We had a very bad experience @ Heichinrou last Satuday. The incident as below:
We have made reservation the Tuesday before for a table of 13. The receptionist told us that they've got two time slots and we agreed to take the second time slot at 8:30pm. In addtional, we have ordered PEKING DUCK and asked the recepition to make sure that we would have that on the day. We called up again to re-confirm everything (seats and Peking Duck) on the Thursday and the receptionist told us that everything was being properly recorded.
On the day, all 13 of us arrived on time at 8:30pm. We have been advised that the table was not yet ready and need to wait. The receptionist asked us to order the food so that we could start our dinner once we got the table. We ordered and re-confirm them that we have reserved the Peking Duck. The waiter advised us that everything got sorted.
Finally, after waiting for 40 minutes. We got our table. The waiter came over and told us that our meals are ready and will be served. After 5 minutes, she came back and told us that ALL PEKING DUCKS have been taken (i.e NO DUCK). We asked her to check it again as we suspected that she has mixed up the orders and told her that we actually reserved the Peking Duck on Tuesday. She came back after 5 minutes and asked who we have ordered the duck with and asked us to provide the MANAGER name that we have talked over the phone on Tuesday. We were shocked. First of all, we did not ask for the manager's name and marked it down when we made our reservation. Secondly, we have been telling them several times on our reequests and confirmed and re-confirmed several times, we didn't believe that she would ask the questions over and over again. Nevertheless, the attitude was bad and she questioned if we have really reserved the duck. We then asked her to confirm us whether they have the Peking Duck for us. She asked us to wait again. At that moment, it was already 9:20pm. She immediately went out (as we were sitting in the room) and my friend followed her since we would like to confirm if we have the duck, if not, we would just leave. They have already wasted our time for almost an hour. The girl noticed that my friend was following her and asked my friend "What's wrong with you Miss?" in the middle of the corridor. My friend responsed that she would like to confirm if we have the duck and then another manager came over and told the girl that serverd us that they would send the duck over from the Tsim Sha Tsui Branch. My friend came back into the room and told us what she heard and we decided to leave.
The manager in charge had another chat with us before we left. The attitude was very bad, first of all he didn't apologize. Secondly he didn't explain the reason why there was no duck for us even we have reserved for it a few days before. Thirdly, he said, we have already provided remedial action (i.e. get the duck from the TST branch) and sort of questioned us why we bother that much. He even asked us to try the PEKING CHICKEN instead.
We were all very disappointed by their impolite and irresponsible attutuides. We are not commenting on the quality of their food but as a restuarant in such a popular area of Hong Kong. We cannot tolerate to have such a bad service.
The manager in charge called up my friend the next Monday morning (today) and said they would provide us with free meals. We all think that this offer came in too late and hesitiate to trust them again.
Dinner on 5 April 2008 with 4 people. Ordered BJ duck (2 dishes), deep-fired shirmp, egg with fish meat, pork soft bone pot, vegatable with min source.
Food is generally ok, but the service is poor. The waiters did not change the diskes even they are oily. Diskes are changed once you have instructed them to do so. No wet towels until they are instructed. Very bad service, but HSBC card can enjoy 10% discount, i.e. no 10% service charge.

叉燒腸
一去到當然即刻有位,我地2個人佢仲安排左好舒服既卡位俾我地,論環境呢度真係算唔錯,可以俾你靜靜地兩個人飲下茶傾下計。
佢下午茶有D係逐件逐件計,有D就係成份點心計,最後我地都唔係叫左好多野,因為幾肚餓,所以叫左個炒河,佢個名好長,總之就係類似干炒牛河既物體啦。個炒河幾好,唔算勁濃味,有D人可能會覺得佢淡口左少少,個份量都唔係好大,2個人食剛剛好,但係如果D牛肉再淋D同入味D就好啦。之後仲叫左個叉燒腸,呢個都幾好,佢個腸粉好滑,而且入味有好多叉燒,但我就覺得個皮厚左少少啦。
另外仲叫左2個甜點,一個係芝麻卷,一個係鴛鴦糕。我覺得2個都幾好食,鴛鴦糕好煙UN架,甜甜地,而芝麻卷呢就真係好香芝麻味,一層層好有口感,所以2個都幾好!
最唔好就係有位阿姐成日企係隔離睇住你D野食完未,一食完就即刻收,真係好煩,而且佢企係我隔離令我食得好唔自然,真係好想叫佢走開呀!
原來HSBC咭免茶芥免加一,咁又幾好喎,不過佢標榜野食完全無味精唔知真定假呢? 但D食物都唔差架,偶然想食清D,環境靜靜地呢度都幾好呀。

連同母親三人點了陳皮局中蝦, 海味扒大鴨, 干荵燒海蔘
還有小吃海蜇燻蹄.
最驚喜係大鴨, 海味有魚唇,魚肚, 乾堯柱, 花菇, 鴨有好稔, 好好味!
中蝦 size 細d, 不過用陳皮及豆豉局沒有槍了蝦的鮮味.
海蔘的汁杰了些, 整頓飯吃得很滿意!
服務亦非常令人舒服, 何以再來試另一些菜式.chater card 有 9折

