To be honest, I'm not a sweet tooth nor have a great appetite for Chinese desserts such as herbal grass jelly, durain with lychee jelly or black seseme mochi. La Petit Prince serves up one of the best waffles this side of Mong Kok. By comparison to the wee French shop at the corner of Dundas Street and Ladies Market, La Petit Prince does an excellent job with it's waffles. Warm and expertly toasted, a hint of sweetness that marries well with the vanilla ice cream and sweet banana slices.

The shop itself is well run, courteous staff and clean.
