After realizing that almost NOTHING seemd to be open on weekdays in Tai O, my friend and I almost gave up and wanted to leave. Since we were walking around trying to find something to eat, we became so thirsty in this hot weather. After walking back and forth, my friend found this place that was closed.Service:However, the granny inside saw that we kept peeking our heads in and came out and asked us if we wanted something. However, the granny inside saw that we kept peeking our heads in and came out and asked us if we wanted something. Yes we did! She said that she wasn't open but she'd make their famous lemon tea for us if we had them to go! Now, that is service from the heart. When we left, we smiled and thanked her and she smiled back warmly. How cute. 婆婆真好人，無開門都肯整兩杯俾我地嘆，條件係要外賣，咁當然無問題啦！
Decor & hygiene:
Peeking in, it really did just look like someone's home with extra tables inside. Like every place I walked by here, this place too seemed dark and unkept. However, it didn't bother me since keeping things real is part of Tai O's charm.
Taste & Value:
We watched the old granny make our Lemon teas. Adding this, adding that, the drinks were ready. This drink is well known because it's a cold lemon tea that doesn't use ice or lemon slices. The drink tasted different from the ones you usually have outside. It was sweetened perfectly and wasn't too acidic. It was perfect for hot weather. However, it was a rather small cup for $14.
Final Verdict:Because of the granny, I'd definitely go back although it was such a small cup, but nonetheless, it was a good cup of lemon tea.
