My VIP guest from Sweden and I had yet another perfect Aqua experience, this time with the glorious Sunday "Infinity" brunch with free-flow of Veuve Clicquot (my favourite!).The moment we arrived at the table we were welcomed with a nice glass of bubbly and the offer of water or other drinks. Only seconds later, the warm selection of breads and home-made aioli arrived along with a bowl of lightly salted steamed Edamame. We dug in right away while taking in the glorious sight of Victoria Harbour.
First up was a selection of Italian antipasti: some marinated grilled eggplant with perfect little mozzarella spheres and gorgeous ham, all on a bed of peppery arugola. Then came the mixed sushi and sashimi platter, which we liked that much, we asked for another one right away. It came with a new variete that was even better - yum yum.
Next we had lovely penne with ground beef, herbs and tomato and the most delicious gnocchi in a creamy cheese sauce with chives. Absolutely divine! The cold soba noodles came in a delicious broth and topped with a perfectly poached egg. I'm a great fan of poached eggs and very fussy - this one was superb! We were actually already getting rather full but the manager came over for a chat and another glass of bubbly and so we bravely orderd our mains from the menu. My friend had the tempura, which looked perfectly golden and crisp, while I had the beef cheek on mashed potato (it was tender enough to break up with a spoon!). Another delight! Last but not least, we were treated to one of the amazing Aqua dessert platters. This time it featured tangerine sorbet (my favourite!), vanilla icecream, mango icecream (amazing as well), green tea creme brulee (a must try) and the all time favourite Tiramisu (also to die for). This is really the best thing to do on a lazy Sunday when you don't feel like crowd surfing in the malls or being eaten by mosquitos in the country park.
Thanks again to the amazing Aqua team for making our day just perfect! Love you lots!

Don't be afraid to ask for more. It's an "infinity" brunch and nobody has to leave the table hungry.
