Azure Restaurant Slash Bar offers the best semi-buffet deal so far.

We were a party of 10 people. We went there on May 12, Sunday, Mother’s Day. Azure has a special buy one get one free semi-buffet deal. A hostess placed us in a private room on the 29th floor for easy access given there were a few seniors. Normally, the 29th floor serves as a bar but the manager has turned it into a restaurant setting during the day time.
We were promptly seated and the hostess did pass out enough menus for all of us to order. The semi-buffet came with a choice of appetizer, main course, coffee or tea plus of course the semi-buffet. The appetizer had two choices of sashimi or seafood platters which included fresh oysters, shrimps, and crab legs. The selection of the semi-buffet was somewhat limited. While it lacked in selection, it made up in quality. There were cauliflower soup, fresh smoked salmons, sun dries tomato, a variety of salad, a few selection of cheese and desserts etc.
The main courses were outstanding too: flank steak was cooked to perfection, spring chicken was tender, fish & chips were done in the right way, and even pork sirloin with apple sauce was tender although it came with white rice.

I am not easily pleased and have been a harsh critic of many highly rated restaurants such as Domani at the Pacific Place to the point that Open Rice has refused to publish it. So far, Azure has won my praise. Azure may not have attractive waiters and waitresses but they were attentive, polite, and diligent. The overall pleasant dining experience had made a good impression on us. Whether Azure is on the coveted Michelin Guide is inconsequential as long as you know what’s good. But if you believe in credit rating agencies, then you probably should buy into Michelin Guide.

My friend and I decided to try the semi-buffet lunch at Azure after seeing their Earth Day promotion. Their lunch starts at 12pm and lasts until 2:30pm. The appetisers and desserts were set out on a table - buffet style, and each person could order a choice of fresh / cooked seafood, a main and coffee or tea.

There was a selection of salads and cold cuts, including smoked salmon and salami. There was a soup and bread as well. I thought the appetisers were pretty good, especially the smoked salmon.

For the seafood we ordered the seafood composition and the platter so we could try both. It was ok, not really special.

For the main I ordered the steak.

I kind of regret ordering the steak... The slice itself was pretty thin, which means it could be easily overcooked. It was rough and I gave up on finishing it in the end. My friend ordered the roast chicken. It was better than the steak, but still it lacked taste.

The desserts were better. There was a variety of different mini cakes, mousse cups, and a selection of fruit.

I've read comments saying that the cheesecake is good, and I agree, although it would have been better if it was kept cold. The mango mousse was delicious (especially the second one I had when they refilled the selection so it was cold!tongue) It contained 'popping candy', which seems to be very popular nowadays.

The Earth tiramisu for Earth Day was really good. It was made up of green tea mousse, red bean, espresso sponge and chocolate 'soil'. Even the pot is edible! lol It's not as filling as the traditional tiramisu, but even so we were really full by the end of the meal.

I quite enjoyed the meal overall, the idea of semi-buffet lunch is great and the price is reasonable. I would visit again, however I really need to choose my main course wisely.

我們的生日。

一星期後,我們將會飛到國外完成我們的人生大事了,
生日,就不想大費周章,簡簡單單,和家人在一起,也就最快樂。

我們選了LKF HOTEL內的Azure Restaurant ,因為景觀吸引,價錢相宜,
今天亦是大年初四,來個假日午餐,也不錯。
午餐的LUNCH BUFFET,其實就是主菜選一款,頭盤和Dessert任吃的半自助餐,($238 per person)
中午十二時,一行四人來到位於三十樓的餐廳,
餐廳共有2層,下層主要是bar,內有桌球檯,很合一班朋友happy hour把酒言歡,
上層主要是餐廳提供主食,裝潢是藍色和湖水綠為主調,看著就很relax的顏色,
加上180度大玻璃窗,遙望著整個中環鬧市,午餐給人居高臨下悠閒寫意之感,
相信晚餐的話,會是中環晚上的另一片景象,
浪漫醉人的夜景﹑閃爍的繁囂夜燈也會盡收眼底。

