Two people went to yum cha. I made a reservation before to ensure there is table available.
The environment is the best among all branches of lei garden in HK. Very spacious, bright and comfortable.
We ordered 4 dim sum. 魚米餃 $21, 蝦腸$34 煎雞飽$25, 籮白絲酥$25.All taste good and fresh and hot enough. Nothing to complain.
At last, we ordered 蝦干肉眼根臘味煲仔飯$98. That is a portion for two people but definitely sure it is ok for 3 or even 4 people. The standard is for sure very good.
We are both very satisfied with the standard of food and reasonable service.
This is my 20-30 times here, my family love to yum cha, and lei garden is the only place for yum cha in elements. But we decide not to go anymore, the food quality is going down and down.
Fish Steak: the portion is large, but its overcooked. Its around $350, its not worth it Crispy Chicken: its fine Curry Beef: its hard to chew... too hard... Vegtetable: taste nth, we have to add salt by our own
The food tastes good! but expensive. The sevices is ok.
Maybe mother's day, only can reserve the table either 6pm pr 8pm, after reserve the table, they call me 5 days before mother's day and fax the menus to me. They request me to order first. There had not too much food can be chosen on that day.
We have visited Lei Garden in Elements for several times since their opening. The quality has been fluctuating especially when we ordered seafood related dishes.
Today we, a total of 7 people, went there at 8pm for dinner for sake of convenience as my son's family with young children are living at Kowloon Station. We were recommended by one of the female managers on choices of dishes, including steamed fish, weighed 18兩, which was supposed to be "fresh and swimming" according to price tag ($28 per 兩).
The outcome was disastrous. For my 30 years' experience in cooking seafood, I can't imagine a so called "quality" restaurant (with Michelin rating in other branches) would bring us a "frozen" fish to sell like fresh fish. The taste was just like metal and bile.
We called back the female manager for comment, attempted to voice out our feeling only (we definitely wanted a fair feedback). She answered, 'this was the only one left for you to order...' 'Oh, that's why' I thought. Yet the logic does not make sense. Is the coporation only aiming at clearing up the stock instead of customer-oriented service? How come at the first hand the manager had to recommend the near-expired "fresh" food?
The manager then brought the fish back to kitchen and asked the cook for comment. However, the manager's gesture and attitude reflected her thought: we were playing tricks. Two minutes later she returned and said the fish had "no problem at all". But she initiated cancellation of the bill for that fish. That was another illogical move! We never asked for cancellation yet we only expressed on their dishonesty. Obviously from their point of view, we seeked for Jetso only.
While we checked the bill, the pay for the fish was cancelled. We used the credit card to pay the bill, with an addition of $600 cash as "'tips". The female manager said with smiling face, 'oh please don't do that, 我良心過意不去, 我會睡不著". My son replied, 'That's your own business'. I understand her logic finally.
I would formally lauch a complaint to their administration. And of course, that would be our last visit.
lee garden always our 1st choice in elements. just still not satisfy with the 1.5 hour time limited. 3 ppl lunch eat more then 500 dollars but very rush since the time limit is 1.5 hour even we r 15 mins late. afterward i diaherra 4 times in elements washroom. i am not sure if the beef is not fully cook or if my digestive system is not good. or the food are too oily. also i want to suggest all lee garden putting a pen on the table for ppl to mark dim sum. i find out that all lee garden around hk do not having this service.
had dinner there with ~10 friends last week, really extremely bad experience.
when ordering, they really keep suggesting really expensive dishes only; it's not like we are ordering cheap dishes, we still ended up with HKD 300 or so per person; but it seems like they just keep suggesting dishes that no people will pick for a normal family/friend dinner.
they added dishes to your order without telling you. e.g. we ordered a peking duck which is listed as around HKD 300 or so on the menu, and they added the dish using the duck meat automatically on to your order without telling you.
when we asked them about this additional dish, they admitted it's not right adding it by themselves, but since they said it's HKD 50 or so only, so we said ok, let's keep it then.
when we got the bill, the additional dish they added by themselves was listed among the ~20 items there as HKD 80-90. luckily I spent the time reading through the 20 items - not a big amount but it's just completely disgraceful of them cheating people along the way - first by adding a dish themselves, and second by telling you a low price but charging you more.
we booked the 6 - 8 pm timeslot. starting from 7:30 pm they came maybe every 2-3 minutes and asked if we could pay first, if we don't need the dishes anymore (apparently there's still much food there), etc - if you told me I need to leave by 8 pm, I don't expect to be disturbed once every 2-3 minutes for half an hour. they said at 7:30 pm that the 8 pm guests have already arrived - frankly that's not my business at all, you told me I have the table until 8 pm. and, in fact when we looked around, between 7:30 pm and 8 pm, there were at least 2 other empty 10+ people tables in the restaurant - which they are not using for those "guests who have arrived early".
I live above Kowloon Station and so have come here for a few times - but frankly, every single time it's just some frustrating experience. the front-line staff have really completely destroyed the efforts of their chefs, because otherwise I think the food is quite decent. but I really have no interest going there anymore because of all these extremely rude and disgraceful service.
arrived at 7:15 pm for dinner, want to order the soup of the day... but to my surprise... it's all gone.... wanna to order the ribs, again, all gone... so so surprise as 7:15 pm can have such experience... wondering most of the HK people have dinner at 6 pm ?!?!?!?
then the waitress (from Mainland?!?) keeps recommeding sharp fins, or other expensive dishes....
so disappointed on their approach, if they only serves expensive dishes and without the will to offer cheaper dishes, why not simply just focus on what they want to sell.... and simply forget the cheper dishes.... well... this is just simply unacceptable and i don't think i will go there again...
this is a matter of business ethics..... but if the management decided to take this approach, well... i won't be your customer again !!!!

