在快要見到好友以前, 就是肚子有點餓, 趕緊先在見面以前, 在港鐵站的Pret A Manger買一個甜的吃, 其實Pret A Manager的乳酪款式不少, 以前就喜歡藍莓乳酪, 這次剛好看到有一個好像不錯的, 不太確定名字, 大概是巧克力蛋糕x燕麥吧, 巧克力蛋糕就是一小顆一小顆的, 跟燕麥的配搭很和諧, 而且乳酪也是跟以前的一樣, 帶微酸, 濃度很剛好, 雖然不是太便宜, 而且+$1就有比較大杯的其實選擇, 但這個其實也好吃。消費: $22

幸運收到openrice寄來的電影券，今天下班後來到金鐘看電影，由於時間不多，決定挑一點東西進戲院吃；金鐘地鐵站的選擇不多，最後選了這個看來比較好吃的店

在金鐘地鐵站一隅，佔地不少，但商品選擇不多，只有三數款東西令我頗有微言的是三文治9成9的都只有半份，全份的只有一種口味！拜託！半份夠誰吃喔！

全日早餐三文治($24 半份)用料有生菜、蕃茄、火腿及煙肉，三文治包是麥包伴以沙律醬；三文治的蔬菜新鮮爽嫩；火腿柔軟、煙肉咸香美味，沙律醬味道滋味幼滑！選用了麥包，卻不至粗鞋乾硬，口感還是相當柔軟，整體味道配合得很好吃！

另外還加了$5買了包薯片，選了sour cream口味，真的超sour！酸到有點"拿"口… = = 薯片是硬脆質感，超級硬，硬到我覺得會摑損口…

比利時朱古力鬆餅($16)另外也選了一件muffin，拿到手時還是微暖的，但吃了一口就感到失望了，因為並不是預期中的muffin濕潤柔軟口感，而是乾乾的，感覺好像放了很久，水份都乾了的feel…味道則還好，朱古力味不算香濃，比較欣賞的是這個muffin甜度適中，不會死甜

每次只要經過Pret A Manger都會入去吃個乳酪, 就算吃飽了經過都會買一個回家享用
這裡的乳酪不似普遍的雪糕形成, 也不似超市買到的一般稀溜溜
就是喜愛這店的乳酪濃杰得來沒帶糖份, 配合果醬穀物來吃口感極為豐富
首推是藍莓配燕麥片, 而蜜糖香蕉如果不愛甜的可能會有點接受不來
對我來說, 每一種口味都是健康的好味道呢

最近天氣又晴又雨，前天還是打十號風球，今天已是陽光普照，不小心之下是有點感冒的象徵。

這天工作忙的團團轉，沒有時間坐下來吃午飯，唯有又是買外賣啦。特別到「Pret A Manger」買了支「Flu Fighter」，有橙汁，檸檬汁及薑汁，充滿維他命C，不知能否抵抗小弟的感冒菌呢？另外試了個「煙三文魚軟法包」，賣＄10，是此店少有的便宜貨， 味道還不錯吃。

周圍都是 Starbucks / Pacific Coffee，但我最愛的卻是「Pret A Manger」。Pret A Manger 分店多開設於港島區，主打應該是外藉人士跟 OL 的 market。咖啡款式不多，沒有分大中小，不會有忌廉，簡單純粹。因為受不了咖啡的苦，帶古古力的 Iced mocha 是我最常飲用的。這裡的 mocha 非常香滑，帶著炭燒咖啡的香，又有微量古古力的甜。最貼心的是冰塊，一小顆一小顆，讓飲筒可以穿越其中。如果不愛太冷凍，可用飲筒把冰塊串起來就成了，這也是我打發時間的小動作 Norwegian Smoked Salmon Double，下單後店員會幫忙翻熱。看似簡單的三文治，但製作過程很認真呢。麥包都是用香蒜烤過的，除了新鮮的煙三文魚塊外，還有香草和半溶的芝士。餡料滿滿，讓你每一口都是滿足。

環境舒適，外藉店員服務很好，午飯時段人手也足夠。除了三文治外，沙律和甜品也做得出色

Emmental and Ham Baguette $18You can’t really go wrong with a ham and cheese sandwich, especially at Pret. The baguette was fresh, as were the veg inside. There was plenty of ham and cheese, both of which tasted good, but I think I’d personally prefer brie or cheddar.

Chicken Tikka Masala hot wrap $36A lot of basmati rice, and corianda, but not enough chicken, and definitely not enough marinade. It didn’t really have the unique Indian flavour and was quite dry as well.

Lemon pound cake $16Though the whole thing was perhaps a bit too sweet, and would probably improve with a tangier lemon taste, I still liked the crunchy sugar around the edges. The cake was dense, which is what I like about pound cakes, and was very filling.

There's no reason for NOT buying from pret whenever i pass by - i hereby confess that I am a die-hearted fan of pret a manger! anyways, when i walked pass the shop in Admiralty station with a drumming tummy, i could not pull myself from the sandwich shelf. I looked, and found the pre-packed sandwiches not attractive. And they have already put the lovely brie and cranberry off the shelf - what a disappointment. But then i found something new - I am addicted to anything with cheese, especially brie cheese. And there i saw the tomato and brie baguette in half portion. Just what i wanted, i thought , and i pulled that off the shelf together with a fruit salad.The baguette had became lukewarm when i hit school - not a big problem tho. The baguette was a little too tough and chewy to me, but its a baguette afterall and its supposed to be like that. The tomato slices were quite disappointingly thin and not very fleshy. However the brie slices were thick cuts, rich in taste and creamy in texture. It went extremely well with the Basil leave which carried a light, herby aroma.

It was an enjoyable lunch, albeit being expensive. But well oh well - i'd rather pay a large sum for a small but perfectly done bun and stay hungry all day long than paying 20 bucks or so for a plate of crap which keeps you bloated but not satisfied for hours or so.

yay its pret again! although i paid a visit to the concept pret on monday, i could not help pushing myself away from the little pret in the admiralty mtr station. ended up grabbing two sandwiches for lunch, i hurried home for a quick and nutritious, lunch.
the first thing i had was the smoked salmon brunch - there was cucumber slices, hard-boiled egg and smoked salmon in the wholewheat bun. the bun was quite tender and had a nice texture and aroma of wheat. it was the prefect match for the smoked salmon slices, which were fat and sweeeet. the cucumber slices were fresh and crispy and, although there were no dressing in the bun, the wholewheat brunch sandwich was NOT dry at all! excellent!

the next thing i grabbed was the brie and cranberry sandwich, a christmas special. I am a fan for cheese, brie in particular, so this sandwich filling is just right for me. Relatively speaking, the wholewheat bread was a bit drier than the wholewheat roll, but the cranberry sauce was of the just-right sweetness. The spinach leaves and the pine nuts were fresh and crispy, but the brie cheese, although having a nice dairy smell and taste, was a little too tough. i thought brie cheese is supposed to be less 'solid' but more like half-melted..? anyways, it was a GOOOOOD lunch, and cheese lovers have to try it

all in all, another satisfying lunch from pret this is. and it has never let me down - and i am soooo looking forward to the opening of a pret store closer to my home (so that i dont have to go all the way to sheung wan or admiralty for a pret! )

一啖食落去得個怪怪既LEMON味但就無芝士味.......
