很難得可以於平日有充足時間去品嘗lunch buffet。這個buffet,我想吃很耐,原因是為了在台灣一吃難忘的加菲蟹。那次在基隆第一次見到這種海鮮,覺得其樣貌奇怪,但一吃鮮甜無比,對於是蟹痴的我,簡直如發現新大陸一樣,既開心又難忘!但基於種種原因,例如:無位,始終未曾品嘗此自助餐。今次借生日週之名,終於可以任吃加菲蟹,簡直未出發先興奮! 260蚊的一個自助午餐,老實說,並不相宜,於是我們去之前亦做了資料搜集,12時即到餐廳,務求令自己有物超所值的感覺。以下吃後報告: 加菲蟹:沒有想到,它是一整隻一整隻的出現,當然職員是將蟹分解後再會併好,舖上蟹穀。很漂亮!職員每次只放數隻,但補給得很快,絕對新鮮且衛生,又不怕取不到。加菲蟹蟹身肉多,味算鮮甜。但由於我在基隆吃的當地更鮮甜的,老實講有些失望。但在此餐廳任吃,質素已很不錯。絕對是回本之作,可以的話,想吃2-3隻!想想1隻在海鮮店賣幾多錢,你便覺得好抵! 翡翠螺﹕體積比平常見到的大,取出大大的螺肉,一試…相對平時吃的又大又多汁,感覺更新鮮,我點了海鮮醬吃,味也很夾 琵琶蝦:開邊再用了醬汁去炒,很好味,肉身輕易取出,短時間已可吃幾件 花膠:味道品質尚可,但較多因為其養顏功效所以吃多幾件 石斑:切件蒸,肉質鮮美,不錯! 各款精緻甜品:賣相漂亮又好食,樣樣同朋友試下最好,個人較欣賞"酒醉蘋果custard",因其他自助餐較少供應 冬陰功:同有水準嘅泰國餐廳有得揮,十分推介! Salami & Cheese: 好味又唔會太飽 自製甜品:即製pancake+朱古力雪糕+士多啤梨&芒果粒+nuts +熱情果醬,簡直好味過Haz記食品呀! 魚生:墨魚還不錯,三文魚不肥美亦不夠鮮,象拔蚌有腥味…沒有想過會這麼差 生果:只切件西瓜,火龍果和波蘿等三種生果,可以不吃 酒店餐廳環境不錯,可能由於常滿關係,檯與檯之間的距離頗近。這次見到很多長輩客人用餐,而且食量驚人。 服務方面,收碟很快,笑容還是較一般 拆、吃蟹需時,我們吃足2個半小時才算剛剛夠時間吃大部份的食品一次,所以,建議早點來。 今次和你吃這個buffet很開懷,不需要兼顧儀態,不需要隱藏實力,邊拆蟹邊大笑,很開心!多謝你! 推介美食: 加菲蟹,花膠,海鮮

2010-07-07Fantastic buffet overall, with the service, atmosphere and cleanliness being especially wonderful. In fact, I only have two main criticisms of this buffet. First, the buffet quality is great overall but I would appreciate even more variety. Secondly, the price on weekends/public holidays [dinner buffet] is rather too expensive. Apart from that, I certainly enjoyed the buffet (and admired its efficient use of space for the food, not for the customers!). Overall: 8.5 out of 10 (mainly because of the price)

坦白說, HK$260一個自助午餐不是便宜, 你會帶著期望去, 但總算沒有失望. 慶祝表姐產後第一個生日, 選了Marriot的自助午餐. Café出面有殘疾人士廁所, 另Pacific Place有nursery room方便佢湊B. 餐廳留了一個近buffet枱的位置, 還預備了小朋友食具, 但表姨甥太小了, 用不著呢! 12時到達已有不少人「開戰」。由於開餐時間只有2小時多, 加上1時左右大量附近商務客擁至 (高院, 領事館, 證券公司就在附近), 雖然食品源源不絶提供, 要吃得多而準也非易事, 以下是點點小女子的個人心得, 歡迎參考。 必食之選 加菲蟹鉗 每枱提供拆蟹用具, 你可慢慢拆蟹肉, 有八款醬汁任擇. (加菲蟹蓋不要吃, 很腥) 細東風螺 爽脆鮮美 (大螺可以不吃, 相對不美味) 牛仔肉 由廚司一片片的切給你, 配以3款醬汁任擇十分美味, 若不是我肚皮無位真的想多吃一片 魚生: 以三文魚及墨魚最出色, 吞拿魚、劍魚及貝類一般 雞肉串燒 即叫即煮, 惹味好吃 印度加哩牛腩及印度飯 辣得嚟很有異國風味, 好吃 肉骨茶 在香港很難找好味的肉骨茶, 這裏算是不錯, 藥材味與肉味balance很好 甜品 大部份都很好吃, 不太甜, 清爽之選有香茅果涷, 酒醉蘋果custard. Dark chocolate pudding都很好吃. 即製海鮮湯麵, 即製pancake green salad 一般味道, 若肚皮有位可吃 花蟹及青口 烤羊架 芝士及salami platter Tiramisu, new york chesse cake, egg white souffle 不吃也罷 加菲蟹蓋 拍照不俗, 但入口很腥, 膽固醇也高. 雪糕 很甜且沒有奶味 現場還有韓國及泰國風味食品, 由於個人喜好及肚皮所限, 當天沒有品嚐 總括而言, 水準不俗, 下次會再來! 推介美食: 加菲蟹鉗,牛仔肉,印度加哩

