Nice craft beer but no bar food! I read in past reviews they had amazing fries so I was looking forward to that. Server told me there were no longer any fries because they thought the chef was too amazing for that... so they only had fancy cheese platter / cold cuts, fancy pasta and Chinese style brisket, or rice balls?!? Ordered the brisket , I got to say drinking good beer with a brisket requiring a fork is weird. I went elsewhere for my much craved fries.

Also the brisket wasn't very tender.

Good beer if a tad expensive compared to the competition. Please rethink your menu.

Went here one day after work as I like craft beer and this was the city newest craft beer place.

Sat upstairs only to realise I had to go downstairs to order draft. Read the menu behind the bar and saw the name "No Label". Asked the waiter if it was a lager or stout or something else. His response : " You can taste test it" and told the bartender to give me a test then walked away.

While I really appreciate the ability to taste test beer. The impression I got was that the servers were really ignorant of basic beer knowledge especially when they only had 5-6 Brewdog beers on tap.

The beer itself was good, as expected. I tried a few pints of different brews. And I know the place is new, hopefully next time the servers will be more educated or there can be a beer description next to the menu.

Went here for dinner, was expecting typical Cantonese cusine fare but came out pleasantly surprised. The chef did a really good job making typical Chinese cooking new again.

Lowlights:

-The Starter:The Sichuan spicinees and numbness overpowered the other dish. I thought they were trying to replicate French dining with tiny starters but I don't think this worked. Getting worried about the following courses.

Highlights included:

Shark Fin Soup- I don't really enjoy eating shark fin for ethical reasons but this was unlike any shark fin soup I eaten. Very Nice.

Sea Cucumber- wow unlike any sea cucumber I ever tasted. The server did an excellent job with explaining why it tastes so good and different.

Dessert: Is it called Swollow Nest Spit in English? Excellent with the avacado.

Service and Ambience: 10/10 but no wine by the glass which isn't great when you are the only one that drinks.

Overall: would love to go again. Hopefully the chef changes his menu a bit for variety in the future!

Went to resturant on Dec 27 expecting a good time. There were five of us...

We ordered the chef set menu for $1500hkd each.

After 30 mins of waiting for our salad, and only given one cup of tea (between 5 people !!!), we asked the waiter where our food was. After our 2nd prompting, our salad came.

The Persimone salad tasted fine, but I highly doubt it took 30 mins to prep...After salad we ordered some Hot Sake, the waiter immediatly recommended the most expensive bottle for us. Naturally we choses something less pricy. She gave a tray of cups and just told us to "Choose!" She did not bother pouring the wine into the cups for us though and we had to ask 2x before a waiter filled our cups.

Afterwards came the sashimi, the waiter just put down the dish and left. My dad asked another waiter what sashimi we were eating, he just said  "that piece is xxx" and left without explaining the rest of the sashimi pieces?!?From there on, the service contiuned going down hill, eventually we just had to pour our own sake, refill the sake bottle ourselves, and ask to have our sake reheated.

Later on we had a Japanese rice and tea dish, since we were sharing the dish we asked for more spoons. The waitress decided to had us tiny dessert spoons instead but neglected to give us bowls...We also ordered Special California Roll on the side. I don't understand why it costs 2x of a Californa Roll $120 vs $240, maybe it was the extra salmon roe on the top?!? Very bland tasting though.

The food was generally ok, I expected it to taste better for the price and have eaten a lot better for similar price. But the service was absolutly horrendous for the price I was paying! I have better service at a 茶餐廳 ！