先吃冷盤,沙律也有幾款,選擇不算少,
比較特別的要數一款芝士沙律,
把自選的配料如生菜,生果,煙肉碎...等等放到大如面盤的芝士上,
再把所有食材在芝士上面拌勻,變成芝士沙律了,
這種沙律蘋果茶只在Mira的Yamm裡見過,
說實在也真的好吃又好玩呢~
另外煙三文魚也是必吃,煙火腿的質素和味道也不錯。

值得一提是每一檯也會送的海鮮頭盤,
有生蠔和長腳蟹,
輪賣相實在"鮮"聲奪人,吸引度沒得輸!!!
生蠔是小的品種,海水味重,
吃得出的新鮮,滑進喉嚨,再帶著回甘的甜味。
長腳蟹相比起來沒那麼鮮甜,但肉不少,
合格以上了~
可惜不能像早前的優惠一樣任吃...

再來便差不多吃main course,
蘋果茶和姐姐一向偏好雞肉而且也不吃牛,
Grill Chicken Breast是不二之選,
上桌是三塊雞胸肉,
淋上蘑菇sauce,可惜也救不了賣相和味道同樣淡薄乏味的雞肉,
真像沒有調味過的急凍雞柳,
整個主菜唯一可取的是粟米蓉煎成的玉米餅,
小小的一塊,卻包含著蛋香和玉米香,煎成香脆可口,討好。

男友和朋友仔選牛肉:Slow Cook Beef Short Rib,
蘋果茶沒有試吃,但看來應該沒雞肉那麼乾涸和鞋口吧。

失望之後,不如就吃甜的彌補一下,
小小的甜品,能淺嚐又不用佔胃,是酒店慣常的做法,
最大的原因,也應該是不用浪費食物,
即使味道不對胃口,也不會有吃一口就丟下來的情況,
好處更是可以多吃幾款~蘋果茶最喜歡了~!!!
小小的抹茶紅豆蛋糕,想不到抹茶味道還不錯,
紅豆就是不多不少,中和了茶味,
心裡真想多吃一塊...
小杯Cream Brulee,焦糖味濃,
面頭脆脆的,吃了兩﹑三口,
原來吃下去還有黑芝麻香,驚喜之選,
芝麻味道和蛋的香甜實在太配啦,
一連吃了兩個。
朱古力mousse蛋糕,如外型看來一樣純樸,
簡單而味濃郁,朱古力的味道,其實很難不好吃。

整個午餐,主菜實是失色得很,
甜品中上但感覺上還是略帶不足,
讚的當然是環境裝潢,比很多五星酒店還要精緻細膩,
加上景觀已經一流享受,
可惜菜式的不足之處還是會令人卻步。

這天早上十一時起床,準備到中環吃 semi lunch buffet,可是肚子感到滿滿的,一定是昨夜的晚餐太豐富了。怎麼辦呢?

幸好經過半小時的車程和路程,飽滯的感覺略為減輕了。由 Hotel LKF 的大堂,先乘搭電梯到 29/F 的酒吧,再沿著樓梯登上30/F 的 Azure。

 
餐廳的環境比想像中更為優雅寬敞,加上從玻璃窗透進來的陽光,感覺舒適寫意。可以懶洋洋的坐在 sofa 上俯瞰中環的景色,心情突然變得輕鬆自在。

命名為 "Can't Skip Lunch Buffet" 的半自助午餐定價 $238,除了主菜和海鮮併盤,appetizer 和 dessert 都是任吃的。

APPETIZER

Appetizer的款式不少,包括 cold cut,salad,cheese platter等等,不但賣相精緻,味道也令人滿意。

 
Smoked salmon 是少不了的 item,其肉質結實,充滿煙燻香氣,是不俗的貨色。

Grilled vegetables 也不錯,有三色椒、茄子和 zucchini,清新爽甜又健康。

Caprese salad 乃是另一推介,鮮甜的蕃茄加上軟滑的 mozzarella 芝士,簡單卻美味,令人吃不停口。

Asian chicken salad 是我們一致讚好的沙律,蔬菜固然新鮮,令人驚喜的倒是醃得非常入味的青瓜粒,酸甜中帶微辣,十分清新醒胃,雖然我平日不太喜愛吃青瓜,這天卻吃了十多塊!雞肉看起來平平無奇,入口卻十分幼嫩,成為另一亮點。