日本橫濱來的高級中菜館
環境
聘珍樓的環境比較暗,有些情調。卡位十分闊落,坐得很舒適,四人卡位就像是六人的座位般,而且卡位離其他的檯較遠,很清靜也很有私隱。至於其他的檯,就擺放得比較密,不過由於椅子寬闊舒適,加上樓底也高,也不會讓人覺得擠逼,所以還可以接受。
不過,若果聘珍樓當日有飲宴,坐大廳邊上的檯就會非常嘈吵和更加擠逼,所以一定要要求坐進房間,那兒清靜和闊落得多。
服務
聘珍樓的服務員態度大多都很親切有禮,也會主動換牒和分飯麵等等,但不好的地方就是他們不很熟悉菜牌,那是因為聘珍樓有大的小的數個菜牌,有時叫他們拿指定的某個菜牌,他們會不清楚。而且服務員也有些太心急,吃到最後的時候他們會很快地收拾餐具,但又不是想趕客人埋單,就只是做得太快而已。
價錢
在時代廣場,聘珍樓算是比較貴的中菜,但某些菜式也算物有所值,加上使用HSBC信用卡有9折優惠,還算可以接受,晚飯每人$100-150左右吧。
茗茶
聘珍樓的茶不太好喝,不知道是由於茶葉質素不佳的原因還是他們太孤寒茶葉放得太少的原因,他們的茶都很淡口,沒甚麼味道,有些連顏色也很淡。所以記得要叫服務員放多些茶葉,又或沖了一兩次後叫人加茶葉。
小菜
日本來的高級餐廳,菜式自然是精緻的,而且用料上乘。不過很奇怪,聘珍樓菜牌(和雜誌報導的相同)上的推介菜式都是又貴份量又少又不好吃的,他們做得最出色的菜式如下:
(1) 桂花燒腩仔 $88
非常之驚喜,這是我們吃過最好吃的燒腩仔,比著名的利苑和夏宮更加好吃得多。首先,聘珍樓的燒腩非常新鮮,是熱辣辣的剛剛燒起的樣子,還可看到熱氣冒出來。
燒腩仔的皮酥脆鬆化帶著微焦和甘香,肉質則嫩滑彈牙,不肥不瘦,肥瘦相間,有油香有肉味,份量也是不多不少,剛剛足夠又不會讓人吃到覺得太肥膩。加上面層小甜但十分清香的桂花糖,配合著鹹香的燒肉,是完美的組合!
(2) 香芒生汁脆魚柳 $118
用的魚柳是外國的深海魚柳 ,不是亞洲貨色,因此鮮甜肥美厚肉又肉質嫩滑,一點都不腥,而且份量很多。魚柳的脆漿也做得很好,入口香脆厚薄適中,不會入口一團粉也不會過厚或過硬,炸得新鮮熱辣,十分香口。
香芒生汁份量也很多,是分開上的,不用擔心會浸"淋"脆魚柳。生汁即是沙律汁,好fresh好清新,加上粒粒香芒,都是熟透的,非常香甜新鮮。酸酸甜甜的香芒生汁很配合脆魚柳,而且減低了熱氣的感覺,增添了一份清新。
(3) 竹笙香圓豆腐煲 $78
香圓豆腐圓圓的有頗多塊數,能夠清楚吃到豆腐入面混合了蝦、蛋、冬菇、其他海鮮如魚等等,吃起來很像傳統的琵琶豆腐(裡面黃色的),很有蛋香冬菇香和海鮮的鮮甜,而且豆腐裡面的冬菇和海鮮粒粒也很有口感。外皮經過油炸更是香口,但之後用汁燴後不會太熱氣。
豆腐煲的蠔油汁也相當濃郁惹味,加上很多的其他配料包括爽口又滑的竹笙和又香肉又厚又滑的冬菇,還有白菜仔等,$78真是超值。
(4) 桂花琵琶豆腐 $98
桂花汁清香甜美,這種琵琶豆腐卻是新式的,即是裡面是白色的,沒有了蛋香和冬菇海鮮粒粒,不像香圓豆腐煲那種裡面是黃色的有材料的粒粒。我也吃不清楚這種新式的琵琶豆腐究竟在裡面豆腐碎中混合了甚麼,不過估計應該是魚肉之類還少許蝦的樣子,雖然沒有傳統的那麼香,但卻很滑溜,而且外皮炸得熱辣香脆,脆漿一樣做得很好,桂花汁剛好足夠,不會太多浸"淋"琵琶豆腐。
(5) 麵醬唐生菜 $78
唐生菜很新鮮,不會過熟,所以能保持爽脆鮮甜,麵醬用是鹹中比較甜的甜麵醬,那少許的甜能夠帶起麵醬的味道,令人覺得非常鹹香濃郁惹味但又不會過鹹,只可惜不是用煲上,所以稍欠香氣鑊氣和不夠熱。
(6) 乾燒美國桶蠔 $128
桶蠔很大很新鮮,有海水味,而且肥美又creamy,吃下去完全沒有渣,配上很濃香惹味的乾燒汁,很有鑊氣也夠熱。
炒飯
瑤柱葱花帶子炒飯:
炒飯用的是冷飯,飯炒得新鮮熱辣,香氣撲鼻,粒粒分明,夠乾身,而且一點都不油。瑤柱令飯很鮮甜和清香,帶子份量超多,大粒厚肉彈牙又鮮甜,而且還經過泡油,微顯金黃色有少許焦香,加上很香的蛋絲和葱花,是很完美的炒飯。

