Came here for dimsums with a group of 7 of us - it;s always better to have a group as you can order more items.
The setting is nice and clean and would be suitable for both gatherings or possibly business lunches.
I heard about the pastry-ish cha sui buns (bbq pork buns) and was eager to try. The taste is fairly rare in HK, as usually these are in a normal floury bun. But i don't generally eat those as i get a stomach ache and they dont taste very nice.

The pricing is as much as a hotel restaurant pricing, but service 比茶餐廳服務更差. The waitress' attitute was really poor. Not surpisely that the waitress offered poor service as the manager also provided very poor service with unfriendly attitudes. They kept telling us in an unfriendly tone that we ordered too less and we would need to wait for a long time if we placed the 2nd order.
1. 煎籮蔔糕 - 冇料,又淋peg peg
2. 排骨陳村粉 - 特點price, but only a few small piece of rib, not worth at all and taste nothing special
3. 綿花雞 - 唔知點解綿花雞會用一個湯碗serve and it was served with soup, bad.
4. 叉燒餐包 - good
5. 酥皮蛋撻 - ok but the size is like a mouth bite size, super small.
6. 牛肉 - nothing special
7. Shrimp 腸粉 and cha siu 腸粉 - good, very thin rice noodle
8. XO醬干炒雞絲河 - taste is ok but 雞絲太少 and hardly tasted the XO醬. $108 too pricely with the ingredient and taste.
Overall, the dim sum is really NO GOOD especially they are all pricely. Also, they only have limited choices of dim sum, we almost ordered everything on the dim sum sheet. Second, poor service, extremely poor. I won't complain about poor service if I am paying fast food restaurant price.
Conclusion: will not revisit and won't recommend. Somehow i was told that the restaurant was no longer owned by TVB actress' family. It was sold to another owner, that may be the reason why the food is so BAD!!!!!

今日老細請食飯,一行人來到車婉婉媽媽開的車氏吃午飯。場內座位不多,12時多來到已經坐無虛席,幸好預先訂了位。
點了十多款點心、炒飯、牛尾煎米餅/粉、大蝦煎米餅、薑蔥蠔、砵酒蠔、東坡肉等等。
酥皮叉燒餐包:十分好味,外皮很香脆鬆化,而且很香牛油味,內裡很足料,食落熱辣辣,好食過添好運好多。不過細個左少少。
流沙包: 一啖咬落去...好熱! 入面d汁真的很流沙,而且不只有奶黃的甜,還有蛋黃香。
春卷:有別於一般春卷,入面是芽菜,我不太喜歡,不過食落又熱又脆很正。
家鄉煎薄餐: 嘩!一上桌就很矚目,因為真的比著通茶樓的薄好多,而且好脆,好似食緊薯片咁。
香煎蘿蔔糕:又係好香脆,沒有散開的感覺,食入口很有咬口。
1000層馬拉糕:幾特別,入口可分開一層層,好鬆軟,唔太甜。
沙薑雞腳同蝦餃我覺得不算突出,雞腳有d細隻,蝦餃則太細隻...有d怪味...而且皮唔夠薄。
特別一提是我們點了中式煮蠔,一客是砵酒煮,一客是薑蔥煮,我吃了薑蔥的一款,很香! 隻蠔好大隻...有半個碗咁大...入面仲好滑,外面則煮香了、有點煙煙韌韌好得意。不過咁大隻蠔...我想生食多d。
煎米粉好香,十分脆口,出面有d酒樓整到會痴牙,佢好乾爽,而且唔油。隻蝦好大隻!!!都幾抵食。
個東坡肉都唔錯,細細件好易入口,食一舊仔唔會肥膩。
p.s. 由於好多上司係到...唔好意思影相...所以只有呢兩張...影得唔係太好..><敬請原諒

由於二哥啱啱係大陸返嚟 所以就同媽咪同大哥去飲茶嚟個family gathering 最衰爹啲去左公幹未返
二哥話佢係大陸無啖好食所以今日俾佢話事 佢話之前同啲friend嚟過車氏食覺得幾好所以就帶我地嚟食 佢book左12:45但去到仲要等勁耐 媽咪話佢見到佢俾晒啲抬熟客!