這裡的 wardolf salad 跟平日吃到的略有不同,加了一塊塊的烚蛋,雞蛋不會烚得熟透,入口富有蛋香,是誠意之作。

 
當然,這裡也提供不同的沙律菜和多款醬汁、配料,讓食客發揮創意,自行配搭合心意的沙律。

 
吃了很多沙律,是時候喝點熱湯來暖一暖胃。平日的 buffet 大多提供冷冰冰的麵包,這裡卻擺放著一個小型烘爐,讓食客自行烘暖麵包配襯熱湯,感覺很窩心!話說回來,這天供應的是 cream of pumpkin soup,入口細膩幼滑,南瓜味卻比預期中輕淡。

 
這時,侍應送上誘人的 seafood platter --- 有蝦、蟹腳和生蠔,生蠔當然是最受歡迎的一項,但每人只有三隻,唯有跟自己說「少吃多滋味」吧!蟹腳看似瘦弱,怎料肉質細嫩,味道清甜,無奈每人只分得一隻。

不吃生冷食物,亦可挑選熟的海鮮併盤。最美味的非金黃色的 crab cake 莫屬,炸得外脆內軟又不油膩,蟹肉也相當鮮甜。蒜蓉焗蠔則中規中矩,可能因為一向鍾情於較多 topping 或醬汁的焗蠔。

 
飽的訊號突然響起,原來不知不覺間已吃了不少東西,將有限的胃納用盡了。結果,main course 只吃了數口便投降。。。

MAIN COURSE

主菜可六選一,有牛、魚、雞、意粉和risotto。

龍利魚柳煎得略帶金黃色且散發著牛油香氣,魚肉嫩滑鮮美,討人歡喜。

Oven Roasted, Truffle Pomme Puree, Green Asparagus

燒春雞醃得相當入味,我吃的是雞脾部份,因此肉質嫩滑(朋友們吃的雞胸部份卻稍為乾身);墊底的薯蓉亦加入了松露,絕不馬虎。

這是餐廳推介的主菜,無奈烤至 medium well,不太合我的口味 (我只吃 medium rare 的牛扒,medium已是極限)。

兩款意粉都屬於粗扁型,質感煙韌且充滿嚼勁,不過同樣用上 parmesan 芝士和蔬菜來作為配料,感覺很相似,若果其中一款可換成蕃茄汁,便可照顧到不喜歡芝士又愛吃 pasta 的人 (我身邊有不少這樣的朋友呢)。

這裡的risotto煮得比較軟腍,不過risotto的味道真的不錯,忌廉汁既 creamy 又充滿松露香,若果可以用這個 sauce 煮 pasta,想必滋味無窮!

 
DESSERT

也許我們花了太多時間拍照,又吃得慢,到我們想吃甜品的時候,不少款式已被掃清了。幸好還有 mango & caramel pudding,芒果粒意想不到的甜美,焦糖布丁更是香濃幼滑,雖然已飽得捧著肚子,也忍不住encore了一小碟!再配上一杯咖啡,完美!

 
原來四月三十日前到 openrice 網站下載優惠券,semi lunch buffet 二人同行價只不過是$338 + 10%,亦即是每人只需付 $190!以這個價錢,便可在中環居高臨下欣賞美景和美食,就算只吃 appetizer 和 seafood platter 已值回票價!