First Try

鋼琴伴中菜
侍應態度友善,應對詳盡有禮,加分。
菜單:
1)銀魚醬啫啫唐生菜煲-上枱熱辣,魚醬鮮甜,菜身爽脆。
2)海鮮蒸蛋白乳酪-海鮮絕不兒戲,新鮮蝦肉、蟹肉、魚肉,加上少許蔬菜片,蛋花茨汁份量適中。蒸蛋白滑溜,奇在食不出乳酪味何在@_@。
3)烏頭魚兩食-先上原條鹽水烏頭(凍食),配潮州豆醬,味道較咸,餸飯佳品。魚肉吃罷,侍應詢問後收回餘下的魚皮及魚頭造脆炸,10分鐘後一片片排列整齊的鬆脆魚片及炸魚頭重新上枱,配喼汁食,一流!
全晚菜式佳非常滿意,只是價錢不是經濟型,這次不是因信用卡優惠,亦未必會一試。

通常去晚飯,這次是第2次去飲茶
點心方面,平均$29一款,稍貴,而且午市沒有HSBC信用卡9折優惠
(1) 蝦餃
是全港最好之一,不但大,而且最重要的是有鮮甜味而且爽口,皮也做得好. 香港真的沒有甚麼地方的蝦餃有鮮甜味呢
(2) 煎芋頭糕
煎得很香口,芋頭糕有芋頭香味也有上湯的鮮甜味,不錯
(3) 皮蛋瘦肉粥
不錯,真的是煲的老火粥
(4) 各種腸粉
不錯啦,但不算非常好
(5) 炸海鮮卷
香口有鮮甜味,好吃
(6) 山竹牛肉
普通
(7) 帶子餃
有鮮甜味,好吃
小食方面
(1) 燒肉
不錯
(2) 桂花脆鱔
不好吃,只得個脆字
平均水準本來不錯,但茶錢和醬(XO)錢貴,導致飲茶來說平均$100一個人,實在太貴了,不值得.所以來聘珍樓還是吃晚飯比較好

這間酒樓很不錯,怎麼大家都不欣賞?
環境很好,服務本來沒甚麼,只是我不滿意他們的服務員不熟悉菜牌,每次我叫他們拿炒飯牌給我他們都不知道,而且某次他們太心急收拾餐具了,那時我和母親還沒吃完我們那小碗炒飯
還有他們的茶葉質素不太好,淡而無味,而且放得太少茶葉,每次我都要提醒他們多放點
最出色的菜式推薦:
(1) 香芒生汁脆魚柳$118
用的魚柳質素非常高,分量也多,所以不算貴了
就好像我在英國吃的炸魚薯條一樣美味,還更便宜
(2) 竹笙香圓豆腐$78
其實是琵琶豆腐,在香港還沒吃過做得比這兒好的,而且便宜
(3)麵醬唐生菜$68
很惹味,也不算貴
(4)瑤柱葱花帶子炒飯$88一碟一碗(半碟份量)則半價
我吃過最出色的炒飯之一,有香味,不油,夠乾身,而且帶子超多,比一碟炒帶子還多,所以超值
(5) 乾燒美國桶蠔$128
有5隻,頗大SIZE,味道不錯,有鮮甜味,價錢合理
(6) 片皮鴨
沒吃過,不過很多人叫,聽說很好吃,望見賣相也很好
(7) 雜菌炒牛柳粒$98
牛肉質素不錯,炒得很惹味,價錢還可以
不推薦的菜式:

太清淡了
(2) 茶燻蝦$168
太貴了,竟然只有6隻,而且完全沒有茶燻味,只像普通白灼蝦,騙人的!
(3) 茄子海鮮煲/涼瓜海鮮煲等等之類的海鮮煲about$108
很油,不覺得很好吃
(4) 栗子雞煲$98
雞還可,栗子太硬,不覺得很好吃
(5) 泰式千層糕around$30
不夠泰國餐廳好吃,也不便宜

北京填鴨 yummy yummy
個北京填鴨好好食,上碟時,o的皮仲系"趣"既。個螺肉就有o的失望,完全可以響超市賣魚生果個section 買到。魚唇湯有個架盛住,而且有個火興住o甘上臺。湯裏有金華火腿,所以有好濃既火腿味,有一塊花膠,同一舊白菜。食飯時,仲有師傅即場表演拉麵。
個場一的都唔滿,所以唔會太嘈。總括來講都ok,不過o的菜又真系唔系話好食到值呢個價錢。
