i've been here 3 times now. consistently, the tempura is what you can't miss here. first of all, the chef i believe was from inagiku, which everyone knows is the BEST tempura restaurant in HK. the style and quality of the tempura does really rival that of inagiku. the batter is light, crisp and not oily, does not overpower the food inside. it is always served pipping hot while still juicy inside.
you will miss out if you don't order some a la carte tempuras from their tempura menu. some pretty innovative different tempura from ur usual shrimp / white fish / pumpkin tempura. really loved the uni w/ shiso leaf tempura and a few others.
the sushi / sashimi was also very fresh. and they have some pretty innovative and delicious sushi rolls. ask the chef!
the price is not cheap, but not as expensive as inagiku in my opinion. it's definitely worthed.
friend wanted japanese meal so we took advantage of the 30% discount until the end of December.
Environment was ok, slightly too dark for my liking, but at least clean and quiet. We sat at the tables rather than sushi countertop. The waitress were diligent in pouring tea and food came at a good pace, not too fast or slow.
Tempura batter was light and crispy, not oily. Sushi platter was good, fresh and tasty. The 3 types of sashimi platter was slightly disappointing, in that the slicse of fish were tasteless (probably the sushi fish were better as there was rice to accompany it), small, and rather meagre looking. The beef cooked in potato was alright, the taste was good, the sauce was flavourful, but the beef looked like it came from Yoshinoya's rice bowl. The most disappointing dish was the grilled ox tongue, it was like chewing on rubber, i could even hear the squidy noises made by my friend when he bravely tackled the pieces of plastic. The $200 sake was decent.
They gave us a free icecream scoop after we smiled nicely at the heavily pregnant waitress

令老媽眉開眼笑的一餐
十分滿意的一餐... 實在要表揚一番..食物的味道及水準還是其次, 態度誠懇有心思是令我最欣賞的!。當然食物也相當有水準,魚生很新鮮,壽司配搭很新穎,沒有像一般日本料理店的千篇一律; 出名的天扶良皮薄而脆,亦不覺油,放涼一點吃仍然又香又脆。
最值得讚賞是師傅詢問了媽子的飲食喜好,知道她不太喜歡魚生,嫌它肉質太稔,反而鍾愛貝類,為此,媽子的魚生壽司全部別樹一格,跟我們其他人的一同,似專為她設計的,只有蝦、蟹子、及炸蔥toro手卷、而魚類壽召司則全部燒香了,半生熟的加上薑蔥的調味,媽子由原本對魚生表現抗拒到最後躍躍欲試的興奮,完全是師傅精心安排的結果。我真的感謝師傅的心思,令媽子這頓生日飯吃得分外高興!!!
雖然這餐令我的荷包流血不止,還是挺值得的 !!!

叫左兩個餐,
前菜,面士湯,蒸蛋,三件刺身
餐一: 天婦羅,香味牛肉粒,煮大根
餐二: 薯仔雞肉煮,炸蝦餅,鹽燒牙帶
先講蒸蛋,多油多水,食到一半已經變左豆腐花.....
天婦羅炸到乾哂,蝦餅成舊粉咁,無味既....
飯不是日本珍珠米,係好似超市買番來個d中國珍珠米....
話明鹽燒牙帶,都冇鹽燒,完全冇味,腥到爆
薯仔雞肉煮好似屋企紅羅卜薯仔湯d湯渣咁....
最頂引係咩都來哂都仲未有刺身食....來到後是一個好大的碗裝滿冰
上面有三小塊刺身,好像某餐廳的冰x奶茶....
網頁話有天婦羅雪榚,去到又話要早好多日預訂.....
加兩杯汽水埋單hk$363...呢餐我覺得完全係唔掂

REAL BAD !!!
The egg custard was very watery
The undon was extremely soft.
The sushi rice has no favour, just like a plain bowl of rice.
The deep freied was off with very strong oil favour.
For this amount of money, we expected much better food.
At most I would only pay $40 for this lunch set.

tempura mecca & innovative rolls
you will miss out if you don't order some a la carte tempuras from their tempura menu. some pretty innovative different tempura from ur usual shrimp / white fish / pumpkin tempura. really loved the uni w/ shiso leaf tempura and a few others.
the sushi / sashimi was also very fresh. and they have some pretty innovative and delicious sushi rolls. ask the chef!
the price is not cheap, but not as expensive as inagiku in my opinion. it's definitely worthed.