曾經在蘭桂坊附近工作了好幾年,蘭桂坊是我下班的必經之路,每逢星期五的下班晚上,總看到男男女女在交頭接耳、舉杯暢飲。晚上的蘭桂坊就是有她的魔力,令人不其然地為她醉生夢死。那個時候也來了蘭桂坊酒店好幾遍,但現在想來,原來今次才是第一次在大白天時登上這Hotel LKF。

在Hotel LKF的大堂,登上電梯到29樓到Azure,映入眼簾的,是甚有氣勢的酒吧。左手邊是大廳和桌球檯,然後右手邊是另一個酒吧。不期然閉上眼睛,幻想一下晚上的盛況,酒杯敲桌球,是寫意的下班生活。

酒吧之上是餐廳,但只能由29樓沿樓梯直上,並沒有電梯直上的。

晚上的Azure是個不夜天,白天的環境也一樣氣派,上層其實一樣有酒吧,喜歡喝酒,蘭桂坊一定能滿足你。

不說不知,Azure的semi lunch buffet,是一星期七天都有供應的,為了要保持新鮮感,主菜更每週更新,很有誠意。

 
Azure的自助餐部份,款式不算多,但勝在貴精不貴多,沙律、麵包、芝士、西湯、冷盤、甜品、水果,加上還有seafood platter、主菜和飲品,應有盡有,怪不得閒日也經常爆滿。

 
我不是沙律狂熱,對於自助餐,我一向少碰沙律。不過這一天我卻吃完再添食,原因是同行的沙律達人說這裡的沙律很不錯,尤以雞肉沙律為甚,試過果真不假,沙律菜新鮮,沙律醋酸中帶點辣,令人很開胃,很容易一試上癮。

 
吃過沙律,接下來當然是輪到冷盤了。Caprese Salad固然是必吃的,煙三文魚也是不能錯過,還有火腿等等。但還是要忍一忍,原來太多想吃的也未必是好事,因為還有seafood platter和主菜在等著我呢。

獨沽一味的南瓜忌廉湯,顏色鮮艷卻又很清徹,但味道沒想像中的濃郁,忌廉較南瓜多,南瓜味道都被蓋過了,如果可以提供多一款中湯選擇就更好了。

 
吃過「前菜」,終於來到海鮮時間了!Azure非常體貼,lunch buffet可選生的seafood platter或熟的seafood composition,吃生或吃熟的朋友也可以照顧到。

Seafood platter共有三款海鮮,分別是蟹腳、熟蝦、生蠔,生蠔每位三隻,新鮮爽口,蟹腳也飽滿鮮甜,這個seafood platter沒有將貨就價,令這頓自助餐回本難度大減!

 
Seafood composition同樣是蠔、蟹、蝦三位一體,不同的是都變熟了。蠔放了蒜蓉蒸熟,蒜蓉帶出蠔的鮮味,味道更香更鮮;蟹則變成了蟹餅,既香口也免卻剝殼的煩惱。

可能平常都是吃生的seafood platter較多,今天覺得這seafood composition很有新鮮感,而且味道更好,更得我歡心。

 
海鮮過後,自然是主菜時間。Pan Seared Sole Fillet甚為討好,魚柳輕輕煎香,嫩滑鮮美,也代表著簡單就是美。

 
另一款試了的主菜是Grilled Hanging Steak,牛扒燒得色澤紅潤,實在沒有拒絕的理由。但稍嫌欠了點牛味,如果可以再多點牛香應該更完美。

 
如果不吃牛,主菜也有雞可選,Roasted Spring Chicken是這一天中,調味較為重的,在我看來味道是十分對口味,而配菜也不容忽視,薯蓉加入了松露,既香且滑,唯一較為失望的是雞胸部份有點過老,不過雞脾位還是很不錯的。

 
這裡的pasta又如何呢?Fettuccini Alfredo算水準之作,闊條麵還算有嚼勁,簡單地和西蘭花、節瓜一起煮,最後灑上Parmesan Cheese,簡單美味,也是素食者也喜歡的簡單意粉。

