Great supermarket sells soupy noodles during weekdays lunch hour (from 11.30 to the ingredients sell out at around 1.30). This is similar to the HK concept of 車仔麵, where you get to choose which type of noodles, soup, and ingredients you want.. The price is a bit high at $58 per bowl which includes 3 choices of ingredients.Noodles:- Hor Fun (flat rice noodles), egg noodles, spinach noodles, Mai Fun (rice vermicilli). The noodles are nothing to scream about and not different that what you'd get in

Soup
- Chicken: This is probably from an instant stock as tastes more of salt / MSG than chicken. However, it's a good pick for cold winter days.
- Tom Yum: This is my personal favorite and comes with fresh spices, a evenly sour soup, and a layer of red chilli oil! Very aromatic and everyone around you in office is sure to smell it
- Yellow Chicken Curry: This is a bit too light / watery for me but is reasonably fragrant and not too strong taste of coconut.
Ingredients (choice of 3):
- deep fried fish
- vietnamese sausage (扎肉)
- pork
- shredded chicken
- soy sauce marinated chicken wing
- squid balls
- fish balls
- smoked duck breast
- shrimp
- sliced beef
Also comes with veggies, beansprouts and deep fried beancurd.
Recommend to eat this asap after buying otherwise the meats get very tough sitting too long in the hot soup.