時為週末,店子七成滿. 見壽司吧有位,便與好友坐下,二話不說點了omakase, 試試師傅功力. 在等候食物時,見兩旁食客同樣任由師傅發辦,但驚訝有燒豬頸肉,似乎有港式之嫌,心裡立時一涼,便跟侍應小姐說明我們只要刺身及壽司.
已記不起總共吃了些甚麼 (大概包括有平正魚,深海池魚,金目鯛,北寄貝,赤貝刺身,海螺,海膽軍艦壽司,牡丹蝦). 除了因為已是差不多兩星期前的事,是晚刺大部份刺身質素令人失望,似養魚多過海魚,欠缺魚鮮味; 壽司方面亦屬一般,可能本貓並不太欣賞師傅的創作壽司吧,不喜歡以濃醬汁蓋過生魚生蝦. 份量是足夠的, 但食物方面可說沒有一樣令人印象深刻. 招呼倒是十分殷勤,但友人覺得師傅太多話,口水花四濺有礙衛生
是晚本貓請客,埋單$1550. 絕對不值.
同場還加映右邊男食客勁嘔吐事件… 唉…

終於試到岩浪
超級期待天婦羅。第一次 realise 天婦羅的日文是天扶良
見到 menu 有 天扶良 set $120 for 10 件,不得重複;及壽司 set $135 for 8 件 + 卷物一款,又係不得重複。
咁食 $250 for 16 件可以重複的 set 又好似無叫三個咁抵。
我地結果三人要了兩個天扶良 & 一個 sushi set。
叫了太多野食 share,真係唔係幾記得食左 d 乜味
天扶良的汁 set 終於正宗的分鹽、同tempura sauce。
天扶良有 (d 粉漿真係幾薄
蝦 - 很興奮的去點鹽食,但鹽都蓋唔到佢唔新鮮的 sang 味,失望!

因為特登 book 坐Bar 枱,師傅即炸即上,全程有師傅教你點食,但要逐樣慢慢等佢上齊....
算是有 d "表演" 睇下.....
服務都幾好,係最尾想收午市時就唔斟茶。
本來以為幾貴,但除番開都係百四一個人,都抵既!不過天扶良蝦個度扣左好多分,我都係覺得 O....K......啦。

以上係一個 lunch 既 menu (其中一個set), 要我用一個字去形容lee個set, 我會用 "正" 呀黎形容...
lunch menu 都有好多既選擇, 不過首選上面果個menu 最為抵食及好食 由(1) 食到去 (6), 收費只需 $120 (未連加一), 食物水準及好食程度係物超所值....
影相當日, 男友就叫左上面果個set, 而我因為唔係好肚餓就叫左另一個銀雪魚set ($90, 包上面既item (1), (2) 及 (6) 另加一個銀雪魚及白飯一碗)... 個心都好想叫男友果個set 因為真係抵食,好食,但個set 其實好多野食下,無謂浪費麻....
至於我個銀雪魚餐, 其實都好食, 個魚好有魚味, 唔算好油, 不過始終遜色過男友果個餐

新鮮肥美
我喜歡岩浪的天婦羅, 因為粉漿不會太厚, 薄薄哋; 自選十件, 不能重覆, 叫咗活蝦,沙追魚, 瀨尿蝦, 倉魚, 鮑魚, 南瓜, 帶子… 等, 不過好似細件咗.
刺身新鮮肥美.
大半年沒有來,感覺差 咗, d 人嘈咗, 完全唔似食緊日本嘢, 這不是酒樓, 請大家保持儀態, 把音量收細.