Pappardelle Pasta則較為特別,除了雜菇,還加入了炒香合桃、小椰菜,當然少不了Parmesan Cheese,因為多了合桃,口感較特別,味道也較Fettuccini Alfredo濃,雖不錯,但個人還是喜歡Fettuccini Alfredo多一點。

 
最後當然是甜品時間了,除了蛋糕,還有水果,正好可幫助一下消化。

 
甜品在自助餐是重要的一環,也是我每次最期待的一刻。Azure的甜品款式不算多,而且每一款不會有很多,取光就要等refill了,所以如果嗜甜,最好就留意甜品位了。

 
甜品當中,推薦吃小件的多層朱古力蛋糕,它的餅底是朱古力脆脆,上面則是朱古力蛋糕和慕絲,朱古力味也香。另一款的朱古力合桃也很不錯,朱古力味香濃,也很好吃。

不夠甜?餐飲可選一杯凍朱古力!這樣就甜上加甜了吧!

雖然今天的semi lunch buffet食物水準未必每樣都完美,但考慮到lunch buffet價錢只是$238,現在在Openrice網站更有二人同行優惠券,價錢只是$338,平均每人不用$190,這個價錢在中環區真的很相宜。

晚上的蘭桂坊,多姿多采。白天的蘭桂坊,原來也同樣醉人,在假日的時候來到Hotel LKF頂樓空中漫舞,感受一下不一樣的蘭桂坊,是一個很寫意的週末呢。

Located in the heart of Central, was the renowned bar Azure at the top of LKF hotel. Many might know about the awesome bar but yet to know about Azure as a restuarant offering decent dishes. The second floor had a completely different look from late night, which white tables with candle lights were set up, creating an intimate and classy dining scene. The dining floor will get back to the lively dance floor at around 11ish. I guess Azure can pretty much ensure a great night out for anyone.

Every month Azure offers an fun and interesting themed menu, last month they offered a romantic Valentine's menu, while in march they are offering March of Spring which the dishes are designed to refresh your palate after all the heavy flavoured food in Winter. The March of Spring menu are offered until the end of march at a price of HKD$568 per person.

The Spring Menu also includes a glass of wine from either the Seleccion Tinto or Seleccion Blanco from Bodegas Borsao. You can upgrade the package to a 2 hours free flow of the two wines at HKD$98 extra per person. I like both of the wines, the red was full bodied, floral and sweet while the white was zesty and fruity. Besides the wine, I also had a glass of Mojito, which Azure's bar is famous for. The cocktail was minty, sweet but was not very strong.

 
Before we started our spring menu, we were introduced Azure's steak menu as well. Their city viewing terrace has a barbecue grillers and were said to offer amazing grill dishes. We ordered a rib eye to share for the table.

USDA Black Angus Rib Eye, 12oz $428
This marvellous steak had a lovely char aroma, which made us all drool when it was served on the table. It was done perfectly with a char crust and a juicy and tender inner. The steak was first sous vide to rare, then grilled to form the char crust and finished with a pinky center.

 
The steak came with two steaks sauces - blue cheese cream sauce and BBQ sauce. Beside the sauces, offered by the waiter was a plate of mustard and salt, including: regular sea salt, smoked sea salt, French and English mustard. I usually just have my steak with salt but the pungent blue cheese cream sauce was rich and recommended. For the sides, we had Garlic Mashed Potato and Mac & Cheese. The mashed potato was quite smooth but the garlic taste did not stand out.

 
Amuse Bouche
The amuse bouche of the Spring to March Menu was a refreshing cucumber roll. Alongside was the complimentary house bread basket. The breads were not great, but 3 flavoured butter were amazing - traditional, pesto and carrot, helped out alot!

