Came here with a group of friends who chose all you can eat Japanese. They had booked a table so we didn't have to wait which is a good thing as every table was packed. I forgot to take photos this time as the table was so tiny and place was cramped, I couldn't even fit my mobile phone next to me without it being flung to the floor.Anyways ... as you can tell, the tables were so close together, space was tight. Anyways ... as you can tell, the tables were so close together, space was tight. The table was also so cramped, we couldn't even make room for anything other than our basic eating utensils. It was also extremely noisy as there were so many people in the restaurant, all talking in such loud voices. The restaurant is also strange as it's located in the basement of a building so you walk down a flight of stairs and a door that looks like an fire escape door. Just bizarre. I have no idea if there is an elevator so if crippled people or elderly people may not find this place very convenient.
Other than that, the food here was actually not too bad. As it's an all you can eat Japanese, you get a bunch of pieces of paper (unfortunately no English) where you check off what you want, how many you want and you pig out for two hours. All you can drink non alcholic drinks are also included in this deal. The menu choices were also extensive. Everything from sushi, shashimi, yakitori, tempura, even sukiyaki and crab congee was available. We ordered a number of items. Food came rather quickly and seemed that all orders came. There was a moment we wondered if they gave us more than what we ordered as we got four huges plates of sashmi that had the exact same seafood on it. Sashimi was fresh. Hot food was hot. Tempura was crispy. A couple of friends proclaimed the deep fried mochi was mind blowingly fantastic especially dipped with condensed milk.
After our two hours were up, they didn't ask us to go as there was no one else needing a table. Most other places would have asked us to go regardless so I thought that was pretty good so friends can continue to chat.
All in all, pretty good place though rather noisy and cramped. May not return unless with this same group of friends again. Would recommend as an all you can eat place of friends.