Yeh well the title says it all. I used to eat here once in awhile but that was a few years back. I hadn't been back for about 2years - boy what a difference two years make.
We ordered the salted chicken. They said you needed to pre-order. Ok fine, fair enough.
We ended up ordering a soup, ginger stir fried kale 薑汁炒芥蘭, fried egg with shrimps蝦仁炒蛋 and fried pork cakes 煎肉餅, thought it would be difficult to go wrong, but was I wrong or what!
fried pork cakes : so so. I would prefer to have it less mushy.
Fried eggs with shrimps : the shrimps were bigger than the ones we normally expected, but when I had a bit , the shrimps were rubbery and tasteless, I understand everything was from the freezer these days, but these shrimps were just horrible.
We ended up leaving most of the shrimps and only ate the eggs.
Fried kale with ginger : I think almost everyone in Hong Kong must have tried this dish before. Very common veg dish! When the dish came, I asked the waiter whether they have made a mistake on the order , because the kale looked blanched and not fried, but the waiter said to us "this is the way we fry our kale, we blanch it first , if you want your kale to be fried it without blanching then you have to put in a request with the chef." Good grief like they said in the menu that we had to specify. What is this place Gordon Ramsey's micheline restaurant. It's stir fried kale!!!!
We spent $800 on the food for three, Che's is quite a pricey place we understand, but the worst thing is that my husband said the best we had that night was the meat in the soup!
Bland food at best and waiters with attitude, needless to say, we were very disappointed, and will definitely not spend another dime here.

已經有一段長時間沒有與同事飲茶, 因為中秋節臨近, 我們決定到一致認為食物水準高的車氏飲茶
以下是我的必點推介
1. 叉燒餐包 - 外脆內熱的餐飽, 個人認為是全港做得最好的餐飽
2. 魚頭湯米線 - 魚湯味濃, 除了魚骨不可吃外, 湯和米線通通吃光
3. 流沙飽 - 入面的奶皇真的會流出來, 不是一般酒樓凝固了的奶皇
4. 椒鹽沙尖魚 - 都是炸得脆卜卜, 卻不油膩, 香口得很
5. 春卷 - 它與別不同的用料是有芽菜的, 非一般酒樓能嘗到
6. 薄餐 - 很薄很脆, 咸啖適中, $40一個頂點, 一口要$10
7. 沙薑雞腳 - 汁做得好, 雞腳很軟很入味, 下次再吃鮑汁的

香港其中一種特色美食聚會當然係週末全家去飲茶啦。歐美朋友我會介紹他去中環美心,克林頓都去喎!國內朋友去國金軒啦,豪o麻!再o吾係去龍皇、港島廳踫下明星!大陸朋友鍾意見明星多過食好野。我自己就反而鍾情去車氏,坐得麻麻地但係點心好食!
吃過車氏全部點心了,今次介紹其中幾款:
1.炸芋角:一D都吾油,芋頭夠粉夠香,鬆化!
2.排骨陳村粉:車氏的代表作,選了的排骨仔細細粒,每粒有骨有肉,肉又彈牙重肉味,陳村粉滑而韌,吸左豉汁排骨的味道,好味!唯一挑剔係粉太油!
3.椒鹽排骨仔:排骨仔選材好,點煮都已經好,加上車氏炸功一流,做得好乾身冇油淰淰,脆又惹味,滿分!
4.魚頭米線:限量發售,好正!魚湯味濃,米線滑漏又吸滿魚湯鲜味,記得加胡椒粉、葱白粒和大頭菜蓉,會令味道更佳。
5.墨西哥叉燒包:墨西哥餐包外皮甜脆鬆化又濃牛油味,內裡o既蠔皇叉燒配合得天衣無縫,叉燒肥瘦比例恰到好處,冇得挑剔!
6.懷舊豬膶燒賣:黃沙膶高膽固醇,正呀!更正係面頭果塊腐皮,吸收晒餡o既味道。
吃過車氏全部點心了,今次介紹其中幾款:

1) 酥皮叉燒餐包 (hk$26)
-仍喺咁鬆脆,個包嘅部份軟熟
-難怪差唔多每枱都有1碟
2) 鮑汁鱆魚雞粒飯 (hk$95)
-呢個嘅汁太多,所以飯嘅底部過濕
-味道喺無問題的,但手法同賣相就唔多得
3) 1000層馬拉糕 (hk$26)
-好鬆軟,又唔甜
-不錯
4) 豉汁排骨陳村粉 (hk$40)
-其實大家都喺想食陳村粉
-排骨夠味,又夠腍
-陳村粉唔腍,但如果可以彈d就更好了
5) 香煎蘿蔔糕 (hk$26)
-煎到表面微脆,所以不會挾起就散
-糕本身帶軟,沒有下咗好多粉
6) 懷舊豬潤燒賣 (hk$30)
-豬潤切得好薄,真喺不健康中都留番少少健康
-豬肉+蝦肉球部份彈,又鮮味
7) 晶瑩上素餃 (hk$18)
-無試到
8) 秘製蛋撻 (hk$30)
-見到秘製,所以叫來見識吓有幾秘製
-食到臘味嘅油香味啫

-肯定喺生磨杏仁,幾杏仁味
-不過個質感上,還是近似蛋白還蛋白,茶還茶,並非蛋白同茶+熱後,變得小糊糊哋,所以未能稱得上高水準

或許有不少朋友都知道, 我每篇食評都以歌名為題. 為到這篇食評起題, 不用多說, 有那一個比會過去的, 這首店主的經典歌更合適? 此店連續兩年一圍必比登推介, 究竟店子有甚麼比別人優勝?
星期六的中午來到, 一早訂了位, 就在埋邊的位置坐下. 店子面積不算大, 擺位是相當密, 跟隔離檯是接近零距離. 不過裝修就幾好, 走新派型格路線, 整體來講, 環境還算不俗.
這裡飲茶的價位不便宜, 茶錢$12一位, 小點$18, 中點已經去到$26. 當然, 比一眾酒店級星店還算相宜. 這裡以點心馳名, 當然要掛頭牌的兩款點心, 另外又要了客小食, 再在廚部推介中揀了兩樣食物. 至於甜的部份, 就揀了兩款甜點來一試.
鮑汁雞腳 $55: 5分, 不夠入味, 鮑汁味基本上是入不了雞腳, 就算點了底下的汁也沒有甚麼幫助.
酥皮叉燒餐包 $26: 9分, 這裡的招牌, 果然是相當精彩, 熱辣辣, 個皮是脆卜卜, 餐包夠鬆軟, 入面的叉燒也幾靚.
車氏筍尖鮮蝦餃 $32: 9分, 掛上招牌的點心, 皮薄, 蝦肉新鮮, 加上小小筍尖, 份量剛好, 不會是甚麼蝦餃皇, 一口一隻, 傳統而好出色.
千層馬拉糕 $26: 6分, 有層次, 糕也幾鬆軟, 但味道太淡, 沒有奶皇味, 是相當平淡的一客甜點, 或者適合怕甜的人吧.
老陳皮鴨腿湯飯 $68: 8分, 個湯好香, 陳皮下得足, 鴨腿肉不會實實的, 鴨肉味也滲入了湯內, 但又不會太油. 有水準.
紅炆牛尾 (跟煎米粉) $158: 7分, 牛尾炆得不夠入味, 個汁好像是跟牛尾且不上關係. 牛尾的肉質也嫌實了點. 不過個煎米粉就好香口, 不太油, 夠脆身, 點上個汁, 相當惹味.
椰子布甸 $32: 7分, 好有椰子香, 更有點椰子肉在內, 不過質感只是一般, 太硬淨了.
這裡的食物整體來講還算幾好, 單單來試兩味招牌點心也值回票價, 不過其他食物的水準就高低不一. 服務還算幾好. 當然在一眾必比登店來講, 這裡還是整體表現較好的一間.