 

 
1st Course - Crab Meat Pomelo Salad
The first course was crab with pomelo salad. The Maryland crab was sweet and was well alanaced by the mango balls and ceviche fluid gel.

 
2nd Course - Roasted Sweet Corn Soup
The second course was my favourite of the night, the roasted sweet corn soup. The soup was creamy, flavourful but light on the palete. I love the sweet corn bits and jalapeño relish in the soup which added some crunchiness into the soup. The oyster sitting at the center was sweet in taste too. Yummmmmmy!

 
3nd Course - Braised Lamb Shank
Main course was a braised lamb shank, complimented with baby spinach, Chantelle mushroom, mashed potato, cherry tomato and lamb jus. The lamb shank was tender and juicy but lack of the distinct taste of lamb that I love (or if you hate it, this is the dish for you!) The cherry tomato was insanely sweet and the mashed potato was buttery and chunky with good mouth feel!

 
4th Course - Vanilla Marquise with Apricot Sorbet
Now comes the dessert. The vanilla marquise was smooth and dense with mild vanilla taste. The apricot sorbet was at the right sourness and sweetness. The dessert was also very refreshing and is a perfect way to end the tasting of spring. The petit fours - chocolate puff, rose macaron and dark chocolate were also served right after. The rose macaron was quit nice.

 

 
Concluding the Spring Menu
The March of Spring was overall refreshing, each dish was meticulously prepared and nicely executed. The appetiser, soup and dessert fits in the spring menu really well, but in my opinion the lamb still tastes a bit strong on a light spring menu. The free flow package was a great deal for the two nice wine, so I highly recommend you to get the package to go with the spring menu. If you have time, you should definitely get a drink and spent some time at the rooftop terrace. It was really nice up there.

I would call Azure one of the most exciting places to have a drink in this city, if me and my friends don't come here so much already. Situated in Hotel LKF by Rhombus, Azure is a glitzy and elaborate space that spans the top two floors of the hotel and can accommodate up to 70 diners. Overlooking the magnificent city view, this restaurant and bar is a popular haunt for businessmen, party-goers and travellers and has been named ‘Visitors’ Choice Dining Awards 2013’ by CityLife Magazine, rated ‘10 out of 10’ for Food in 2010 by Asia Tatler’s Regional Best Restaurants Guide and ranked No. 7 in ‘The World’s 20 Best Sky Bars 2008’ by The Sunday Times.

I have been invited to try Azure's March Menu, a 4-course set dinner priced at $568 which includes one glass of Italian DO wine. You can opt for free flow wine for 2 hours at an additional $98, and there is 15% off the total bill if you hold an HSBC credit card. Azure is also currently doing a Semi-Buffet Lunch promotion, with an appetiser and dessert buffet, a seafood platter and a main course at HK$338 for 2 persons.

我平時都喜歡和朋友到Azure飲酒聊天,因為地方舒適,看出去的夜景極美,還有一個室外露台。最近被邀請去試一個$568的套餐,有四道菜及一杯意大利紅酒或白酒,發現原來Azure的食物也很有水準,菜式很精美,份量不太大但都夠飽 (有匯豐信用卡的話午餐和晚餐都有85折)。Azure現在還有午巿優惠,兩位吃半自助午餐只需$338。

 
(1) Azure is a refined establishment, with the assured staff gliding past the tables, offering help when needed. A bread basket made its way to our table, and the soft, warm bread was complemented by a piece of beautiful tricolour butter of garlic, sundried tomatoes and herbs. The amuse bouche was small cubes of salmon covered in herbs.

 
(2) Even though the 4-course menu includes a glass of red or white wine, I also ordered a glass of Marks Myers ($120), a signature cocktail invented by Azure's bartenders using Myers Dark rum, Midori, Creme de Fraise and Skyy vodka. The alcohol was definitely detectable, but the fresh taste of strawberries made it very easy to drink.

 
(3) Our appetiser was the Crab Meat Pomelo Salad. The Australian crabmeat was nicely chilled and startlingly fresh, and the mango balls and mixed greens added gorgeous summery flavours to the dish.