2010-06-23(屬於相關食評)Celebrate my girl friend L for her bday~ We ate so much and she has to throw up in the toilet... many people will think she might be "wasting the food" but seriously she felt really sck the next few days... is not funny but i cannot stop laughing... hahaha... I am a fan of this place... even joined the membership~ ^O^ B and I had tried the tea buffet in the lounge which is free when join the membership... but we didn't like it there... so I had to try really hard to convince B that the Tea Buffet at cafe is different... haha~ finally he gave in... wakaka~~~ The atmosphere is cramped and a lot of noise... but that didn't affect my appetite~ Lots of variety and I don't normally try the congee... but after i tried this time and fell in love... hee hee~~~ i put lots of scallop, sweet corn and rotten duck egg in there... yummy~~~ sushi is normal, hot dish is good specially they have the "fish stomach" (Fa Gau) 花膠... 推介美食: 花膠

12点到達,只出加菲蟹腳,非常失望,再問今天無加菲蟹嗎?答案是今天無加菲蟹 之前5月份食過覺得OK,所以提意一家人黎食過,点知係咁 瑟琶蝦, 蒸魚,一般, 瀨尿蝦>無 三文魚,象拔蚌: 唔夠新鮮, 唔夠爽,黑黑地 食咗個幾鐘後突然出加菲蟹,有無咁老討呀,衣加先出乜都飽哂啦! 坦白說 HK$260一個自助午餐不是便宜, 仲要一行七人,可以有好多選擇,之前5月份食過覺得OK所以會帶著期望去,結果非常失望!

今年我生日, 男友帶咗我嚟呢度食BUFFET, 因為我想橫掃晒香港5星級酒店既BUFFET, 試試水準如何, 結果呢間真係令人非常失望 可能因為最近生蠔事件喇, 已經停止咗生蠔供應, 男友係朝住生蠔出名而嚟, 但點知換來係掃興, 呢樣都不特止, 仲要超少款式供應, 我哋只係食咗個半鐘左右都已經離開, 同價錢相若既都會海逸比簡直無得比, 一定無下次 <食物> 較OK既有 : 芝士龍蝦, 燒牛肉, 清蒸鮑魚, 加菲蟹瞉, 油甘魚刺身, 花膠 同少量甜品 唔OK既有 : 和牛, 凍龍蝦, 瑟琶蝦, 蒸魚, 蒸貴花蚌 其他無試既有 : 燒味, 湯麵, 湯, 麵包, 沙律同雪糕 後記: 呢間係我最近食既5星酒店最差既一間, 無論服務同食物質素都未逹標, 難怪好多朋友之後都同我講好麻麻啦 2人共消費 : $840 (白金咭折後)

自己o既生日,其實就係媽媽o既受難日,所以一返到香港,即時帶父母去萬豪食buffet,因為本宮唔係好有錢,所以就請父母去食lunch buffet... 加菲蟹︰本宮覺得,蟹拑好好食,好有鮮味同甜味,但係頭就唔好食喇... 魚生︰唔知係唔係冰島山火,三文魚冇,只有象but蚌、油甘魚、章紅魚... 切得唔係好好,切到d象but蚌好un... 瀨尿蝦同牛肉︰瀨尿蝦好好味,炒得好香,睇到爸爸勁食,終於明白爸爸始終都係鍾意食中國o野... 爸爸因為過o左60歲之後,就冇再食牛扒,但媽媽就好鍾意食,見佢食o左2塊,就知道,繼帝苑之後,媽媽亦好愛吃萬豪牛扒。 甜品︰好吃,件件都好好味,可惜太甜,2位老人家唔太愛吃,爸爸話萬豪o既生果好唔得,一d都唔新鮮,好淋... 餐飲叫o左杯咖啡,d奶都冇整熱到... 咖啡唔好飲,不過,可能菲律賓d咖啡太難飲,所以,成杯飲晒~ 雖然爸媽 (尤其媽媽) 已經好捨得食,但都唔係去過萬豪好多次,5只手指都數晒。上次o黎萬豪,已經係10年前,當時1位300-400蚊... 好貴... 果時係本宮o既生日,父母帶本宮o黎食dinner buffet,而家爸媽已經好少去淘島... 更加唔好講話食萬豪... 承諾,我搵到份好工,請一家人食 (本宮一家十口ga!),爸媽笑了~ 但願本宮可盡快兌現承諾... 唔好吹水~ http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/ultrabearhk/article?mid=573 推介美食: 加菲蟹,海鮮

