.直到十月四號,零晨四點放工,心血來潮與同事一起到灣仔等佢開門,食完這次後十一月九號同女朋友又去多次,可惜還沒機會吃它的晚飯.
點心唔樣樣講啦,每款點心用料都好足,實屬難得,本人最喜歡的是蝦餃、叉燒餐包、牛肉腸.
蝦餃--->內有筍絲,我食過好多酒樓都是只有蝦沒其他.我比較鐘意食有筍的蝦餃.
叉燒餐包--->包面鬆軟,包底脆脆地,又熱熱地,加上龍門嘅叉燒,正呀!
牛肉腸--->佢嘅腸粉其實麻麻地,唔夠滑,但牛肉腸加左芫茜好香口,其他的酒樓亦是牛肉就只有牛肉,所以我覺得龍門這個牛肉腸,正呀!
還有叉燒,食得出有炭火味,但又未至於超好食,只係超貴啫= ="
像龍門這樣的茶樓,香港還有幾多間呢?

燒鵝王併叉燒 :素聞這裡的肥叉出色,入口果然鬆軟蜜味,我這個叉燒狂當然不禁地吃多幾件,懶理膽固醇的問題,我始終覺得叉燒是半肥瘦最好食的;燒鵝相反就很一般,皮脆卻肉不嫩,且被“燒味汁”浸得有點過咸;
杏汁菜胆炖白肺豬"月展"湯:湯底清甜,白菜味濃厚,皆因用料十足且做法認真,菜胆軟腍無渣,但完全感覺不到杏汁的存在,這也沒關條罷,這個炖湯真的好喝,我和女友都喝了兩大碗;
翡翠蠔皇鮑菇:芡汁杰身味濃,鮑菇則沒有味道,豆苗翠綠;
海哲伴鴛鴦雞:鴛鴦雞是豉油雞和炸子雞,用的也應該是雪藏雞,沒有雞味也是可以接受,不過炸子雞炸得過了火,豉油雞的豉油味又不夠濃厚,肉質也不夠嫩滑,鴛鴦雞豈不是成了“雙失雞”?
西芹花枝蚌片:一道酒席常見的菜式,花枝及珊瑚蚌尚算爽滑;
砵仔雞蛋焗魚腸:每席有三砵,不過做的很失敗,雞蛋焗得太乾,魚腸很醒,吃了少許就沒有再吃;
炆大班翅:紅燒芡多到完全蓋過了斑翅,支竹、蒜子、冬菇和大蔥鋪滿了整隻碟,幾乎找不到斑翅,斑尾頓成了配角,而且味道和口感皆乏善足陳,幸好芡汁味道濃淡適宜;
足料八珍扒大鴨:和上一道菜一樣,八珍又成了主角,用料十足,有豬潤、魷魚、蝦、冬菇等,大鴨被這足料的芡汁淹沒下,幾乎變得可有可無,而且肉質不夠嫩滑,煮得過老;
潮式炒飯:簡直是“油鑊撈飯”,飯粒軟腍而且可以“炒”到一堆堆的,飯粒上的油清晰可見,難怪有不少食友棄之不吃。
因為很飽和個人來說很少吃酒樓附送的糖水,所以馬蹄露我沒有吃。雖然食物質素真的很一般,不過相信一眾食友來這裡志不在食物,懷緬過去的昔日情懷才是重點。曲終人散,離開時和其他食友在「龍門」前拍照留念,然後起程去溝貨。
最後,再一次多謝南瓜兄的邀請和籌劃是晚的飯局。

不過都ok貴喎.....
叫左唔多野...4,5樣都千幾蚊圍埋單咯!
d炸子雞好味呀!
但石斑兩味就唔掂喇....
叉燒外賣超值!廿幾蚊一大盒,堂食就唔係啦,..

有點失望.....
是晚五個人,叫左D睇食評推介o既菜色:
-叉燒燒鵝雙拼
-砵仔焗魚腸
-花尾兩味
-蜜餞紫薑雞
-是日例湯:菜膽豬肺湯
-豆豉鯪魚炒油麥菜
見個個都讚叉燒燒鵝好食,第一個叫o既餸就係佢,唔知係咪夜左去,D叉燒全部都係筋位,蜜味不錯,可惜唔香,加上D肉質地真係唔係太好,唔好話同再興比,我覺得連修頓隔離間燒味店都不如,希望只是失手之作.燒鵝也沒多大驚喜,皮下好大舊油,見到都唔係好敢食,自問都食得幾肥都唔怕死,但係望住呢個鵝油,真係無咩食o既衝動,可能近年食得太多燒鴨,已不習慣鵝的肥和"騷".....
焗魚腸係成晚令我最失望既餸,蛋焗得極度乾,食左一啖都叫其他人唔好食,因為真係太難食.一度懷疑是否番焗....
花尾兩味:西蘭花炒球同蒸頭腩,炒球味道不錯,可惜油有點過多,蒸頭腩也不過不失.
全晚唯一可以讚,亦值得讚--蜜餞紫薑雞,汁的甜味調得剛剛好,,紫薑(子薑??)也很好吃,如果D雞用番啖啖肉o既雞肶肉會更加好.
唔知係咪例湯關係,同樣係豬肺湯,我飲唔到之前食評的好,比起得記買飯送o既例湯還有點不如....
就係因為之前好多餸都唔o岩食,結果叫個好安全o既豆豉鯪魚炒油麥菜,除左較多油外,味道不錯.
期望變失望,希望只係一時錯手,希望可以抽到時間去食番次點心.
因為本人遲到關係, 一坐低就食,所以一張相都無影相,希望各位包涵!!

再黎龍門點心
荳苗餃有3隻,HK$15,拎到返公司,餃還熱,賣相不差,脹卜卜,餃皮不油,用叉食恐防弄破薄薄外皮,唯有用手,小心將餃子分開,果然明乎其實,餃身脹實,料足,咬開口感一流,絕無欺場,滿口荳苗同蝦,不錯。
結業進入倒數時間,有機會再試其他點心...

叉燒一哥???當真?
叉燒油雞飯
我唔知「掟」,一去到就直入酒樓,阿姐明明見到我,招呼都唔打就一定啦,但佢見我個樣咁無助都唔理,忍功非常了得。最後我係旁邊的點心檔見到師傅,立即求救,呵呵,點知原來燒味部係隔離,我真係大鄉里。
燒味部一大陣「噏」味,有個大概年過60的大嬸坐係收錢機前收錢,食飯黃金時間竟然空無一人,我order了我一向的心水雙拚,叉燒油雞飯(多豉油)。
係office打開飯盒,整體賣相都唔錯,叉燒切得整齊而且見到D麥芽糖閃令令,食一啖試下,啊,都算唔錯,可惜多食幾舊發覺麥芽糖味唔夠,香甜不足,豬肉更有「蘇」味。坊間盛讚的炭燒叉燒,炭燒味一D都食唔出,莫非已經停止供應?
反而油雞相比之下較出色,並無一般雪雞的問題例如肉質偏軟,過肥過油等等,鹹味適中,不過當然無咩雞味啦!
總括黎講,我覺得龍門燒味部跟「叉燒一哥」呢個美譽還有一段距離,係灣仔想食靚燒味仲有好多選擇。
BTW,我個飯無加豉油呀!