 
(4) The kitchen then sent out a Roasted Sweet Corn Soup with jalapeno relish and oyster, which was a real winner for me. The soup was thick and soothingly hot, and the sweetness of the roasted corn was sublime.

 
(5) There is a Terrace BBQ Grill section on the à la carte menu which is available year-round, and we ordered a Wagyu Beef Tenderloin (8oz, $688) to share. Imported from Wales, the medium-rare Wagyu beef was well grilled and had a gorgeous bite, and the meat in the middle was juicy and pink. Discerning diners would be happy to find that there were 2 types of salts to choose from: smoked sea salt or regular sea salt. For me, the Dijon mustard or béarnaise sauce did the trick.

 
Meats from the Terrace BBQ Grill section came with two sides. The fantastic punch of garlic in the garlic mash got my taste buds excited, and the grilled Italian veggies had a beautiful natural taste.

 
(6) Having conquered the piece of steak between the two of us, I was a bit full for my own main course, but it worked out well because the Braised Lamb Shank was rather petite. Delicate strands of lamb shank sat atop a bed of chanterelle mushroom mash potato. On the side was an assembly of wilted baby spinach and butter glazed cherry tomatoes, brimming with freshly conceived flavours.

 
(7) The last course was the Vanilla Marquise with Apricot Sorbet. The apricot sorbet added a fruity note, and together with the vanilla cream and marinated apricot, they formed a medley of well balanced flavours.

 
(8) Somehow there was still room in my stomach for the restaurant's petit fours! The macaron, in a vanilla flavour, was a bit too hard, but apparently their signature rose macaron is delicious.

 
(9) Having stuffed myself with so much food, I finished off with a cup of Mövenpick coffee, which was quite aromatic.

 
If you want more privacy, a secluded VIP table can be reserved, and the minimum charge may be waived during the week if the restaurant is not too busy.

 
Even though the portions were not gigantic, the dishes at Azure have been prepared with care and precision. Embraced by the glistening night view, dining at Azure was an opulent experience.

放左工,找個地方happy hour下,這間bar,勝在唔洗同人逼。

餐廳樓高2層,下面係酒吧,上面係餐廳,唔知係唔係太早嘅關係,上到去得我地一台。我點左dirty chocolate , 之後侍應就上埋小食俾我地。小食有吞拿魚3文治,蚱蝦,好的骰,炸物略帶硬;飲品終於出場,好有朱古力味,酒味唔濃,好適合女仔飲。因為之前睇open rice話snack係free,諗住叫多round,但waitress 話每杯飲品只有一個snack ....不過佢都好好人,送多round俾我地。

之後緊係上樓上欣賞下個夜景啦,露天位唔大,得2張sofa ,但就好好feel !!!

跟好友相聚,選了位於LKF酒店30/F頂層的Azure歎半自助午餐 ($238/Head)。
12時至2時半的半自助午餐,我們1時45分才到達。
與服務員商議後,雖然2:30 開始收拾食物枱,但我們可用膳至3時,再可轉到29/F繼續坐。

樓底很高,被安排坐近窗邊可包攬中環及維港景色,真的十分寫意。

唔知點解點了這個Main Course。 for vegetarian的。烘好的麵包上放了黃瓜、青爪、翠玉爪。好dry~
反而欣賞薯條,放了一陣才食,依然熱辣辣,又夠厚身。正~

因接近食物枱收拾的時間,食物枱食物已沒有Refill。
這位服務員不只一次主動詢問要幫我們額外預備任何食物。十分細心!!

