The Lobby- The Peninsula . High Five ! High Tea Time ! Again and again ! No doubt it is a vicious circle , but this is must - do actives in my life . You certainly no idea how high tea drive me crazy .... As I mention before , it is not about the trend , I just treat it as a habit since I am 12 . And now , Hong Kong is exactly the heaven for high tea , every hotels , eateries provide high tea , that 's why it even create more motivation for me to hit different spots . The best come to mushroom puff . This puff are extremely delicious with a strong mushroom aroma . The whole thing is very aromatic and tasty , minced mushroom are marinated , complement well with the buttery puff . This mushroom temptation is truly subtle and memorable . This is my favorite among all of it .
Upper level- Sweet delights
Chocolate madeleines are hard , somehow this chewy bites are likable with a unique touch and rich in flavor , chocolate hint is strong and dense . On the side is strawberry mousse cake . This taste over - sweet but still maintain a distinctive layers with strawberry jelly , coconut mousse , cream cake base . Middle one is chocolate with whipped cream , tastes are impressive with a harmonious mouthfuls . The whole thing melts swiftly and blend to a perfection .