接待員一個也好,兩個甚至三個也好,一律黑面待人;明明有十數張空枱,你walk-in入去,員工黑面一號會用冷冷的問:「冇訂枱冇位。」但當黑面一號至三號心情好,或有熟客時,突然冇訂枱冇位又變成有位!
我本來不想多說,但今次已超過忍耐極限......不是和朋友在圓方逛街,朋友路過說想去利苑飲茶,我是不會去的。我想:「即管去多次,睇吓係咪又係咁。」......我今天受的氣比之前更甚!我們不但沒有位,更看到旅客walk-in都有位。問黑面一號點解揀客,黑面一號狡辯說:「佢哋有book㗎!」難道她的人腦原來是電腦?因為她一眼也沒有看過訂位紙,便「派位」給那些旅客。他們的「派位」準則是甚麼?要看外表派頭?我們一行四人,位位身光頸靚,要不要show show駕甚麼車?有幾錢身家?利苑只不過是一間普通酒樓,我到任何一間酒店也未受過如此待九流服務!
朋友的公司取消了在利苑擺春茗,改到一樓的百樂門,真是英明的決定。

估唔到呢度都幾多喊面wor,我覺得ok啦,可能飲茶唔同晚飯啦,質素ok,價錢都可以接受。入到去環境ok呀,佢仲安排左卡位俾我地坐添,好舒服。不過個D侍應成日叫我地叫D燉湯飲下,下午食飯邊有人叫燉湯架....哈哈,我都無理佢。
一見到張點心紙第一想叫既就係蛋撻啦,我真係好鍾意食蛋撻架,不過只限酥皮,唔鍾意餅皮。佢個蛋撻都幾好食呀,好鬆化,酥皮好香,中間個蛋汁又夠滑,好味呀! 之後叫左個泥鯭粥,我地仲有D擔心佢有骨,不過最後當然無啦,因為佢已經整到爛哂,個粥幾入味,清清地,食到D薑粒可能要黎僻左D 腥味,都幾好食。之後就叫左個油菜,因為梗係要平衡下食返D菜架啦,成日食咁多肉! 個菜份量幾多,不過無咩味就真,但佢D菜心都已經算係嫩D架啦,所以都可以接受啦,雖然就一定無唔係咁抵食架啦。
之後仲叫左蝦餃同蝦腸,哈哈,兩個都普通啦。D蝦幾爽口,但無咩鮮味,蝦餃皮厚左少少,但唔會一夾就散。腸粉就唔算薄同滑... 所以勉強啦~~~ 最後叫左個棗黃糕,佢會問我地要幾多件架,咁我地就要左兩件,都幾好食,煙煙UNUN咁,而且好香紅棗味,有3層,中間個層應該係椰汁味,都幾好食,味道幾夾。
我覺得飲茶既食物都OK啦,不過晚飯就唔知啦,未食過,偶然都可以黎飲下茶呀。