見大部分食客都離開,把飲品及一早攞定的甜品搬到29/F,慢慢食及傾計。
甜品細細件,可以有空間試晒所有甜品。特別欣賞choco cake。好香朱古力味

 
餐飲以為只有Coffee or Tea,試下叫 Ice Chocolate,都有及不用加錢。

走到蘭桂芳,若不是為了喜愛夜蒲,便是跟朋友到來HH一番,而在隆堡蘭桂芳酒店頂層的Azure,是甚得我歡心的地點,空中酒吧格局,沒有蘭桂坊街上的局促,看著浮華繁燈,來跟一杯雞尾酒或烈酒,是一份奢侈的休閒。當然,喝酒不能空著肚子,其實在這裡也有不少美食。

 
以往來到這裡,總是在29/F看著桌球檯跟朋友喝酒,尤其愛喝這裡的Mark Myers,草莓香氣獨特,是我難得會喝一次就記得名字的雞尾酒。不過這次到來是走到樓上的用餐區,品嚐燒烤美食。

 
30/F的樓底很高,從玻璃窗中遠眺華麗夜景,是在蘭桂芳難得可以見到的。裝修格調有高檔路線,柔和的燈光襯托著皮椅子,平和舒適,而餐桌之間空位寬闊,就算談話聲浪大一點也沒問題。

說回這裡的燒烤菜單,一款肉類包兩款配菜,價錢約四百至七百幾不等,全由空中花園的廚師即席以炭燒製作,不要以為價錢不親民,其實相比份量及食材質素是很合理。

 

 

 
在等待廚師烤肉時,先喝這裡的名物Mojito Supreme($120),還有不可錯過的麵包籃。以前吃過同系的Glo,麵包是自家製作,鬆軟好吃,而牛油也花了點心思,三種不同口味一起蘸上麵包,當中以蕃茄味最討人喜愛的。

 

 
先吃最高貴的和牛里脊肉(10oz,$565),內裡烤成嫩粉紅,入口肉身柔嫩,邊位帶點焦香,好吃得連女士們也讚不絕口,想多吃一件。

 
我較愛肉味濃一點的牛排,所以USDA黑安格斯肉眼會(12oz,$428)更合我心水,這份肉眼扒油花頗多,肉汁保留得很好。吃牛不需要蘸上其他醬汁,簡單地灑上海鹽就可以,大家可以問侍應來一些夏威夷海鹽提味,是錯不了的吃法。當然,Azure也提有幾款醬料除傳統的燒烤醬,紅酒汁及黑椒汁可供選擇,其中以藍芝士醬是較為突出,但這重口味的醬料,還是跟羊肉伴吃最好...

 
澳洲羊架(7oz, $465)正好是那藍芝士的好伴侶,尤如中國人吃羊腩煲蘸點腐乳一樣異曲同工。這裡的羊架,據知廚師在準備食材時,預先以慢煮方法把肉汁封鎖,到最後才炭燒,聽來似乎頗花功夫。四骨連肉,脂肪在烤香後已溶化,羊羶味不太強烈,對愛重口味的朋友,或會覺得羊味未夠,但勝在肉身夠嫩,味道討好,連不愛羊的朋友也樂意試一點。

 

 
配菜的種類十選二也夠豐富,有焗薯,磨菰,蕃薯條,忌廉菠菜等等,個人特別喜愛灑上鹽粒的蕃薯及露筍條,配白酒或Mojito不錯。

 
晚飯後甜品少不了,這裡有一款較特別的土耳其甜點Turkish Delight($98)。如果大家有到過土耳其或杜拜旅遊,應該會對這種傳統軟糖不陌生,那驚人的甜道及不黏牙的感覺,Azure的Turkish Delight依然保留。不同的是這個沒有灑上椰絲,換上玫瑰水果凍,草莓雪葩及朱古力。或許,甜魔會接受那驚艷的甜香,但對我來說淺嚐已足夠。

這夜過後,才知道Azure不只是HH的地方,踏過白色階梯,是另一片酒肉天堂,怪不得這餐廳得到那麼多專業殊榮。有機會的話,要回來試A la Carte內的燒乳豬,再簡簡單單來一口Pinot Noir,應該會很爽吧?
