Went at the wrong timing and had to fight for seats with the lunch crowd...

The lady captain was patient and friendly though she looked stressed with the pressure from the queueing customers.

Ordered the 1/4 suckling pig, 1/4 roast goose and dried scallop fried rice.

The roast meats were good. Skins were crispy and fatty enough to make me wants more...The goose fat was heaven with the rice.

The fried rice was actually the star of the meal!!! It was very very good. Every grain was cooked to perfection and the kitchen did a good job controlling the 'wok hei'.

This place was on my hit list after reading the reviews and we tried the stall immediately after touched down for dinner.

We were 6th in the queue and waited patiently for our seats. The lady helper was quite friendly and gave recommendations when we asked if we could do mix of salted fish and chicken and sausages. In the end, we ordered the chicken with salted fish, chinese sausages with waxed meat, fried oyster cakes with duck eggs and a vegie soup.

The portion of the claypot is small and made for individual.

Very cramped inside and we brought along our 12 mths old son...bad move!!! However, it is cooling inside with aircon and ventilated.

Interesting thing was that customers can buy your own drinks from nearby shops.

The salted fish with chicken was a let-down. It was tasty but not as good as the Singaporean version. In addition, the burnt rice at the bottom wasn't that burnt...
But the chinese sausages version was good. The lup cheong and liver sausages were fatty and went well with the rice.
The oyster cakes were superb. Insanely tasty and I could down a dozen of them with beer.
The vegie soup was ok.