一個人包場
先來簡單一點,想看看師傳的功力.選了本地蝦,沙追魚,蕃薯,青椒,南瓜,茄子,以年糕,價錢方面還不算貴,先來了檸檬,鹽等以及專為蔬菜的汁.因自己一人的關係,如果質素還差的話,不來也罷.天婦羅則而二個人負責,一個炸,而另一個則放進碟上,而本地蝦,身形瘦削,用日本蝦的話,價錢也貴一倍,但炸得不錯,脆口美味,碟上還剩下殼,侍應主動換新碟,接著第二款則是沙追魚,和前著相若,肉質有點像九肚魚,,炸得美味滑溜的肉,二者的油漬也控制不錯,看來這裏專長炸魚,
接著開蔬菜類,第一款蕃薯,一小片而帶點[粉],算是不賴.南瓜是自己喜歡的食物,用燒或炸的味道分別不大,青椒和茄子只失望的一回,份量細小,炸得不黏身,油漬也較其他為多.年糕我認為也是出色之作,外脆內軟,炸比燒更喜歡,這裏蔬菜只是普通之作,食得有點不足夠最後追加三款魚,分別池魚,小紅衫魚以及金石魚,
[金石魚]是師傳推介,雖是推介不及沙追魚來得好,但也值一吃,紅衫常常食的是煎,這次是炸,炸得出色,煎也不及炸來得好,美味也.池魚只是整晚普通的魚,味道不突出,難以形容.每件食物師傅也會說一次用什麼來進食,侍應服務也不錯.
臨走時也沒有客人,顯得冷清.埋單300元,份量不多,這裏控油也不錯.好像午餐更抵食,這裏也可以一試..

食物方面,創作壽司4件$100,約半吋粗,略細,其中一款帶子壽司上有少許海膽,帶子無鮮味,海膽就新鮮;炙燒三文魚加魚子,無燒魚香味,千兩好好多。
天婦羅: 南瓜2件$20,舞茸菇2件$30,蕃薯2件$20,全都是奀chichi,薄yiyi,好彩無叫白果或海膽天婦羅,否則無嘢食,賣相全無,天婦羅粉一般,不及有次去和幸小料理,個粉夠薄脆。蕃薯味道像中國薯,但我喜歡,但真係又薄又細件,約2mm厚。
刺身: 深海池魚2片(半客)$64,三文魚2片(半客)$32,赤貝一個$90,新鮮但又係全無賣相,唔夠上次去万藏咁厚及新鮮。
原本想叫個炒飯,這裏沒有,只有一個煎飯,所以我們決定去別處再食過。
埋單CHECK吓,帳單是用英文,看到多咗一客吞拿魚腩刺身約$180,少咗赤貝,叫經理CHECK,見佢行去收銀機更改帳單,而沒有詢問落單的待應或入廚問問廚師,是否真的出錯?

前菜賣相精緻
我自名是日本食家,試盡大大少少的日本料理,OMAKASE是最考師傅功力同時又最易反應餐廳質數的,因為傳統OMAKASE會由師傅按當日的時令食材,及根據客人個別的口味即席配搭創作菜式,即一些MENU上沒有列明的新奇配搭,令整餐晚宴充滿驚喜及期待。
而我之所以帶爸媽到岩浪食OMAKASE的原因是,它的食物種類十分廣,而且RICKY師傅的創作壽司賣相實美輪美奐,再加上以天婦羅掛帥的日本料理,天婦羅水準甚有保証,而最喜出望外的是煮物燒物及漬物都有頗多選擇,所以即使每位$700都覺得值回票價,皆因吃到心頭好之餘每次都飽到爆,如果你跟我家人一樣是大食”積” 或像我 一樣超喜歡BUFFET的包羅萬有,岩浪絕對值得你一試。

12月份-超抵!!!唔去就笨
創作壽司 - ..至愛有蝦嗰件..不過唔知咩名
一向都係岩浪fans 嘅我,最近抽空上去跟朋友聚餐,一心想著經濟不景仲去大魚大肉,有點過意不去,誰不知,侍應小姐話12月內晚市一律7折..... 嘩!