我較為怕食魚~ 古法蒸海瓜子班~魚質鮮滑又無骨,好啱我怕有魚⻣但又想食魚ge 人^^要特別介紹係~ 生磨蛋白杏仁茶 ~本人一向聞到杏仁味就唔舒服 ga la...竟然今次見到用蛋白混入杏仁茶,絕品好味,仲要添飲ar...所以我以後都會到圓方利苑酒家飲咦個生磨蛋白杏仁茶,唔記得咗問有無散叫tim...

星期天飲茶家庭樂
先叫一輪點心等人齊, 留左心愛嘅蟹粉小籠包, 一人一隻食住先. 仲有蝦餃, 叉燒包, 鳳爪, 雞扎, 帶子腸, 蝦腸. 點心樣樣都好味, 特別係蟹粉小籠包, 食一隻梗唔夠喉啦, 每人要多隻呀, 唔該. 蟹粉小籠包真係好鮮味, 蟹粉多之餘, 肉汁係完全鎖住係小籠包里面.
跟住要左d小食, 計有蜆芥炸鯪魚球, 呢個無得頂, 又唔油, 又香口, 最緊要係個蜆芥醬好出色嘛. xo醬鴨舌, 又香又麻, 鴨舌好入味. 炸魷魚鬚都好味, 灼菜芯正常.
之後叫左個荷葉飯, 呢個飯好香荷葉味, d料又足, 完全滿足到老爸嘅要求.
最後食左一round甜點, 各自點左自己嘅心頭好, 我個栗子茸西米布甸好好味呀.
服務我就覺得幾好呀, 個四眼哥哥尤其落力, 抵我俾多d tips佢.

約了13位媽咪&小朋友聚會, 這天選擇去"圓方廣場"[利苑]飲茶. 訂了1:45p.m. 我地1:35p.m 到, 但職員話未到 1:45p.m 喎. 我地 1:45p./m 準時攞位,職員又叫我地坐一陣
仲話房內張枱執緊, 之後等下5分鐘、等下又5分鐘, 仍然話張枱執緊.
我詢問期中一位職員執咩枱要咁耐. 佢冇回答行咗去..........最後2:15p.m才入坐,
點心亦很快到. 3:00p.m左右職員已經叫我地結賬, 仲話可以慢慢坐.
但到咗3:15p.m, 居然有另一位職員話酒樓今日要大清潔,
即係叫我地走啦, 佢有講'唔好意思'.
但就企定係房門口.
一頓差不多$1200嘅下午茶, 趕頭趕命咁.

裝修very good. 訂了一個肘子燉海虎翅, 湯底一流, d海虎翅間直正.
一個字講晒 - 正 !!!!!!!!!
清蒸一條東星斑, 略大條左少少, 但火路依然一流.
侍應服務相當好, 雖然價格貴d, 但仍可接受.

you won't get what you want
so so surprise as 7:15 pm can have such experience... wondering most of the HK people have dinner at 6 pm ?!?!?!?