2010-05-06失望 去萬豪當然是為了源源不絕的海鮮,但七點半未到 , 龍蝦已沽清,以前兩次黎食都是臨走都仲有一盤盤滿瀉的海鮮,今次好失望 仲有因為有和牛供應,所以貴$50,以為好正, 原來只是好低級別澳洲和牛,好諧 , 無味. 刺身有象拔蚌 , 但好腥 , 其他一般. 因為上次有人食到入醫院,所以沒有生蠔. 人多就預左,不過真是好容易有碰撞,個場真是太細. 中銀白金8折 推介美食: 加菲蟹

2010-04-16It's been 6 months since we came to this buffet. The Marriott is one of the hotels nearest our office and among the Pacific Place hotels, we think the Cafe has the best buffet to offer at lunch time. A colleague told me that recently there was a food poisoning outbreak after some diners ate here, maybe that's why there are no longer raw oysters and in place a few new dishes of hot seafood. Dishes deserving mentions include: Mild Curry Lobster. The claws were big and the curry sauce mild and creamy. The flesh were firm and sweet and I had 3 big ones. I saw another diner with a really huge one. I had some rice with the thick and wonderful sauce Slipper lobster braised in sauce was an uncommon dish at an international buffet. The flesh is half way between a prawn's and a lobster's. Though it was interesting, it's was not worth eating too many pieces to save space for other dishes Mantis prawn was also on offer. This was fried in spicy salt. Although this type of prawn is really popular in HK, I am not good at getting the flesh out and so only had one. The restaurant is very considerate and has a set of scissors and cracker on each table to help with claws and shells. The Tom Yam soup was very spicy, hot and delicious. I managed not to scoop the oil on the top and had 2 bowls as it was so authentic. So those were dishes to go for and for some dishes worth forgetting: The roast beef is always not the best quality. Everyone who tries will comment that it is not spectacular and is very raw. The cheese selection is sad. Only a Brie looking round and a piece of orange looking cheddar. This upset my cheese loving colleagues as the effort was poor and led to a discussion of what a good selection should be. This time, I was so filled up with seafood, I hardly had any dessert or vegetables. The ice cream selection is from Hagen Daas and the mini apple crumble was good enough. They have new coffee mugs which are tall and thin, very elegant and nice to keep the drinks hot. At $260 + 10% for such a good selection of food, it is one of the best lunches I can find in our area. 推介美食: curry lobster, tom yam soup, papadams

2010-02-1411/2(四) 12nn 公司的團年飯,選址於闊別經年的Marriott Cafe.酒店為我們42人預留了較僻靜的一角,方便同事們放聲交談. 比起晚市buffet,午市看頭似乎更勝從前! 沙律:6-8款沙律,各款沙律均蠻新鮮味佳! 海鮮:法國生蠔,琵琶蝦,加菲蟹,花蟹, 凍蝦,花螺,青口;除生蠔水準參差外,大多鮮度高,以琵琶蝦及加菲蟹尤甚! 刺身--象拔蚌,三文魚,魷魚及吞拿魚等新鮮肥美! 熱葷:蒸班片,炆花膠,炸蟹棗,燒春雞,什菌意大利燴飯,燒牛肉,咖哩,燒味及車仔麵檔等,款色繁多,未全一一品嘗. 甜品:置中的甜品桌教人眼花撩亂'推介haagen daz雪糕,綠茶慕絲,蘋果肉桂金寶,杏仁餅,紅莓芝士餅等,味道合意. 服務生亦招呼周到,收碟及加水的速度皆達標. 簡單說,大抵沒大瑕疵的一頓午餐 原價$260一位,持匯豐白金卡可享75折優惠.吃得開懷的團年午飯!

2010-02-12公司今年揀左呢間酒店食蒲飛團年, 點知失望而回. 以下是我&同事比呢間酒店蒲飛o既食評: 彈 三文魚: 唔夠新鮮, 唔夠爽 北寄貝: 夠爽, 但冇咩味 冷面: 唔爽, 基本上是林o既 綠茶蛋糕慕士: 有d苦, 可能是加得太多綠茶粉 加菲蟹: 出得唔夠多, 食一轉就冇啦 壽司: D飯散收收. 未夾就散 讚 蠔: 雖然細細隻, 但好好味. 唔似得其他酒店o既蠔, 有潺同一咬就有D海水爆出黎 煙三文魚: OK 蒸石斑: 好好食 燒肉: 夠脆, 但輕微咸左少少 龍蝦: 好味 豬腱湯: 藥材味膿, 足料 仲有野要讚o既係: 職員補食物補得好快, 個兜唔會冇哂野食 總括黎講 款式唔多, 食物味道又唔係好突出, 如果唔係有信用卡優惠, 就唔建議揀呢間黎食蒲飛啦~
